Bought to cut partners hai
My partner is very lazy about going to the Barbers and I was sick of nagging him to go. Now I have these I don’t think he will need to go again, very easy to use and after watching a YouTube video I was able to trim him from Viking length hair to give him his usual short back and sides. Definitely recommend!
Brilliant hair colour coded clippers

I had been using a Remington for the last 7 years but accidently left this behind at different location. Read reviews on various trimmers and it looked like that Wahl came out on top, and I can’t disagree at all. This is a cheaper product than the Remington but gives a superior cut. Like; colour coded trim sizes, making it easier to identify cut required. Long lead when using it from the mains. Balance, weight and size are perfect. Dislikes; NONE!
Good but...
All good, as others have said, the comb and scissors are a bit flimsy, but its the trimner thats important. The main trimmer is great, quiet, efficient and cuts well. The smaller trimmer is battery operated which you need to get batteries for (ie not included) would have been 5 stars apart from this, why the smaller one can’t be rechargeable too….??
Why didn't I buy these earlier?
After many years of hard service, my old clippers weren’t cutting it…literally!
The reviews on many of the clippers were mixed, so I plumped for these, despite my reservations about being cordless, and the playschool coloured combs. Fair to say, my reservations were completely unfounded…open box, clip on comb, buzz…done. So much better than the old ones. Sharp, precise and, yes, finding the right comb is easy now.

My old Wahl finally became inoperative. The battery must have died. There seems to be some confusion with some of these clippers because they say they are `corded`. This means they have a cable which is used to charge the battery so it is not entirely accurate. Us old school folk take corded to mean mains operated.
So the first clip I did produced pleasing results. The cut was smooth. The pretty colours are a nice touch to aid in selecting the right length of cut.
Great value clippers
Bought as it was cheapest option but it brilliant. Does exactly what you need it to do. I’m no hairdresser but I find it perfect to cut partners hair at home
value for money
This was very cheap and on offer, it des exactly waht you would expect it to, althought the charging port is a little bit of a wiggle to get it in, still worth buying but i can see this deteriating over time.

Happy with clipper set although the small trimmers takes up alot of battery life, so doesn’t last long, that’s why a 4 star. Clearly something with how this has been made.
great machine
This is a well built and feels solid. It is far better than my previous clipper which had the cable a real nuisance! It cuts well – both my hair and my beard. Though better than my previous I do hope it will last as long as that one (12 years)
Mastered the lockdown hair grooming!
During lockdown my partner lost his hair dresser, being on the spectrum he was unable to find another he liked. I stepped up and began to do his hair!
The hair clippers are very smooth and come with oil to keep them sharp and rust free. The whole family have now used them and I plan on getting some for my dad for fathers day!
Really easy to use
I’ve had a more expensive wahl clipper that packed in after a few years (on off button issue) This one however is far easier to use, better at the job, and a different on off switch that I don’t think should have the same issue. I would say it takes me less than half the time to get a good even cut with this than any other clipper I’ve used. Highly recommend.
Havent used a barbers shop in ages.
Had an older Whal clipper, a wired one and like everything else through use and fair wear and tear it eventually gave up the ghost. Replaced it with this one. Nice and light, charges up fairly fast. Comes with a mulitude of graded easy clean plastic colour coded combs . Really easy to use and nice and sharp…no pulling etc. In the pouch therte is also a lubricant, a bruch for the steeel blades, a regular comb and (really shrp) barbers scissors. Wholely satisfied with my purchase.
What, you still go the barbers?
During Covid I bought a cabled version of this type of product. The real hassle was that one had to plug in an extension cable and run it into the bathroom in order to cut one’s hair in front of an illuminated mirror. The other irksome feature was that the comb attachments were all in black plastic and the numbers designating the size of the combs were indistinctly impressed into the plastic. one of my aims in life is to reduce faff and these deficiencies all resulted in faff to the point that my hair languished long before I could bring myself to set up for a trim. This product has had the considerable benefit of reducing the faff: it runs on a battery, although corded use is also possible; it has combs differentiated in size by colour. And of course, I no longer feel obliged to pretend to be interested in the interminable spiel about football or motorbikes that experience has taught are the main, possibly only, conversational topics of barbers once they have you in the chair.
Clippers are great, other accessories are alrigh
The clippers are very good, it’s comfortable in the hand, the blades are sharp, and it’s more than powerful enough for thick hair. The guards are also sturdy feeling and they’re easy to put on and off quickly without feeling flimsy. However the comb and brush are a bit cheap feeling, I felt the comb might snap if I wasn’t really careful. And the scissors weren’t great either, they struggled to cut my hair cleanly/easily
All in all I’d definitely recommend the kit because the clippers are the most important but I’d say you may also need to get some better scissors
Great Hair Clippers
I brought the pro set which incudes three different Clippers. They are well made. Easy to hold and much better than my electric clippers I had before no cable to get in the way or restrict you.
I like the colour coding for the different grades very useful.
What I don’t like is they stay on red permanently when charging I was waiting for tge red light to change to green or go off so you know they are fully charged. But unfortunately the Clippers just stay on a red light so you don’t know if they are fully charged.
Would I buy them again. Definitely. I just hope the manufacturer reads my comment about the red light staying on permanently when on charge.
Tip. I would say they are fully charged after two hours.
