Had back surgery and been house bound for twelve months.
The best exercise tool you can buy in my opinion.
Looks simple but can do so many exercises. Look at YouTube videos.

Bought this to improve mobility and assist with resistance training for cartillage repair: I’ve had some issues with my knees and hips and need to strengthen in more planes of motion rather than just the linear ones. Doing slow body weight squats on this board forces stabilising muscles into action, forcing everything to work in synergy as you strive to counter balance the constant small and eratic directional changes. It’s perfect for one legged balance moves too for the same reason.
Strong plywood contruction (I’m 100kg/16 stone and no bending or creaking at all) and a good grippy surface (no way you’re going to slide off it). Everything is symmetrical and correctly centered (some other brands have been reviewed as being off center, but not this one) and it looks good for what it is (even the logo looks tidy, clean, and to the point). Great price too. Highly recommended.

I wasn’t expecting a great deal from this as it is at the cheap end of the market, however it is sturdy and seems to be well made. A fun way to improve balance and helpful to your core muscles. Interesting that the oldies in our family seem to be better at it than the youngsters! Use it on a carpet or, of course, be careful if you have it on a hard surface where it is more lightly to slip.

I’ve got it under my desk, and it means I’m moving my feet all the time, every time I shift position my feet move on it to keep my balance. I’m not standing on it, it’s just a footrest but it works really well. I do think I probably should’ve paid a bit more for one that had adjustable height because it’s a little bit low but compared to having your feet not moving all day. This works really well don’t think you have to spend a lot of money on these. This one cost me 15 and it seems just as sturdy and well-made as all the others

I got this for my husband who has terrible balance. For normal people it’s just a flat surface to stand on but he wobbles round like a jelly and it’s hilarious

It’s good quality I think. The rough surface makes it easy for your socks to grip the surface. I got it to improve my balance and ankle flexibility and strength. I have some balance difficulty due to a disability but I had noticed significant improvement from months of core strength exercises and thought a balance board was the next step. At first I could barely balance for more than a few seconds, now I’m starting to do squats while keeping balanced in just a week of use. It’s kind of fun. It feels like a game not like exercise.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy physio recommended I use a balance board to strengthen and regain movement after a double break to an ankle. I’m carrying a lot of weight currently and I struggled to find something that was suitable for larger individuals. This is rated as suitable for persons up to 150kg. I can confirm that product is sturdy and well made and I don’t feel like it break under my weight when I use it. product comes with a leaflet with a QR code on it, which takes you to a website with a pdf download containing many exercises suitable for balance board workouts. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery good piece of kit, well built, helps with balance and lower leg conditioning, very hard to master, but that is the point! Would recommend for anyone over 50.

Great delivery time and good service from supplier.

I am a clumsy person, it’s not great, I walk into walls and doors, it’s a real issue, I have used this a couple of times and it has shown me how bad my balance actually is. I don’t use it a lot but it’s fun to try and balance on. Would recommend to those who want to up their balance game.. awaits on it are always fun!

I bought this as when I go to kickboxing they have one as well and took theirs home with me to practice with. So I bought one as I want to practice my Balance as when I go skiing again in January. This one is a lot harder than the kickboxing one as it’s more rounder on the bottom. So it will build up your core muscles and my leg muscles as I try and do squats with it as well. Haven’t been skiing for over 3 years because of covid, so need all the practise I have.

Sturdy, has grip and perfectly wobbly! I needed a balance board for knee physio so was wondering between this one and a cheaper plastic alternative. Tried to save a few bucks and got the plastic board but it had a small dent in the middle and basically would stay flat. Totally defeated the purpose. Bought this one after anyways and ended up just wasting money on that first board that’s just collecting dust now. Don’t hesitate, this board will last you a very very long time!
