Its works but the experience can be a little frustrating
I have been testing the camera for a few weeks and I have discovered several things I like about the camera and a few things that I think could definitely be improved:
The things I do like:
1) The camera interface for the most part is relatively easy to use;
2) There are several ways the camera can be mounted, including wall mount, clip-on and tripod mounted;
3) They have included almost everything you need in the box including a 64Gb SD card.
Things I didn’t like:
1) Once I turned it on and closed the back up, I really couldn’t tell if it was working or not other than opening the back and checking the recording;
2) It takes a lot of batteries, I was using 4 AA batteries for normal use and it can take up to 12 for long term photo projects;
3) The image quality could be better for 1080p.
The first time I used it, I wasn’t sure if it was on and I stopped it to check the recording which is irritating because I had to start a new timelapse recording again. A few times I thought the camera was working after I closed the back only to find out several hours later that it wasn’t. When I opened it up to check on it, the view screen was on and it was frozen on the count down timer, so the recording never started and the batteries were low because the screen had been on the entire time. I’m not sure why that is happening or quite how to troubleshoot it.
Overall, I would like the camera better if it used rechargeable batteries and you had some better way to monitor the status of the recording session. I will keep playing with the camera some more but its kind of like ‘plug and pray’, you hope its on and actually recording.
This is a pretty good time lapse camera. The resolution isn't very great on the images, but it's good enough for fun but not good enough for professional work. You can adjust the time settings on this to capture images every x minutes/hours. It's really nice for watching clouds, stars, animals in the yard, things grow, etc. We keep moving it and trying it out in various places.

Not Bad - Easy to Use (Once you read the directions)
This isn’t a bad Timelapse camera. I’ve had it for over two months now. I found it tough to set up when I first got it and ended up pushing it off to the side. I finally sat down with some more time on my hands to read the directions more closely and relieved that the issues I first had were more my lack of paying attention.
The use of this isn’t intuitive but easy enough now that I’ve used it a few times.
I’m happy with the picture and video quality. I love that I can put a bunch of batteries in this and run it for days and days. Captured some cool video of some flowers in my garden that started to bloom as soon as the temperatures on the East Cost of the US got above freezing. With the extra batteries, I wouldn’t have been able to keep this set up for days at a time.
I’m happy with this and look forward to capture some nice time lapse when I go on vacation at the beach this spring.
Not Bad
This particular camera boasts an impressive battery life that’s hard to match with anything else I’ve used. While programming it may present a bit of a challenge, there are plenty of resources available (such as YouTube videos) to help you figure it out. One notable feature of the device is its ability to store a large number of images for a time-lapse on the card. They can be very enjoyable to watch back over.
In terms of durability, In more typical conditions, the device has held up incredibly well. It has been mounted on my garden fence pole for a fair few weeks and is still running on its original set of batteries. This is especially impressive given the device’s exposure to the extreme cold weather of the winter.
I set it up for a two-day time-lapse capturing an image every 30 seconds. The camera performed the operation perfectly, and the night vision stood out. The garden is usually very dark at night, but this camera captured vivid, bright, and colourful pictures even at 2 AM. The camera is perfect for any time-lapse or trail camera needs.
Moreover, I suggest applying a little bit of RainX windshield washer fluid on a soft cloth or paper towel and wiping it on the lens. This application will help prevent rain from getting on the lens, and the images will remain clear and sharp, even in rainy weather. The video format used in this case is AVI, which is important to keep in mind if you plan to convert the video later.
While this format is useful for recording, it may not provide the best compression for 1080. So, if you’re looking for high-quality video, you may want to consider something else. On the positive side, the water housing is great and can withstand long periods of recording
Overall, this camera is a good option for recording videos, but it does have a few quirks that you’ll need to keep in mind. With some practice and the right accessories, you should be able to get great results.
