Only worn a few times but these are great for keeping warm in winter. Quite thick so tight fitting trousers are a struggle but that’s probably down to Christmas excess!!
Bought these as a Christmas present for my husband for skiing. He’s a 32 waist and I bought him a M and the trousers are quite tight round the legs and a bit short (he’s just short of 6ft). They’re nice and warm though
Exactly what I personally wanted, went for XXL / 2XL size (I’m 44 inch chest and 34 inch waist – I’m 5′ 9” with a 32” inside leg.) they are a looser fit with this size choice. I’ve been wearing for about a week on and off across Three sets (bought these two after the first arrived and I liked the fit). I’ve now washed them as well (they did not run in a low temperature wash or have a problem with a low temperature tumble dry) They’ve been out walking, worn on their own under a Drysuit for a couple of hours kayaking at 8 degrees C air temperature – not in the water. I’ve worn them in warmer environments and have still been comfortable (coffee shop etc) – even under my yoga trousers for an hour of Pilates without them being a hinderance or uncomfortably warm. I’ve kept them on instead of pyjamas and have taken advantage of the relief access without issue. They work for me; hence 5 stars – follow the size chart (only discrepancy is that chart says 2XL against XXL in ordering – when it arrives it’s marked 2XL – looks like this is the only size that does this).

The material is nice and soft and not restrictive when you have it on,it’s high quality material and very warm after a few minutes of wearing it. It is a great price and came well packaged and before the delivery date. I go sea fishing and it keeps me nice and cosy and I don’t sweat in it.The top is long so it doesn’t expose my lower back and the trousers have a pee hole so that’s very helpfull. I am very happy with them.

About my girlfriend the lady set of these thermals but a week ago and she very much liked them. I decided that I should try and have some myself. I bought by the sets and the legs fit really well. This slightly snug, but in it comfortable way the top is similar, although the sleeves are a little bit short. However, that does have the advantage that he doesn’t get in the way of the calfs of any shirts and coats you may be wearing.
I have no scientific way of proving it but it feels so your a couple of degrees Celsius warmer wearing the thermals. I was previously wearing three layers now and just wearing a thick shirt and the thermal beneath.
We went shopping the other day when it was- 2 outdoors. I was wearing thermals or shirts coats and pair of jeans and I felt perfectly warm and I didn’t feel that I needed any further layers.
