Once fitted to the air vent the angle adjustment is good, and once set and the angle you want the mount is solid.
Excellent car mount.
The magnet is very strong, to remove my phone I have to give it a real sideways push, which shows how well its attached to the mount! However you have to pull/slide the phone off sideways because if you pull it straight off the mount would probably come with it….
Once on, its great, and i like the subtle blue light on the side that shows its charging

I have been using this for about a month now and am thoroughly impressed. The mechanisms and quality of the materials are very premium and it has plenty of manoeuvrability so you have the option to position your phone in a number of different ways. The wireless charging feature was a bonus for me and it works really well. The magnet is really strong and will hold up any phone out there in the market right now with ease. Very good quality robust produc
Firstly I have no business connection with ESR.
I started using the product in 2023 as I work within a global brand car manufacturer.
I have 3 products which are used 5 days a week constantly swapping between vehicles to test infotainment and meter displays relying upon the car vents that support various phone devices.
The only issue I have come across is the round vents as it suits the letterbox vents.
It has a strong magnetic fix, more than enough to hold the heavy iPhone 14 / 15 Pro Max phones whilst conducting dynamic testing.
Charging speed is dependent on what 12volt source is used but I use a 165Watt USB-C power.
All in all I would give this product a 10/10.

Using it with new Samsung Ultra 24. The magnet is very strong and no problems or worries about the phone coming off the mount, even when going over speed bumps or rough terrain.
My phone only supports 15w ‘fast’ charging, so from 0 to 100 it will take a long time to charge but that is the nature of wireless charging at that wattage.
Heat. I’ve only been using it a few days, usually at around 30 mins to 1 hour at a time whilst travelling to work. There is a slight bit of heat generated but again that is the nature of wireless charging, so I’m not worried at all. I couldn’t justify the extra 10 or so for the ‘cryo boost’ charger with the built in fan. So in short, there is a slight bit of heat but it’s not worrying.
Attaching to the vent. I initially didn’t think it would be that seceure compared to the ‘hook and twist to tighten’ variety, however IT IS. the clip onto the vent is very secure and the stabiliser at the bottom that you flick out is reassuring too.
I like that it comes with a usb c to usb c cable and an extra dash board mount with sticky pad in case I want to use it that way but I doubt I will.
In summary: magnet good secure hold with phone, strong clip to my vent (straight BMW type vent), good accessories such as cable and other mount.

Great product and very sturdy… but check your vents before buying!
This is a really good product as the reviews say this isn’t false at all. Easy to setup within say 5 minutes, it charges well and had so much promise
However the one major flaw with the product is that it cannot hold onto circular vents (You have to look on the pictures and scroll to the right to see the vents it can hold onto)
A real shame as this charger was so promising. I wish it was highlighted a bit more
For those whose vents won’t latch onto you have to go for the dashboard wireless charger alternative which isn’t the best but ah well

Works very well
It doesn’t use Suction Power – so that’s a clip/sticky rating.
Strong hold and reasonable power rating – still charges when playing music and Navigating.
The air vent clip works very well with horizontal slats but is less convincing on vertical ones.
Sticky pad is fine as long as you clean the surface with isopropyl and choose a relatively smooth one.
You do have to match the circles up precisely but you can tell when they ‘stick’.

I was looking for a charging solution for my iPhone 14 Plus and seriously considered a Quadlock car vent version – but that would mean having to use one of their cases as well – I find them bulky and I’ve already got an ESR clear case, with a halolock MagSafe built into it, so that wasn’t going to be my answer. After trawling though Amazon I came across this ESR vent mount, so I bit the bullet and went for it. Fitting it is a doddle – but be warned you can’t use it with a ‘golf ball’ type of air vent, only the ‘slatted’ ones. I plugged it into my usb charger and… nothing – it wasn’t charging. To be fair to ESR they do say that you must have an output of at least 18 watts. Back onto Amazon and I ordered a INIU cigar lighter, USB C car charger which arrived the next day. Plugged it in and alls good with the world! The phone doesn’t slip or fall off, and can be positioned in either portrait or landscape, making using it for a sat nav perfect. The mount seems secure and doesn’t move or fall off of the vent. Excellent!
This a great piece of kit, well designed and a lot cheaper than a Quadlock – highly recommended.
This thing is absolutely practical. As easy as it can be. Has tons of adjustments of angle, extension of the bracket, and it is as easy as plucking your phone on it and pulling to remove it.
The style matches the Tesla’s colours and minimalist styles, so they nailed it.
Teslas have the downfall of not having Apple Car Play, so a phone holder is a must for me.
Sturdiness is the first word that comes to mind with this product. Since I unpacked it, and I saw the amount of metal used in its construction, I already felt confident that it would be a good product.
There is a very strong magnet that will snap your mobile to it and wireless charge it at 15W, which is pretty good for wireless charging.
After getting it installed, I noticed that ESR made a video explaining how to install it, and there is a cable concealment accessory that allows you to pass the USB cable behind the car’s monitor which I will try later on.
You can also see that there is a status LED on the side of the charger. I have found it a bit useless unless you have issues, as it remains behind the phone.
One thing I would like to see is a re-use system. The base is attached to the back of the monitor via a sticker. They send (I think it is at least) a reserve sticker. Maybe a suction system would fit better? But this is just a small point, overall I am happy with this product.
