Vitamin D Has Several Well-documented Benefits

A 2016 study by Public Health England (PHE) found that most adults should consider taking a daily vitamin D supplement “to help keep healthy bones, teeth and muscles.”

Although sunlight on the skin helps to produce Vitamin D naturally in the body, the majority of the population is not getting enough.

PHE writes: “Since it is difficult for people to meet the [recommended Vitamin D levels] from consuming foods naturally containing or fortified with Vitamin D, people should consider taking a daily supplement.”
