These are fantastic! Sound quality is very good and no lag between the video/music and the audio. Lovely design with the case, very different to others. However, we have lost one as they are so lightweight it fell out of the ear never to be seen again!
If you care about sound quality, these earbuds are a game-changer. The clarity is exceptional — I’m hearing details in my favorite songs that I never noticed before. The noise cancellation is customizable, perfect for focusing or tuning out the world. Comfortable, intuitive controls, and a stylish case these have quickly become my go-to for everything audio.
Earbuds have been in use during my daily commutes and while working from home. The sound quality is sharp, bringing out nuances in music I hadn’t noticed with previous pairs. The noise control is effective, making transitions from focus to awareness smooth. They’ve held up well to daily use, with battery life keeping pace with long days. The touch controls are intuitive after a brief adjustment period.
Well made, the quality is there however could be a bit cheaper and design could be simpler. As i have tried many others great brand headphones and I do believe I have a fair comparison must say that price does not exactly match the quality of my his product either sound it gives. It is not bad but definitely there is a room for improvement though
I must say from the start I’m quite a bit disappointed with these earphones. For the price they are I was expecting more. I found them awkward to get out of the case for starters. The case felt cheap and earbuds not much better. Very basic instructions are included and I found I’d paired one earbud but other one didn’t work. Redid the scan and got both working. The buttons are quite sensitive but once I got used to it it was fine. The overall sound is very good but again I had to play with EQ to get the desired sound I wanted. ANC was very good. The reason I’m put off with these earbuds is I have a pair that are half the price and look and feel better. The sound quality is about the same but I didn’t have to play around so much with EQ on my other pair. Charging and battery life are exceptional so points for that. Overall for these earbuds are good but could be better priced

Creative’s Aurvana Ace 2 wireless earbuds boast innovative xMEMS drivers for crisp, detailed high frequencies, paired with dynamic drivers that produce deep and agile bass. They’re comfortable, lightweight, and have very good battery life; however, it must be said that battery life falls marginally short of the official claims. The earbuds offer both adaptive noise cancellation and an ambient mode for increased awareness. The adaptive noise cancellation is good but competing brands can better it for less money.
Sound quality is very impressive when the right performance conditions are met. At low to moderate listening levels across a range of devices, listening to the Aurvana at approximately 60% or less of maximum volume is underwhelming. Once you hit 65% plus, the earbuds suddenly come to life, and the sound quality improves dramatically. This trait isn’t necessarily unique to the Aurvana but the difference is more pronounced with these earbuds than with any other model I’ve ever listened to.
First, you NEED to download the app to get these earbuds to sound great! They sound AWFUL right out of the box, so you will need to do this. Why the instructions don’t have a QR code, is beyond me. Nor do the instructions mention anything about the app! Why?!?! I have included a photo of what the app looks like in the App Store because it is almost impossible to find if you try searching for it. If you can’t find it, you will need to Google on your phone the name of the ear buds, which is Creative Aurvana Ace 2. From there, click on the official Creative weblink, and it will take you to the page where the direct link can be found for both Apple and Android devices. Download it from there, select EQUALIZER, and it will take you to all the sound profiles to choose from, which sound lousy right off the bat. You will need to go through all the presets and change the bass and treble on each one to really get the sound to shine. I can’t recommend a certain sound profile with the bass and treble settings because it is very subjective for each person.
Sound is great once you download the app, and customize each sound profile. I love that there is so much customization from ear tip size, and all the other customizable options to choose from on the app. On the app, under CUSTOM BUTTONS, you can select the double tap and triple tap options for the earbuds. For example, if I want to double tap the right or left side of my earbuds to have a certain option, I would select it there. The options to choose from are PLAY/PAUSE, PREVIOUS TRACK, NEXT TRACK, AMBIENT CONTROL, and VOICE ASSIST. I haven’t used the ambient control yet. The ambient control is supposed to make it so you do not have to take your earbuds out in order to hear someone talk. Voice assist summons Siri, on iPhones. I don’t know how that works on Android phones because I have never owned one. Also, you can search on YouTube to watch review videos, and learn much more from users who have used these functions. Also, I have gone through countless third party air buds, including all the Apple AirPod versions, and these earbuds sound so much better than those. I refuse to own another pair of AirPods because some of mine didn’t even last a year before they wouldn’t charge anymore. Waste of money! Also, you can download from the app on your phone for the latest firmware versions, as Creative comes out with new ones. I can only guess Creative puts out improved drivers from time to time to possibly make these sound even better, or to add more options on the app, although I could be wrong on that. They also come with three different ear tips to customize them for your ear size. Another great point is they are semi-comfortable when sleeping on your side. I wish they would be more comfortable for sleeping for me because I always wear my ear buds when sleeping at night so I can listen to podcasts, and audio books, Also, sound quality on the mic is very good. Callers tell me I sound normal, and not like I am on earbuds.
As mentioned previously, the instructions are horrible and DO NOT tell you to download the app, nor is there a QR code to scan in order for your phone to take you to the point where you can download the app. Also, another con, and very important to note is, these come with a clear, transparent sticky film under the stems which are very difficult to see. The instructions DO NOT tell you those are even there. Because these are very difficult to see, if you don’t remove them, your ear buds WILL NOT pair. I tried many, many times to pair to my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and they wouldn’t pair. My husband also tried on his Android phone, and nothing. Once I removed those, they paired flawlessly. Also, once the earbuds are fully charged, the battery life in the earbuds as advertised, isn’t great compared to other earbuds at this price point, and even the lower priced ones. It’s not a deal breaker, but is definitely something to note. Another thing that is kind of a pain, is at least on my ear buds, is when you double tap, triple tap, or long tap, the earbuds don’t always respond to that. I feel like I am beating a drum to try and get them to respond about half of the time. Also, one feature I would like to hear is a small, audible beep when tapping a command, with the exception of voice assist because the music pauses when Siri comes on. Also, with the ambient control option, a voice does come on to tell you when it is off and on. Beeps for the volume control WOULD be nice so I can tell how many notches the volume is changing, so I can fine tune it. Also, I wish there was a tap option to make a call, and as of now, I have to pick up my phone to manually make a phonecall. Another issue is, when calling someone on my phone, the volume goes way down, so I have to really turn up the volume on the earbuds, or manually on my phone, in order to hear the caller. I really wish the volume would be consistent to the volume level already selected. That part, at least for me, really sucks to be honest.
All in all, despite the cons, I am happy with these earbuds, and they are the best ones of the many I have owned. So far, as the sound is great, and I love all the customization options. I gave this review four stars because of the instructions being horrible and not telling you to download the app, as well as not telling you to remove the clear, transparent sticky film, as stated previously in this review. I also gave it four stars because of the issues listed above.

I was not impressed with the instructions for these as firstly for the pairing, just opening the case did not set them into pairing mode. Neither did resetting the case with button on the bottom. Something that happened when I had the buds in my hand got them into pairing mode and then the rest of the setup was quick. The instructions also cover tapping the buds to control them but where to tap them seemed to be the issue and I usually ended up knocking them out of my ear.
When they were in my ear the sound was clear but it seemed to lack the width of the sound field I get from my phone manufacturers buds. There is also not quite as much base. The sound cancellation seemed to work well but sometimes I got what sounded like feedback when putting the bud in my ear.
The other issue I had which ever sized rubber piece I used on the buds was that they were not secure in my ear. They were too easily displaced and I worried about losing them. If I did lose them they are not trackable like my original buds. It might be that the stalks on the buds prevent the tip from going deep enough into my ear canal.
Those headphones are good quality but not the bet I’ve tried. They fit your ears nicely due to the silicone pieces. The price is a little bit on the high side but they are nice headphones overall and do the job.
These Bluetooth earphones have excellent quality bass and crystal clear sound. The buds are comfy in the ears and are definitely worth the higher price point for the quality of sound it produces. The earbuds do have a strange quirk, which is a high-pitched squeak when taking the headphones in or out. I’m not sure why this is happening, But it doesn’t affect performance, Just a little annoying and everyone in the room can hear the loud high-pitched frequency. Thankfully, it only lasts a second, But i thought it could be something to improve on.
I have been living with these Creative Aurvana earbuds for about a week now and as well as some downsides there are, in my opinion, some strong upsides to. The most important of these being the sound quality. Conversely, the instruction leaflet is very light on detail and does not even seem to mention the useful fact that there is a Creative app that gives easier access to some of these earbuds’s features. There is also the quality of the noise cancelling functions. I am afraid these are merely average. So how you view these earbuds is going to depend a bit on your requirements and how you use them. For me sound quality is the most important factor and I will not generally be using them in an environment where the noise cancelling will become an issue. That is at home. I will review on that basis but try to point out any wider issues as I go along.
I review several pairs of earbuds every year and have a set routine and play list that I use in an attempt to provide more accurate comparisons. However, there is bound to be some subjectivity involved. For me, these buds immediately set themselves apart from the cheaper end of the market. The build quality is good although the looks are perhaps a matter of taste. It is worth experimenting with the supplied silicon tips to get the right size and best fit for you. The sound is clear and very detailed with a good broad soundstage. Again it is worth experimenting with the volume on the buds to get the best balance of sound. Somewhere between 50% and 75% seemed to work best for me. If the volume is jacked up to 100% and with less well recorded tracks some unpleasant distortion can creep in. Stay on the middle ground and everything is mostly peachy. With good quality, hi-res recordings these buds perform exceptionally well. Yes the price/quality equation may be an issue for some but in absolute terms these buds sound very good. The clarity and general lack of any distortion or treble fizz is very welcome, as is the bass extension and the sweet midrange. They seem to suit most genres of music from classical to heavy metal. I particularly like the way they handle those intimate, closely miked folk and singer/ songwriter tracks. You can hear every detail down to the string plucks and vocalist’s breathing.
I run through my playlist and I am delighted to hear all the subtle details and variations of pitch that cheaper buds often just gloss over. Whether this is a good thing may be a matter for debate but personally I value the subtlety and analytical nature. These characteristics can sometimes go hand in hand with a lack of soul or sense for the flow of the music but in the case of these buds I think Creative have got the balance about right. There is deep double bass extension on the Bowles Brothers ‘Beguine Again’ track and a sweet rendition of the high vocals on ‘Game of Chess’. The Brothers in Arms album by Dire Straits is beautifully recorded and these buds reproduce it in all its glory. Similarly, all the subtlety and shades of volume are there in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro.
Whilst it is always worth shopping around and more importantly auditioning audio equipment, especially in this price bracket, I would give these Creative buds a cautious recommendation. Similar sound quality is available for less cash and also better noise cancelling. However, they do have something special. The way they engage the listener and combine that with a superbly detailed soundstage, is a rare thing. The sound is extremely well balanced with no obvious weaknesses. It is also spacious and open. There just seems to be more space around each instrument. It is easy to pick out and place the musicians and hear all those extra nuances. On the downside the instructions need to be better and at least mention the App. Whether you love these earbuds will depend on you and your requirements. For me they are definitely worth an audition and should be on your shortlist for buds at this price. Finally, at the time of writing there is a generous voucher discount available that makes these earbuds even better value.
For reference price point of review was approx 130 after discount, firmware updated to 3.4.240228.1020.
Im putting these up against my AirPod Pros v1 using an iPhone as source with noise protection on.
First test I tried was noise cancellation, with a TV set to inaudible on the Ace 2 I then at same volume levels tied the AirPods and could hear more on them, so win for the Ace 2 I thought but then when typing this review could hear the typing more on these than the Air Pods so seems both have their issues so a bit of a draw there, but they do a better job than the other reviews seem to imply (though this could be due to firmware changes)
Tested a valid range of music from 70’s synth, Trance , general Pop. Winner here for me the Ace 2 mostly due to crisper sounds and just a better range throughout, with dance tracks especially picking up better bass tones than the pods. Subjective I know but they just sounded more cleaner.
Fitting wise again I preferred the Air 2 but I think thats due to them being slightly lighter (well per my scales they were 4-5g pods showing 5-6g the middle insert sizing was about .5mm smaller – fall out ability seemed that both were on par.
App has a pretty decent equaliser, anc controls and way to modify what tap functionality but pretty sparse apart from that – help was a push to website which is a bit rubbish.
Downsides
Switching back from pods to these and back again left me once with the left headphone dead making no noise, I had to place them both back in the case to get it back again, but I concede its not normal to be doing this.
App seems to get confused about how the headphones are connected to the phone and occasionally throws you to settings where there is nothing to change.
I managed to get initially a feed back loop squeal from them when I had them in my hand but couldn’t recreate afterwards so could of been firmware fixed.
All in all your getting a really good set of wireless headphones with these….
Great quality and it looks awesome! Clear and clean sound no lag, I was impressed earbuds at this price could sound that great, it connects reliably and same performance as my Bose, not much bad to say!
