These are great, the fact that they “pick up”(catch fire) nice and easily is a real bonus.
I find it incredibly quick, and easy to light one of these, non my video I do use a lighter to just touch one and it ignites, but since then I’ve also used a farro rod and lit one, just to see if it would, and impressively it did, which is great.
The burn time is approximately 8-9 minutes in my experience, and they kick off a good solid flame, more than enough to get any fire started in my opinion, I’ve already put a few in my camping gear, and a few in a tin for the garden, to make it easier for me to start fires when I’m burning the garden waist.
These are great because they don’t weigh much, they’re individually small, and they just work easily.
    Great job.

I really like that these are sustainably sourced.

They light well and I love how they are odourless as I don’t like the smell of paraffin.

As you only need 1 or 2 to light a fire, I think they offer excellent value. Recommended

These firelighters are fantastic. I only needed one to start my fire pit. The fire was going withing minutes, and with 50 in the pack, they represent good value for money. The best thing about these firelighters is that they are odourless, and made of entirely natural rolls of wood shavings. A perfect ecological way to get the firepit/BBQ going with no unpleasant smell, and no extra environmental impact. A very nice product.

I love these, they are natural so have no strong odours when burning, are easy to store in the compact box they came in. They ignite easily and 1 is enough to get our burner going with the other kindling then larger bits of wood then logs or coals. The fact they are moisture resistant is great when we want to take some camping with us, or just when wanting to light our Kelly kettle for a brew when kayaking, so even if our kit gets damp, we can still light our fire. Highly recommended. Not the cheapest out these, but if you don’t light fires very often and don’t want a huge stock this is a great compact pack.

50 pack of natural firelighters that can be used for open fires, multi fuel stoves, barbeque cookers and pizza ovens. They’re a natural odourless firelighter that are eco friendly and both moisture and water resistant.

With them being natural wood they are perfect for use in cooking devices, I’ve been using them to light wooden pellets in my Pizza Oven and they’ve been effective, staying lit long enough to ignite the pellets. They’re very reasonably priced for the quality and id happily recommend them.

These firelights do light easily but are very expensive. I use four along with small dry wood logs or newspaper and small logs to light my wood burner so they are replacing the kindling.
They will be useful in the Chiminea as quick to light, also the bar b que as no noticeable smell.

I love these natural firelighters and need only one to get my log burner going beautifully.

What is so nice is that they are odourless, natural to touch and don’t leave the room smelling of paraffin like their white paraffin block counterparts from the supermarket. And I don’t end up with bits of paraffin block stuck under my nails afterwards, which I hate!

This is a natural, environmentally friendly and inspiring product that is so easy and pleasant to use. These firelighters come at a very affordable price and leave no unpleasant fumes behind. I’m very happy to recommend them wholeheartedly.

It is winter and cold so our daily routine includes lighting the fire in the living room before taking the baby through. Decent fite lighters can mean the difference between a roaring fire or a cold pile of sticks.

We normally use the traditional white block fire lighters made with kerosene which are easy to use but decided to give these a try. Normally we would use 1 of the traditional white blocks to light a fire, but we found we had to use more of these eco firelighters to get the fire going properly. Typically 2 or 3 lined end to end so it burns through 1 then the next.

These arrive in a flat cardboard box that opens with the entire side. It’s ok for storage but on more than 1 occasion opening the box resulted in firelighters good ng flying. It would be far better if the box opened at the end.

The firelighters are simply wood strands woven into a rope and soaked with wax, then cut into chunks roughly 1 and a bit inches long, and no wider than a thumb. There’s no mention of what wax is used but I’ll guess soy wax as it’s too soft for bees wax and doesn’t smell like petroleum wax.

These are easy to light but don’t catch as easily or as quickly as the white block type ones. They also don’t seem to burn as long (hence using more). But if you are concerned about the environmental impact they are a good alternative. Value wise you are paying for the sustainability factor. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice eco alternative, but you do need more.

These are fantastic! After using chemical firelighters for my woodburner for years, I have made the switch to these fantastic natural firelighters. I did have to use a few the first time I used them but they stayed lit for long enough to get my fire going. They arrived in a fairly small flat box, all neatly lined up, and that is where they remain stored.

I wish I had tried these years ago, and I am most certainly will be repurchasing these for sure!
