    I am very pleased with the Vantrue N4 Pro 4K Dashcam. However, I encountered two problems during installation that were partly my fault.
    (1) I installed the main camera as high as possible near the rear-view mirror but leaving what I thought was enough room above for wiring. However, the wire for the rear-view camera caught the headlining and restricted the movement of the camera. Fortunately, the problem was solved using a right-angle type C USB cable adapter. (Photo attached).
    (2) I realized that the rear-view camera was intended to be attached directly to the glass without the spare Electrostatic Sticker. I decided to use the spare Electrostatic Sticker onto the glass first to make removal easier for when I change my car. I carefully lined up the rear camera with the VANTRUE label the right way up from inside the car. When I switched on the camera the rear-view image was upside down. Resetting it was not very satisfactory as I had damaged both the Electrostatic Sticker and the adhesive pad.
    To avoid this problem, I should have watched an online video first as their rear-view camera ended up with an upside-down view!!!

    I ordered and received the Vantrue N4 Pro 4K this week and I must say, it has surpassed my expectations. This Vantrue N4 Pro 4K dash cam, with 3 sources of video (Front, Internal Cabin & Rear) provides me with a fantastic 360 degree record, while driving on the road.

    The design of the Vantrue N4 Pro 4K Dash cam is attractive and feels well-made and of good build quality. The adhesive mounts (x4 = x2 pre installed + x2 spare/replacements) provided with the device are strong and secure, keeping the camera firmly in place, on the front windscreen and rear window.

    If you prefer a dash mounted solution, this is not included in the Vantrue N4 Pro 4K dash cam kit that I ordered, so this might be an option that can be sourced separately, if required but I prefer to use window mounting, below the rear view mirror on the windscreen.

    First and foremost, the video quality of the Vantrue N4 Pro 4K dash cam is excellent. It captures crystal-clear footage in 4K (front) +1080P (cabin) +1080P (rear) 30fps full HD resolution.

    The forward facing wide-angle lens provides a comprehensive view of the road, through the windscreen. The camera can be angled left and right and also up and down to find the preferred field of view. The internal, rear view, cabin camera can be adjusted up and down, to find the most acceptable view, very easily. With the rear window camera, the only adjustment is up and down once you fix it to the window using the adhesive strip and this was very easily set up.

    I can confidently say that this Vantrue N4 Pro 4K dash cam has significantly raised the bar, in terms of video clarity, by comparison to my previous dash cam, which, only recorded the view through the front windscreen, at 1080p resolution.

    One feature that deserves special mention, is the built-in G-sensor. It automatically detects any sudden movements or impacts and promptly saves the footage, ensuring that any important evidence is never lost. This provides peace of mind, in case of any unfortunate or unforeseen incidents.

    The Vantrue N4 Pro 4K dash cam is easy to set up and use. The intuitive interface and user-friendly controls make navigating through the settings a breeze. Additionally, the loop recording feature ensures that I never have to worry about running out of storage space, as it automatically overwrites the oldest footage. The only item you will need to provide separately, is a suitably sized SD card to capture the footage. You can then download the footage wirelessly via the Vantrue app on your phone (scan the QR code on the box for app download link) or remove the SD card, to review footage on another device or PC. I used the Vantrue app, which, connects via 2.4G or 5G Wi-Fi and it was very easy to setup and transfer the files.

    The Vantrue app provides the following features:
    Supports wireless connection with Vantrue WiFi dashcam
    Preview the current recording in real-time in the app
    Support picture and video download and playback
    Easily access or modify dash cam settings through the app

    Based on the ease of setup and excellent image quality, I highly recommend the Vantrue N4 Pro 4K dash cam and give it a well-deserved five-star rating!

    I have had my share of experiments with dashcam, the most recent one with a very well-known brand which worked for a few years but recently started restarting on its own in a loop, which is a known issue for that brand. I came across the Vantrue range during online searches and purchased one dashcam as a trial, not having heard about this brand before. To my pleasant surprise, the installation and use of the device was extremely smooth and very simple. The app connectivity is seamless, and the video resolution is excellent. I loved it so much that over the next few weeks, I went on to purchase 3 more dashcams (different models) for different cars and they have all been just perfect. One of the dashcam models (N2S) does not offer wifi connectivity for app access, which is a bit odd in these times when even refrigerators are IoT enbabled, otherwise everything else is perfect. Also, none of the dashcams has the feature to allow remote access to video footage or settings over the internet; you have to be in close vicinity to connect to the dashcam’s wifi signal for app access. That is the only feature I would request for future models but I understand for that to work the device would require either an LTE module or 2-way wifi communication.

    I have 2 of the N4 Pro dashcams, 1 of the E3 and 1 of N2S and I cannot speak highly enough about them all. On one vehicle (BMW X5) I ran into an issue where the rear camera cable was too short to reach the rear windscreen and the seller offered to ship me a new, longer cable free of cost (I understand the connecting cable, which is a USB type-C, is proprietary). If this isn’t excellent customer service then I don’t know what is.

    Overall I am very pleased with my decision and have recommended these devices to many friends. Vantrue range of dashcams is a breath of fresh air in this deluge of over-technical and under-performing devices. If you are looking for reliability & stellar performance coupled with ease of use, just get one. You will not regret it.

    I bought the Vantrue N4 pro dashcam for my daily commutes and I am very happy with it. It has three cameras that record high-quality videos of the front, inside, and rear of the car. The front camera can capture 4K resolution, while the inside and rear cameras can record 1080p. The inside camera also has infrared night vision, which is very useful for driving at night.

    The dashcam is easy to install and use. It comes with a sturdy mount that attaches to the windshield with a magnet (you uavebto clean the surface cleanly, else you mught have an issue with the camera coning off). It also has a voice control feature that lets me start or stop recording, take photos, or lock videos with simple commands, my children love this feature. The LCD screen is large and clear, and the buttons are responsive. The dashcam also has a GPS module that records the speed and location of the car.

    The only downside of the dashcam is that it does not have built-in Wi-Fi 5GHz, it only transmit using the 2.4GHz, which could be slow when transferring files, so I have to use a cable (included) to transfer the videos to my computer or phone. It also have a parking mode, which is nice for extra security.

    Overall, I would recommend the Vantrue N4 pro dashcam to anyone who wants a reliable and versatile device that can record everything that happens on the road and in the car. It is a bit pricey, but it is worth it for the quality and features it offers. It is one of the best dashcams I have ever used.

    5.0 out of 5 stars It's worth it.

    5 Stars – Package
    5 Stars – Quality
    5 Stars – Wired KIT with very useful information – took 15 minutes to install front+rear cameras in a Jag

    Opted for Vantrue 4N PRO due Motion Detection feature which is great in the area where I live, Liverpool FC’s Stadium ..those from Liverpool knows 😀

    CPL Filter is a must and everyone should get it. No comments about that, everyone should know windscreen reflection will always be there [sun/headlight reflections/etc] without a CPL filter.

    Front camera is all you need when it comes to capture number plates at night/tunnels, had several other dashcams which had same Image processor [Starvis] but was not even near Vantrue’s N4 Pro 4k dashcam.

    Dashcam’s size is a big larger than others and is visible from outside but for me is OK, is a “Security through obscurity”.

    Rear Camera + Cabin Camera are both OK.

    4,9 Starts for the APP, there is one down sigh about it [missing auto upload to cloud], and I am saying this because I want Vantrue to consider that in future releases, for which for sure I’ll go. Cases where auto cloud upload is useful [car theft] – my dashcam will go with “them” 🙂

    I used 3 different dashcams in the last 5 years from EM Jaguar to Garmin and others… none surprised so much as Vantrue N4 Pro.

    Overall pleased with my purchase, however there are a few things I will mention that someone else will hopefully find useful:
    Positives:
    -easy to connect via the app, easy to clip a video and reshare, easy to set it up;
    – very good video quality for the front, decent quality for cabin and rear;

    Negatives:
    – screen is a bit too small for my liking (check specs);
    – quite hard to tell when the it is recording (there’s a blinking green light ) especially if you position the camera a bit to the right and then you angle it to the left to center the picture;
    – when the SD card is full, the new recordings become corrupted and I have to format the card to make it work again (maybe this is just something that only I am experiencing);
    – parking mode works only if hard wired;

    Overall.
    A really great camera system with sharp video that was especially good at night time.

    Arrival and unboxing.
    Arrived promptly via Amazon and the packaging was pretty deluxe and when I got to the cameras the build quality seemed great too. It came with a long lead to power via the cigarette lighter which was ideal for me.

    Installation.
    Really easy. The kit comes with wipes, and also adhesive pads which go between the glass and camera and promote good adhesion. The instructions were well easy too taking you through step-by-step. I got my wife to install it as she’d not done one before and wanted to try and she found it really simple to do.

    Usage.
    The highlight for me is really the picture quality, especially of the main front camera. It’s so crisp at reading number plates, even in low light. I really liked this camera as it uses the new STARVIS 2 sensor and it lives up to my expectations. There’s not to many distracting noises on the unit, and the menus within it are easy to understand and navigate. There’s a really nice big button on the side to hit too if need be. All the instructions are in the leaflet provided and it’s really very straightforward.

    Summary.
    I need to buy a camera for another vehicle, and I’m going to be getting this one again!

    5.0 out of 5 stars Really Fantastic Camera

    This dashcam uses the new Sony Starvis2 sensor, featuring an impressive 4k on the main camera and 2x1080p on the other 2 cameras.
    All of them boast HDR technology, resulting in significantly improved recording quality. Both daylight and night footage are quite impressive 🙂

    GPS data are recorded alongside the footage and you are able to playback the videos including the route. Amazing!

    In terms of dimensions, the front camera strikes a balance, not overly large but appropriately sized given the 4K sensor.
    The screen is on the smaller size, probably a design choice to avoid a bulky unit.
    I think it’s a smart choice as I’m able to control any aspects of the camera using the mobile app and the camera Wifi Connection.

    The CPL filter (if you want to reduce the glare/reflection) is optional and you need to buy it separately.
    Given the cost of the camera and its top-end segment, I think it would have been nice if it was included

    24/7 parking monitoring is supported but I’ve not tested it as it needs an extra connection cable that needs to be bought separately. I’ll edit the review if I decide to buy it.

    The installation process was relatively straightforward, taking just over an hour.
    The included tool was beneficial to drive the wires seamlessly along the roof lining, between the seams, and behind the trims.
    The power cable is long enough to reach the cigarette charger in the main console, and the cable connecting the main camera to the rear one is impressively long. In fact, I had over 2 meters of extra cable to “hide” behind the trims.

    Note: The camera needs a micro sd card that you need to buy separately (up to 512GB supported)

    5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive video quality and very nice mobile app.

    Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI recently purchased the VANTRUE N4 Pro Dash Cam, and it has far exceeded my expectations. This masterpiece from the VANTRUE Nexus series is nothing short of spectacular, offering a 4K+1080P+1080P 30fps full HD resolution across three channels. The clarity of the recordings is astounding, capturing every minute detail on the road, making it an ideal choice for documenting scenic drives and vital for recording any road incidents.
    The HDR technology on all three channels ensures balanced exposure, providing high-quality footage regardless of lighting conditions. Moreover, the wide-angle cameras cover an impressive field of view, leaving no blind spots. This feature alone makes the N4 Pro an essential tool for every driver.
    The night vision capabilities of this dash cam are remarkable. Thanks to the Sony STARVIS 2 image sensor and Sony IMX678 chip, the N4 Pro outperforms even the human eye in low-light conditions. This feature is especially useful for capturing clear images of license plates and traffic signs at night or during inclement weather.
    The ability to download, share, and edit videos directly from my phone via the user-friendly Android app is a game-changer.
    The parking monitor feature is another standout. The dash cam’s ability to record 10 seconds before motion detection offers peace of mind, especially when leaving the car in public spaces. Additionally, the collision detection and various parking modes cater to different needs, making this dash cam versatile for any situation.
    Another aspect I appreciate is the emergency lock feature. In the event of a sudden collision, the G-Sensor locks and saves the current video, ensuring crucial evidence is not overwritten.
    In conclusion, the VANTRUE N4 Pro Dash Cam is an excellent investment for anyone looking for a high-quality, feature-rich dash cam. It offers not only security and documentation for your vehicle but also the convenience and ease of use that make it stand out in the market.
    How it was packed with all accessories that made me to install it so easy -is impressive I think it is most premium camera on the market right now!
    For clarity its 3 camera as name suggest. 1 for road 1 for driver and 1 on a back of the car.
    I really loved the android app where I could download videos straight to my phone without removing sd card from dashcam and I could preview the route live with video showing me GPS location on the map.

    Undoubtedly one of the best dash cams currently available, the Vantrue N4 Pro offers excellent 4k image quality using the Sony Starvis 2 IMX678 image sensor on the front, and great 1080p quality on the rear and cabin cameras.

    Reading license plates under any condition is very important in a dash cam, and the N4 Pro allows license plates to be clearly read when in motion. Where this dash cam really excels is night time use; license plates can clearly be read at night, even if the rest of the scene is dark or in motion.

    All three cameras support HDR, which allows more detail to be seen in shadows, while avoiding overexposure in the same frame.

    I was able to easily set up the dash cam at night, using only the light from my phone flashlight. No expertise or prior experience is necessary.

    The Vantrue app is helpful in remotely changing the settings of the dash cam, as well as downloading footage to your phone, instead of having to take the SD card out all the time. Being able to view the live feed from the dash cam on your phone is pretty cool.

    The Vantrue Player allows viewing the GPS trace of each clip, along with telemetry such as your speed, coordinates, and acceleration, helpful if you want to prove that you weren’t speeding. Using it, you can also view the footage from all three cameras separately or simultaneously, even though they are recorded into separate files.

    I’d definitely recommend the N4 Pro to anybody who wants peace of mind in the event of a collision, as it’s image quality and ability to clearly capture license plates is brilliant, and will certainly help immensely in any trouble following an accident.
