Good third party controlle
This isn’t a bad wireless controller from AceGamer. I’ve not tried it with a PC as I’m a bit of a stickler for using gamepads from that, cough, other platform, that just work seamlessly with my gaming setup.
As far as the PS4 goes, following the supplied instructions it was straightforward to set this up with my PS4. I loaded up RD2 and put the pad through its paces over a few hours. It is responsive, the rumbles work fine, and I really liked the non-slip grips and the supplied additional thumb grips.
It doesn’t have a bad weight to it either and feels reasonably solid. For at least half the price of an official controller, this one isn’t bad at all and it’s well worth a look.
Great for the price, works perfectly
This controller is a decent alternative to the official controllers, especially if you’re on a budget. The double vibration and touchpad features work well enough to keep you in the game without any major hiccups. It feels good in the hands, although it might not match up to the original in terms of build quality. For casual gaming, it’s a solid choice, but hardcore gamers might notice the difference. Overall, it’s a practical option for those needing an extra controller without breaking the bank.
I really like that it comes with extra joystick covers.
Decent replacement controlle
All my original Dualshock 4s have developed issues so I have been replacing them with third party controllers. This one comes with instructions and accessories.
In hand, the controller has a slightly different feel to it than an official controller and doesn’t have any official branding, but it does have all the same functionality and is responsive enough. Though I have only used it for basic PS4 gaming, I’ve had no issues with the controller. The bluetooth connection hasn’t dropped out on me and the battery is a standard 600mAh so charging and playtime are what I would expect them to be.
There’s nothing unique about this controller and the battery is smaller than other third party controllers but I do like the look and feel and it’s been working fine for me so far, so overall I’m happy with this controller.
Works Well On PS4
AceGamer Wireless Controller for PS4.
I tested this on my PS4 Pro and had no issues with connecting, just use the supplied USB cable then once connected use wirelessly just like an official pad.
For a 3rd party controller, this felt pretty decent to use. The sticks were responsive and have a good, positive feel to them and the rumble featured worked as expected.
Obviously compared to an official controller you’ll notice subtle differences, but it boils down to how fussy you are and what games you use the controller for. This one for me is good on games that take a hammering so my official pads last longer.
Battery life for me was in excess of the 10 hours stated, so I’m happy with that.
It has quite a smart looking design and it came with a pair of thumb grips too, which is a nice touch.
All in all a decent spare to have and way cheaper than an official pad.
AceGamer Wireless Controller for PS4
Not a bad controller and works almost as well as an official controller. I found it easy to connect to PS4 Pro and just had to follow the included instructions. Easy to charge via USB and battery life seems good. A lot cheaper than an official controller and would be great for younger players (especially if they are prone to chucking them around!)
Pairs up and works well on PS4
This controller is replacing another after market PS4 controller and i must say it feels better and responds better.
In the box you get the controller, limited instructions, charging/connecting cable and thumb grips.
The controller was easy to connect with the PS4. I used the cable then once the controller was working i disconnected the cable and used wirelessly.
All buttons worked well and the sound quality wasn’t bad through my headset.
Great replacement for our other controller.
Basic but decent controller, nice skin but probably overpriced.
I’ve never used a genuine PS4 controller so can’t compare them and I’m using this on a PS5 or PS4 games.
It comes with a USB cable and a set of thumb grips.
The controller can be initially connected by the supplied USB type B cable and paired easily. After this it can be unplugged and works well. Alternatively you can pair it via Bluetooth from the controllers menu on PS5.
The sticks are positive and responsive, the buttons are responsive and seem to be decent quality as are the triggers.
The speaker is OK but I’ve not tested the microphone, the rubbles are good. Powers up the PS5 with PS/Home button fine.
The skin is very nice, with a blue lightning pattern.
The handles are rubberised which give good grip and it’s comfortable to hold.
I can’t comment on how long this will last as I’ve only just gotten it but it’s decent quality if basic given it’s price is higher than most other basic PS4 controllers.
Copy of a Ps4 controller desig
The controller is fine they have slightly changed the buttons so it isn’t a 100% rip off but it’s clear what it is inspired from.
The controller works for steam games not so much for the epic or ea launcher on a desktop.
