I have a lot of computer peripherals that still work great but connect via USB-A plugs. This adapter allows me to use them as needed without overly cluttering up my workspace, due to the long cable. Data transfer and charging speeds are fine. The cable itself feels strong and durable.

Most electrical connections have the same slim coated cables. Not this one. It feels heavy and durable. I wanted a short length, not 6 feet of cable, so be aware of the length. So far, so good. I like it.

This cable works as designed. I was able to connect my camera to an accessory, and it was recognized easily. The plug is a little tight, but I was able to get it attached, and it stayed that way. I only needed to go a short distance, so the 6-inch length was perfect!! It came packaged nicely, and is a great cable for the price.

We use this adapter in our car that only has USB C outlets. This adapter allows us to use the old USB A charging cables for our phones as well as other accessory chargers. The short length is perfect since it is not very obtrusive and you can easily/quickly find the end to plug/unplug your usb a charger cable.

USB-C to USB adapter transmits data as fast as the cable without the adapter. Haven’t noticed any lag. What I really like about the adapter is that it’s easy to see and find! I’ve had the tiny adapter tips that do the same thing and I can never find them! They tend to get misplaced and stuck on a random cord. This adapter is just long enough that it’s easy to spot and find. And easy to handle. Plus and Plus!

The female USB-A connector felt too tight at first. After I used it a few times it improved a little, but it is still extra tight.
Overall, it works well and I will use it for my work.

It is also compatible with a flash drive, a keyboard, hub, mouse, etc. The listing also states that it withstands more than 10,000 + bending tests, and the braided nylon jacket adds extra durability. I don't think I will bend it more than 10,000 times. LOL! But it's good to know it will last. I am very happy with this adapter. I might have to order more!

This helped to save my old, beloved (cheap) computer speakers. Plugged them in, then the cable to my computer and they worked. I’ve had these speakers across three computers and would miss them if I had to give them up. Great cable.

This adapter is rated for 5Gbps data speed, while some others that Amazon sells are rated for 10Gbps. If you have a newer higher-end device that supports the higher speed, you should buy the faster adapters since they don't cost much more. This cable is thick and has a nice braided outer jacket to resist abrasions. All the plugs and ports fit well...tight connections.

This short dongle is made to convert a USB-A cable end to a USB-C thereby allowing you to use cables in different applications. This permits you to limit the number of chargers you normally would carry around to accomplish different charging needs. For instance, you can use a C to C charger to charge an older set of earphones that run on micro-USB charging as well as charging your phone that is a USB-C input using this short cable. As time goes on more and more chargers (like my travel charger) are coming with multiple C but only one type A connection. This allows you to maximize the use you get out of your multi output chargers or battery packs.
The unit itself seems to be very well made, with a nice sturdy feel to it and has a braided wire covering.
Solid. Good USB-C connector, very snug USB-A connector. OTG and 5Gbps speeds work.
I wanted a better-quality OTG cable for my phones and this one has worked well so far.
Solid construction. A little stiff. Metal connector housings. USB-A socket very snug, but usable. USB-C plug decently snug so won’t fall out, clicks in nicely. OTG on phone worked. USB 3.0 5Gbps speeds worked.
0.16V drop at 2A (well within USB spec). USB cable tester shows all relevant lines connected.
Minor issue: connectors were rotated with respect to each other so one won’t lay flat.
