Beautiful, well made toy
A good option from BigJigs, this is a fun balance game, quite easy to do with tactile silicone pieces and wooden pieces, you can play together with a little or they can play on their own. This looks good on display too. Priced right.
Educational and interactive
The vibrant colours and attention to detail immediately caught my little one’s attention of this toy. Not only is it visually appealing, but it’s also incredibly educational and interactive. Watching him learn how to balance the pieces has been both entertaining and enlightening. At 18.99, it seems like a reasonable investment for its quality, but only time will tell if it holds up in the long run. Overall, I recommend it for little learners!
Amazing stacking toy
This stacking toy is well made from high quality wood and silicon. Wooden elements are painted with non toxic high quality paint. It is suitable for child around age one. It is montessori inspired educational toy that is great value for money. This toy can grow with your child and at first silicon pieces are great for teething, then stacking skill practice hand – eye coordination and finally when you kid will be older you can practice shape, colours and counting. I highly recommend this toy.
Made from Eco Friendly materials
This has wodden/silicone moon and star pieces.
Great for kids to develop their fine motor skills and learn about balance.
I like the fact it’s made from eco-friendly materials.
Fantastic toy!
Perfect for skill developme
Challenging yet entertaining, this stacking toy has found its way into our daily playtime. The tactile pieces encourage fine motor skills, and it’s fascinating to see the concentration on little faces as they attempt to balance each piece. It’s not just fun; it subtly educates, improving coordination with every stack. The eco-friendly materials give peace of mind, knowing it’s safe for play and kind to the environment. A hit for both parent and child, doubling as a charming piece on the shelf when not in use.
Cute Bigjigs balancing se
Nice balancing moon and stars, with a mix of wooden and silicone shapes. Recommended age is 12 months plus, which I think is about right. The pieces are quite big so good for little hands to grip and try to balance on the rocking moon. Great for fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. My little toddler has enjoyed playing this with me.
Lovely
Firstly, ZERO plastic packaging. Thank you bigjigs!
Second, this is lovely. Similar to other stacking toys I have seen elsewhere, but with a superb attention to detail. Every piece of it looks wonderful and they are very tactile, being a mixture of wood and silicone. The wooden pieces have textures and patterns.
The minimum age is 12 months, which feels about right, although junior will enjoy watching someone else use it from a little earlier.
Another bigjigs winner.
Pricey
This is a really sweet toy, clearly good quality. The stars are made of a sort of soft silicone material and the there are wooden stars and moons as well. So there’s different textures to explore. I just can’t understand why these types of toys are so expensive. It’s not hours of fun but it kept my son entertained for a few minutes.
Moon & Star Eid, Ramadan or Christmas Gift Se
Bigjigs have only gotten better over the years in my opinion. We’ve been buying their goods for our own brood for many years.
This is a lovingly painted moon and star stacking toy which makes a perfect gift for Christmas, Ramadan or Eid. The quality of the pieces are very much at the highly crafted end. The pieces are pleasingly chunky for little hands. there are a mixture of silicon pieces and wooden pieces. It goes unsaid that each piece is smooth, well finished and feels suitably weighty. The edges are smooth and rounded and the pieces stack together neatly – it takes a little attention to detail for the little ones to master balancing all the shapes on the rocking moon which keeps the interest of our little ones.
This is definitely a set which can be passed down from sibling to sibling. The lovely pastel shades makes the set easy on the eye. it is clear this set has been designed with passion and excited with finesse.
5 stars
Balancing toy with a mix of wood and silicone pieces
Beautifully packaged toy (no plastic).
The balancing base is wooden, as are the moons and 2 stars. Then there are some silicone stars too, which is actually really good as they have a bit more grip to them to make it easier for little ones to balance them on the rocking base.
The size is also good, it is much bigger than other balance/stacking toys we have, and again this makes it much easier to play with for small hands.
A really nice toy, and its packaged so nicely ti would also make an excellent gift.
Balancing game
My husband and I recently played a similar game on a coffee table using tetris like plastic elements on a white little wobbly platform.
Our boy who is only 18m old desperately wanted to take part but just couldn’t do it as it is way too difficult for him at that age. Too small elements and way too sensitive to knock over.
When I’ve seen this game, he just had to have it!
We played for about an hour last night, the focus and the puffy lips were incredible coming from my young man! Felt like I was falling in love with him for a millionth time!
I like that the elements are a mixture of wooden ones and silicone as it provides you with different textures and how things can be stacked.
All bits are finished well using child friendly materials only and the silicone parts are teething friendly! They’ll last even for the most furious teether from my experience with the products from this brand already.
Due to the quality of the materials and their durability, it is worth the 18.99 in my opinion and it is a very giftable toy.
5*!
Bigjigs Toys Moon Balance Stacke
This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. Below is my own real-world experience of using it.
I would say that the quality is excellent – the wooden pieces are all neatly finished, with no rough or splintered edges, and have a chunky, ergonomic feel (which is great for small hands). The silicone pieces are soft and fairly flexible, but sturdy, when used as part of the game. The colours and design are all true to life.
In terms of versatility, there are so many ways that you could stack the pieces, and each one tends to fit well with the next. Whilst playing, I soon learned that stacking too many items on one side will cause the moon to rock and fall over, so I could see how it would be challenging for a child. I actually gave the set to my own little ‘moon’ fan, who became very focused with it. It definitely inspires problem-solving and creativity.
Overall, a good value item.
Fun, very high quality, cute looking toy
This looks just as good as the pictures. Everything is really high quality. There are no rough edges or corners, the parts are nice and big, and the silicone is firm but squeezable. The pieces are not too difficult to balance, but as you can see in my video, it is possible to stack it wrong so pieces tip over and fall off. The moons and stars are all durable and don’t feel like they’d be damaged falling off the table or anything like that.
It’s a fun little game to play and looks great.
Beautiful Toy. Traditional Meets Mode
This is a beautiful toy all round – the packaging is great (all eco-friendly card & paper, lovely colours), the materials are tactile and the colours are muted and stylish.
The main moon balancing section is wooden, along with some of the shapes. The remaining shapes are a soft yet tough rubber/silicone. The silicone shapes add grip to the stacking process and are tactile and fun to squeeze (and would be good for a teething toddler to gnaw on too!).
This toy would make a nice gift too, along with other sets in the Bigjigs range that coordinate well.
Adorable and educational
The Moon Balance Stacker is a charming little toy. Sturdy pieces with no sharp edges and can be educational for dexterity and shape recognition. It can also double as a nursery decoration.
Really nice quality skills building toy
This is a lovely quality toy set: very well made soft and smooth silicone materials that are both durable and sturdy, and also aesthetically pleasing. The colours and design are engaging enough for the little ones, and not too gaudy and bright for parents who prefer more neutral designs. The game itself is a simple but clever balancing concept where the child must balance all the shapes on the “boat” structure. Lends itself to imagination and story telling too, and building creative skills. Mostly though it’s for building logic and encouraging children to problem solve using logic and dexterity. It is engaging enough for solo play and the set I received is safe for use with no problematic small parts or sharp areas that could pose a risk, but obviously do check over yours first. Both very happy with it!
