Works for me
I was sleeping badly and thought I’d try this and it’s worked so far. It feels a bit strange using it the first night but after that it started to feel a bit more normal. My wife’s a lot happier too!
Sleeping perfectio
The item saved my marriage!
My snoring was keeping my wife awake – she has problems getting back to sleep after she’s woken up, causing her to not sleep much, or get up at 2 or 3 am constantly, even after banishing me to the guest room, it didn’t work.
The mouth guard is comfortable, and fits well. Following the instructions were simple and easy, and the fit is great.
There are some issues, it’s difficult to swallow (if you have the skill where you can swallow with your mouth open, that won’t be an issue), the clip is quite sharp, but is ok once you’re used to it.
Overall, a great item, worth the money, comfortable and works very well.
Def recommend!
Firstly, this is by far the most comfortable of the devices I have tried! I have tried three other styles/brands before I came across Difiney. I have a smaller than average mouth and this one fits just right! I love that it can come apart which makes it easy to clean, and again, very comfortable! My partner is also very happy and impressed with it as sleeping has become MUCH quieter 🙂
Secondly, the customer service is AMAZING! I had to get a replacement so followed the instructions on the warranty card included in the box. I sent them an email and got a response within an hour, and a new device two days later.
Yes, it is a little pricier than sone other models and brands, but I (and my well slept partner) think it is totally worth it!
Stop snoring - wake up rested.
Feels like a large retainer in the mouth at first and takes a few days to get use to, but it stops you snoring and helps you feel wake up rested and hassle free.
Works
It is a bit awkward at first and definitely not something you can be discreet wearing but once you get used to it I would say I prefer it to other snoring aids I have gotten. Also stops teeth grinding so added plus lol
Bit bulky but works
Mostly stopped my snoring but was slightly uncomfortable and bulky and I have a large mouth so could imagine it being worse for others. Would suggest wearing it during the evenings to get used to it before bed
It works!
This device worked from the first night! It’s quite bulky so I didn’t know if I would find it comfortable but no problems at all. No snoring (or a tiny gentle amount occasionally) and I’m sleeping so much better and it’s also protecting my teeth (I grind my teeth in my sleep). One star off because I had to replace it sooner than expected as I felt it had worn out. (That might be the teeth grinding!) However it’s so worth it that I didn’t mind.
Difficulty keeping it i
1st use worked perfectly, finally got a good night’s sleep. After purchase I recieved a very dodgy letter through the post supposedly from the company that supplied it offering me another for free, very suspicious
Good to Go
This mouth pieces has stoped me snoring at night, I’ve bought other diveces before, but this one is the best one I’ve bourght so far. This is very comfortable to use and the best of all for me, its still i my mouth in the mornings when i wake up and not on the pillow like the other ones.
Seems to work.
I am a bad snorer and sleep apnoea suffer who has tried many different anti-snoring products.
Having used this device for a week now I think I can tentatively say that it works.
My snoring has reduced from an average of four hours a night to about one hour per night as measured on the sleep monitoring app Sleep Cycle.
I have used mouth-guards before but I think that the mistake I made was to immediately put them in the high setting pulling the lower jaw forward, this was a recipe for discomfort and failure. This time I started by trying to keep my bite in its natural position and then slowly got used to having something in my mouth all night. This has taken about three or four nights to get used to and my snoring decreased by about 50% during this period.
I have now started to notch the setting up a bit and my snoring has now reduced to about one hour. This one hour I think was the time when I spat the mouthguard out in my sleep.
I’m still not 100% convinced that this is a long-term solution because it is uncomfortable to have something in your mouth all night, but I am slowly getting used to it. My teeth do ache for a short while in the morning and my bite is slightly off for about half an hour but it slowly settles back into it its normal position.
Product works well.
I have used a few similar products which unfortunately have not helped with the snoring. This product to be honest I wasn’t expecting much but I thought it would be worth a try since Amazon offer returns.
Setup was easy. The first night I was disappointed to hear that the snoring was still there. I made some adjustments in the settings and tried again. If it didn’t work this time I would return it.
Next morning I was told there was no snoring. And the next few days again positive results.
I am happy with the product. It takes a little getting used to. But not much. Just the mouth guard while sleeping. Airflow is very good, it feels natural.
Breathing and sleeping position has improved.
No more complaints about snoring
Game changer with one very slight issue.
Well I didn’t expect it to be this good..
This has allowed me and my wife to get the rest we both need. For me it’s allowed me to wake up feeling rested, for my wife it’s allowed her to not be woken up 15 times a night with my infuriating snoring..
I highly recommend this product..
Is it expensive? Yes.
Does it work? Yes
I have a had a couple of mouth guards but nothing worked.
I do have one very slight issue and that the mouth guard can adjust in your mouth, but it’s very simple and quick to adjust it back.
Overall great product that actually works
Excellent customer service but device didn't work for me
The device didn’t work for me, I followed the instructions and slowly built up to a full night’s sleep. However my teeth were very sensitive so I stopped using straight away. I contacted the customer service to give them my feedback about the device and received a full refund. Might be worth a try but didn’t work for me.
I have to confess I was a little skeptical when I first encountered this product but reading around it seemed to make sense. My snoring is due to my lower jaw becoming relaxed when sleeping and my tongue subsequently partially blocking my airway making me sound like a freight train ! I have been using a snoring recording/tracking app called SnoreLab and have attached images before and after using the mouth piece. So this is not my opinion of it working – it actually does work and the evidence is there. Going through the soundbites recorded from the app what noise is left is just me moving about and a trip to the loo. The mouthpiece does take a little while to get used to – obviously you have a plastic thing in your mouth. I found I got used to it very quickly and had no ill effects the next morning. I set mine to 2mm lower jaw forward. I am not sure I will use it all the time as generally I sleep on my own but when I am with someone or sharing a room I will be using for sure.
It actually works
My wife and I both bought one of these as we both keep each other awake at different times with our snoring.
The product does work – although we do still both snore it is now massively quieter, sufficiently so that the other can sleep without disturbance.
The product is gradually adjustable so it is possible that over time the snoring will be eliminated completely with some tweaking.
My only quibble is that it is rather uncomfortable – hopefully we will get used to it and this will improve
+ Cheaper than a custom fitted mouthpiece
+ very effective at reducing the volume (both in terms of sound and amount) of snoring
+ Easy to shape and clean
– Takes some getting used to RE discomfort
I bought mine several months ago but stopped after a few nights due to the discomfort it was causing me. In the end I gave up on it as it was causing me to salivate and gag, but I recently gave it another go and no such issues.
The difference has been astounding. I have Sleep Cycle in my phone, an app that listens to your movements/breathing to track whether you’re in deep sleep or light sleep and wakes you up in the latter to avoid grogginess, but for a long time I would up feel barely rested when waking up, alarm or no.
Since using this device consistently I find I wake up each day with notably more energy – yes I’d still like to stay in bed longer, but that’s now a comfort thing as opposed to a”just another 5 minutes of sleep” thing.
If you’re a heavy snorer, and especially if you’re a heavy snorer who wakes up crank, groggy and barely rested regularly, get this. Get this and stick to it for at least a week and you should find that you get used to the device and get a good nights sleep!
The procedure for fitting looked at first glance to be a bit complicated, but in fact this was not so as the instructions and diagrams were simple to follow.
This was a gift from my long-suffering wife who had some time ago de-camped to a room far from what was described by her as heavy agricutural machinery being transported over a jagged terrain. Those who have to suffer this racket from a partner will all have their own description, but the upshot is always the same and rancour and separation inevitably follow.
Well, the first night I tried to use the device and lasted three hours as it felt uncomfortable. But, not being one to be easily defeated, I persevered, and soon found it, if not second nature, then certainly quite comfortable.
And – it has worked! Worked a miracle, and a loving couple are back in the same bed.
I get the sensation that I am actually nose breathing more, but I suppose if you have this apparatus in your mouth there is little choice of aperture for breathing in. It also helps to keep the tongue from falling back, which I believe is a constricting factor contributing to the nighttime cacophony.
I have read that an orthodontist will provide a mould similar to this for a cost of several hundred pounds,
and although this is not custom made it works. It does the job ( and does not upset the bank balance ).
Recommended.
This is the first of this style of anti-snoring device that I would consider buying again.
Compared to others I’ve tried, it doesn’t feel too bulky in the mouth. The two halves of the device clip together at the front and I was a little concerned that the protruding clip would irritate the inside of my upper lip, but it doesn’t. This front clip holds the lower jaw securely in the forward/backward direction, but allows some lateral movement. For me, this small amount of movement makes my jaw feel slightly less constrained and hence it feels more comfortable than the ones I’ve tried that keep the jaw ‘fixed’. Forward/backward adjustment is easy and once set, remains in position. Like all devices of this style, it can cause the jaw to ache for a while after use, but this soon clears and now I don’t feel any discomfort. The moulding process was straightforward and I achieved a good fit first time. It may have been, luck, but the fit seems better than others I have tried. All this combines to make it more comfortable to wear and, so far, the device stays in my mouth through most nights.
Cleaning is straightforward, although separating the two halves and then fitting back together can be a little fiddly.
As for the performance, well for me, this device seems to work well and better than others I have tried. It has dramatically reduced my snoring and I am getting better quality sleep. My wife is also very happy, as she also now gets uninterrupted sleep!
It is bit expensive for a non custom MAD and I cannot comment yet on the longevity, but for now it is a thumbs up for this device.
