Very good polishing machine,did the job very good on polishing the headlamp,they look like new now and also removes some scratchings on my old aygo.
I want to know if i can change the back plate with a smaller one,let’s say 4 inch instead of 6 inch, anyone knows if possble?
Needed a dual action polisher buffer machine for reviving an old glass-fibre hull. Did not want to spend lots of money but did want a dual action one. This machine met the requirements, was not too heavy, had a reasonable length mains lead and a trigger lock.
Pleased with the results so good value for money.
So I’ve had to send this back because it has a fault and it’s now unavailable. But based on how it was before the fault I was very happy with it. I’m not going to score it down just because it has a fault as these things happen.
Used meguiars compound and polish with the pads and the results where very good.
The polishee itself stands out straight away. In black with a striking green funky logo, it looks professional and like it does the business.
It’s 42 cm long x 13 (at highest end) and has 2 handles: a straight one and a D-handle for ease of use.
I like how there is a long (3 m) power cord so you have a good reach around your car.
You can use this polisher for dealing with various tasks, and there are variable speeds to use depending on what you are doing. It’s got a powerful motor, but it’s not uncomfortable to use with the non-slip rubber handles. It’s easy to operate with a one-touch on/off button too and there’s a selection of different type of pads, (wool and polishing pads) as well as polishing bonnets included.
Attach the relevant pad to the 6″ plate by Velcro and then you select the speed. The low speeds are for waxing or buffering a shine, the mid speeds deal with polishing and cleaning and the high speeds are to get rid of any paint defects.
You can also use the lock speed button to set your choice.
As well as your car paintwork, you can do the headlights etc with this and you’re not just confined to cars either. You can use this on anything that needs polishing -even floors.
Also included with this set, as well as the main kit, you get microfibre towels, carbon brushes and some disposal gloves.
This works really well. We’ve used it several times over the last few weeks on both my car and my husband’s truck. It’s a comprehensive and very good quality set. Definitely recommend this.
It’s a well built dual action car polisher. Looks and feels good in hand. Speed is adjustable with the dial and easy to handle with the additional handles supplied in the box.
