Geekom Min PC
Ich habe mir den GEEKOM Mini IT12 Mini PC, 12. Gen i9-12900H gekauft. Das Einrichten mit Win 11 ging ganz fix. Ich habe dann im BIOS Secure boot deaktiviert, damit ich das Laufwerk C verkleinern konnte. Mir ist es stets schleierhaft, dass die Computerhersteller stets die gesamte Festplatte (bei mit 1TB) fr Laudfwerk C benutzen. Ich habe mir dann als Dualboot Linux installiert. MX Linux 23.4 ahs und Linux Mint 22 lieen toll einrichten. MX luft super schnell. Einziger Nachteil: Unter Linux Mint 22 luft Bluetooth nicht, allerdings unter MX Linux 23.4 ahs. Fr mich ein kleiner Nachteil: Die USB4 Ports stehen unter Dauerstrom. Da ist mir mal eine externe Festplatte geschrottet. Den Lfter des Mini PCs hre ich so gut wie gar nicht. Gute Verarbeitung. Gute Kauf Empfehlung
Mini super PC Desktop
Piccolo, compatto, ma potentissimo, veloce, pronto immediatamente per essere il vs. compagno di lavoro o di studio o di giochi, non lasciatevi ingannare dal nome: si chiama Geekom Mini, ma di mini ha solo le dimensioni che lo rendono poco pi grande di un libro, in realt un super pc-desktop ottimale sia per lavoro che per studio o gioco, fornito gi con Windows 11 e Office preinstallati. Consigliatissimo.

Ohne Erfahrung mit Mini PCs habe ich mich sozusagen in das Abenteuer gestrzt und einen IT 12 bestellt. Strom und Monitor angeschlossen und schon ging es los. Windows 11 zu Ende installiert, Konten angelegt und schon war alles wie vorher. Die Dockingstation des alten PCs angesteckt und schon waren externe Festplatte, Datensicherung etc. verfgbar. Einfacher ging es nicht. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
Great for Streaming
I use this mini desktop mainly for streaming, and it hasn’t disappointed. The graphics are crisp, and there’s no lag, even when streaming in HD. It’s definitely enhanced my viewing experience.I love that it comes pre-loaded with Windows 11 Pro as well. Very happy with this computer and you will as well.
Initial review
This is an update review on the A7 Ryzen 9 7490 Mini PC. After purchasing the PC I tried to add a dual boot with Linux, but with no word of warning when you alter the disk partition enabling a new operating system you are locked out of the PC and need to enter a long winded password to a separate PC which then comes back with an ID to gain access. Feeling put out, I decided to do away with Windows and use it solely as a Linux PC. All went well except there was no bluetooth, the machine is very fast, I ran 5 separate iterations of an HD video in different windows on the PC. All ran well and could be moved around and resized in an instant. I did initially gripe and complain to Geekcom who responded and offered a refund or replacement, but as I am now settled with the PC, I could not part with it. Being a new machine there was an issue with the documentation which GeekCom have informed me will be uploaded to their website. After having the PC now for a week and downloaded all the software I need, I am more than happy with it.
Powerful little beas
After reading mixed reviews about mini pcs in general, I ordered this GEEKOM A7 to try out for our office. After some confusion on the Amazon site about the actual model ordered i.e., Ryzen 9 7980H or Ryzen 7 7890H, the item (7890H with 32gm ram and 1T ssd) arrived within two days, earlier than expected.
Got a VAT invoice from GEEKOM directly and also an explanation and apology about the confusion at the ordering stage.
Setting up very easy, win11pro pre installed. I can’t believe how this small pc can handle multi tasking, four screens etc etc. It runs pretty cool too and has a constant low level fan noise, much better than the high end laptop I’ve recently had, and returned for noise and heating issues.
Wondering why the unit is sitting sideways in the picture on the stand?
Well as all the reviews of other mini pcs will tell you that the wifi card is located at the bottom and cramped between other components. Hence wifi strength of all mini pcs is an issue, not exclusively on GEEKOM.
Therefore, I had to experiment with changing its orientation to get the best wifi signal.
I also got the latest WiFi card driver from the GEEKOM support which I haven’t tried as putting it sideways (exposing the bottom plate towards the router) gets the max wifi speed which is almost identical to all the other computers connected to the router.
All in all, very pleased so far from the product and the support too.

Impressive bit of kit!
Having ditched a PC the size of a house. I wanted a replacement that occupied less space in my home office. Spent a lot of time reseaching mini PC’s and decided to give this a whirl. Pleased I did. This is a truely impressive little machine, easy to set up, good value for money and runs all my peripherals – printers, scanner, speakers, CD drive and external hard drive storage with ease. Another selling point that is often missed – it comes free of any bloatware.

Over all its a good bit of kit but the fan noise will drive you potty apparently there is a firmware update to fix this but getting a response from Geekom support is nearly impossible [ we are not here right now please leave your question] yes no update in three days(Update support have just sent me a link that you put on a flash drive and fingers crossed has made a big difference)
Command pour travailler en bureautique depuis chez moi, et jouer un peu.
Impressionnant pour a taille, petit bmol sur le rcepteur Wi-Fi, qui dconnecte au 1er tage de ma maison (pourtant jamais eu ce souci sur d’autres PC – sols en bois), peut-tre prvoir une clef d’acquisition Wi-Fi plus puissante. Sinon aucun souci une fois 10 mtres de la box sans obstacles.
Pour pousser un peu la bte, je l’ai test en 3D photogrammtrique sur un lot de 500 photographies, aucun soucis, traitement rapide pour ce i7 12650H, fluidit dans la vue OPEN GL et les 32 Go de RAM fond le taf.
Niveau jeu, je ne l’ai test que sur Guild Wars 2, pas de soucis, affichage fluide.
En bref trs bon PC, si vous n’avez pas de grosses charge de travail 2D-3D ou jeux gourmand qui demanderaient une carte graphique performante.
Der Pc ist schnell genug fr meine Arbeit mit Medien. Der Lfter war am Anfang, wie schon fter bemngelt, laut! Ich dachte mir, ok, wie manche geschrieben haben, “fix” das Bios updaten… naja, 3 Stunden spter…

Davvero OTTIMO
Piccolo e potente. Windows 11 gi installato. Ottime performance per un uso casalingo lavoro.
Oltre la possibilit nativa di 2 monitor HDMI ha anche una serie di porte USB-C che permettono l’alimentazione dei dispositivi anche a pc spento.
Non manca davvero nulla a questo mini pc. Inoltre vi anche la possibilit d’inserire un ulteriore disco da 2.5 che nel mio caso, era un HDD del precedente portatile. Davvero comodo il lettore di card laterale.
Se proprio devo indicare un difetto, direi che la ventola avrebbe dovuto essere pi silenziosa: Niente che possa farvi dubitare in merito al voto “5 stelle.”
Non credevo ma e’ veramente un bel prodotto, veloce, la ventola si sente un pochino ma nulla di fastidioso.
Confezione molto curata, ha anche la piastra in metallo per la VESA.
Lo consigliero’ di sicuro.
Ho stipulato anche l’estensione di 2 anni per un totale di 4.

Mi experiencia es muy positiva y completa. Llevo quince das utilizndolo a diario, ofimatica, series, un poco de edicin fotogrfica. No he jugado con el, pero tal y como se ha comportado, juegos no exigentes de tarjeta grfica los movera sin problema. En fin, tan encantado estoy que he dejado arrinconado mi MacBook Air 13 de hace tres aos.
El mini PC me llego con problema, El ventilador siempre funcionaba al maximo de revoluciones, incluso en reposo. Provocando un sonido muy molesto, cosa que no reflejaban las otras reseas. Contacte con sus servicio tcnico y me resolvieron el problema en 48 horas. Me enviaron una actualizacin de la BIOS. Ahora apenas se escucha el ventilador, sin calentarse, ni afectar a su rendimiento.
Producto y marca completamente recomendable.
Diesen Mini-PC hatte ich im November 2023 gekauft. Windows 11 Pro war vorinstalliert und die Restinstallation hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Die stndigen Lftergerusche waren schon ein bisschen nervig, aber nach einem BIOS-Update (wegen fehlerhafter Lftersteuerung) ist nun endlich Ruhe.

Il mini pc molto reattivo. Compatto, ma di grandi prestazioni. Buone performance nel gaming. Pi che soddisfacente nell’uso routinario e nella riproduzione video. Ogno tanto tende a “sfarfallare”, ma forse, pi che del mini computer colpa di certi giochi.
Si fa sentire la mancanza di porte USB. Va assolutamente abbinato con un hub. Per il resto, un buon acquisto con un discreto rapporto qualit/prezzo

Fast. Boots up in 15 seconds. Easy to add more RAM, SDD, and HDD. It is more than enough for my needs. But internet download speeds were slow. My router is 6 meters and 3 walls away from this PC and downloads range from 1.5 – 4.5 Mbps. My old laptop (next to this PC) was around 40Mbps. Took it nearer to the router and download was 130Mbps but I need this PC in my office. Changed the adaptor settings to 2.4GHz 802 1b/g (greater range but less data transfer) and this improved to 18Mbps. Not great but workable. Not sure why the downloads are slower than my old laptop. Mailed Geekom and waiting for a reply. Nevertheless, it is a great mini PC, although I suspect the GEEKOM AS 6 Mini PC AMD Ryzen 6000H (AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX, Ryzen 7 7735H) would be a better product as it has a far better graphics card.
Edit. My download speed now ranges from 18 – 50Mbps.
Additionally, for buyers who are worried about the product key not being supplied, the following will get your product key

Three months ago I purchased the Geekom Mini Air. It’s the cheapest Geekom Mini PC in their range, only having a Celeron processor. I was intrigued as to how a PC could be made for under 160. I was blown away. Cut a long story short I watched the launch event for the new IT13 a few weeks ago and could not resist getting another Geekom, but this time see what a more powerful model could do.
Unsurprisingly the I9 and i7 processors had all sold out. I couldn’t wait for a restock so ordered the i5. Figured it could still have more than enough power for what I need it for.
The unboxing experience is excellent, really well packaged in a nice sturdy box. I love that Geekom also includes a VESA mount in the box so this little PC can be mounted on to the back of your monitor or tv. Nice touch.
I swapped my shiny new IT13 for my still very capable mini air and pressed the on button. Wow, booted to Windows in seconds. What I love about Geekom, and can’t be said for pretty much all other PC manufacturers is the fact they do not install bloatware or software trials on your machine. What you get with Geekom is a 100% clean Windows 11 Pro install. It’s so refreshing. No spending hours trying to delete all the usual rubbish. Impressed already I updated Windows and decided to run some benchmarks.
For you techies, achieved well over 95% of the expected Cinebench R23 Scores with

Excellent results for the new i13 processors featuring 12 total cores, 16 total threads, 4.70ghz max turbo frequency and 24 mb Intel Smart Cache.
Graphics are processed via the onboard Iris Xe graphics chip. While this isn’t going to compete with the monster graphics cards found in most gaming PC’s it does a decent job at most games giving a more than acceptable frame rate, and coupled with the DDR 4-300 RAM you should not expect any throttling.

Incredible. 4 displays and the pc can be mounted into the back of one of the displays for a really clean desktop.
For the last 6/7 years I’ve been an avid Mac user and totally gave up on PC’s due to all the bloatware and slow loading times. This GEEKOM gives me the same Mac experience, speedy, and no delays but with the ability to upgrade the pc easily. In my mini Air I removed four screws and within a minute had upgraded the RAM and added a new NVMe drive. I was planning on doing the same to this It13 but it’s so rapid I’m not even thinking of upgrading for a while.
I cannot recommend these GEEKOM units enough. This won’t be the last one I buy. If you want a really easy, reliable home PC you really don’t need to look any further. No big bulky box consuming electricity ( did you know the running costs of these small PC’s saves 100’s per year) these can fit away out of sight and coupled with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse give a really clean setup. Even attached to back of a tv, brilliant for streaming. The WiFi and Bluetooth connections are also really quick.(WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2).
Go for it. You will not be disappointed.
Prompt delivery and easy to set up
Prompt delivery and really easy to get things up and running. Got it to run business related Windows software, and use as a file server. It looks as if it will be more than sufficient to do the job. Great to have such a small computer that takes up such little desk space. The support looks really good as well – but hopefully will not have to use it!
I needed to upgrade my old desktop with windows 10, which couldn’t be upgraded to Windows 11.
System is amazing, easy to install, connected to my 65 inch sky glass TV automatically.
Wireless keyboard and mouse no problems.
Took about 10/15 minutes to do all the windows upgrades.
The only noise is initial startup for about 3 seconds then silence, no overheating.
Very impressed with it.
Solid build quality, nice finish. Very small, compact with lots of ports. It also has an IR sensor so theoretically ehome remote capable – not tried yet.
W11 preinstalled, once configured and updated it’s ready to go. Very fast!! But not suitable for high end gaming. (Asphalt 9 still runs smoothly.)
I added my own ssd drive to it as well.
Perfect for office, family pc, or even as a home theater pc. Plays/streams 4k videos nicely. I use it for audio/video editing, Photoshop, office work etc.
Due to compact size the cpu temp is always above 40-45 Celsius, even if idle. Under low load or when idle the fan is very quiet, nearly silent. I wouldn’t tell if the device is on without looking at the led button. You can watch 4k movies at night without the fan disturbing.
Under load the cpu temp can rise above 65-70 Celsius and the fan is annoyingly noisy. The solution is to disable turbo boost from the Bios or from Power mgt: with this the cpu will not overclock and not overheat.. so the fan remains always silent. The system remains still usable and very fast, you cannot really notice any performance difference with everyday usage.
Generally I am very happy with it, esp. with the performance and connectivity options. Oh, and Ubuntu runs also perfectly on it 🙂

Update:
If you connect this to a smart TV via hdmi output, it will break the CEC control and ARC feature on the TV. In my case it’s a Samsung 4k TV. This means, if you have other devices connected to the TV (AV-Receiver, sky box, fire tv etc) the unified remote control and audio return channel feature will stop working. This is because the MiniPC’s hdmi port does not support CEC and it scrambles the signal. The same issue can occur when connecting the minipc directly to an AVR via hdmi.
There are 2 solutions for this problem:
1. Use a small cec-less hdmi male-female adapter on either end of the hdmi cable (between minipc and TV). This basically stops the cec signal.
2. Use another port to connect the minipc with the TV (with an adapter). i.e. mini display port to hdmi, or usb-c to hdmi. The picture quality is the same, but these ports do not have CEC control. Although you might get different refresh rates and hdr controls, depending on the cables/adapters used. Buy good quality cables supporting high resulutions and refresh rates!
No CEC troubles when connecting to a normal pc monitor (via hdmi).
Great Mini PC
I purchased this to use as a PC to run my lighting console software. What can I say, it’s such a good size and really lightweight for the power it provides. It has so far proven to be robust as it travels around the world with me. I am sure that for most people as a day to day PC it would be perfect and could also be used for creative software such as Adobe Photoshop or similar.
Small and powerful, without breaking the bank!
I ordered this PC to replace an ailing desktop. It runs 2 monitors (1 x 4K, 1 x 8K) and occasionally a third, via USB-C, for checking how video will look on a TV. It happily works tirelessly as a photo/video processing and editing machine. My old machine used to struggle sometimes, but this one just eats the work, and it’s very nearly silent.
An added bonus is that it’s so small, I have now attached it to the back of my monitor stand, and cleared my desk!
As part of my recent reduction of electric usage I managed to reduce my monthly usage by about 20%.
However a few power hungry appliances remained. One of these was my main PC. This is normally on 24/7 (but sleeps when inactive for a period) and runs Plex, a remote app for work, and used for the occasional Civ 6 game amongst others.
Using the handy tplinkuk energy monitoring plugs I ran some usage tests on both machines.
The geekompc I opted for was i5 with 16gb ram and 500gb m2 ssd and my main pc is a AMD 5600x, nvidia 3080 and a samsung 1tb m2 drive.
At idle, the main PC was pulling 85.2w and when gaming a whopping 462.9w. While geekompc at idle was circa 13w and while gaming between 37w and 49w.
So even at full tilt it pulls less than half of the main PC at idle.
I tested 4k videos playing on YouTube and streaming via Plex and the geekompc handled it with ease and sat at circa 24w.
While the benchmarks in Civ6 were of course no where near the Main PC. The game however was very playable.
In conclusion, a small (palm size!) PC that uses minimal power even at full tilt that will replace my main PC and run the apps that are on 24/7.
