This is without the best bike light I have had over the past year, having had so many rubbish ones.
The light has 4 settings, 3 levels of brightness plus one fast strobe effect ideal for use as a light horn. there isn’t an audible horn on this light, unless I brought 2 dude lights. It is constructed from metal and is solid.
Been using the light on max brightness this week going to and from work whilst it is dark outside. This light clearly illuminates the road I am on at least 200 meters ahead, maybe more with the strobe. The battery managed almost 200 minutes (3hours 20 minutes) before running out of power at this level of brightness. Will last even longer on the other two settings.
The unit does take several hours to change once depleted, and doesn’t appear to charge if you connect it to a fast charger. So can only be charged by a regular phone charger. The charge indicator is on the button, and will turn green once fully charged.
Mounting onto the handle bars is excellent with a proper clamp, not one of these stretched rubber ones which I find highly unreliable.
Overall I highly recommend this cycle light. As it is durable, long lasting and reliable.
I cycle to work daily and this time of year it’s always in the dark. I wanted a set of lights that got me noticed and that’s exactly what these do. Battery life is excellent too. Let me assure you if there is a problem the after sales service is also excellent.
I’m giving this four stars, as the back light charging cable did not work. After trying various cables at home I found one that does the job. The front light is very bright and once I found a cable that worked, the back light does a job too.
