So these LED strip lights are actually okay. They are very bright, and very easy to install. My only problems with them are: it doesn’t come with 2 10m rolls, only 1 20m roll, it isn’t 12V, its 24V, and customer service didnt really help when I asked if I could get my 2 10m rolls. They said I could only return it and I would have to buy them seperately but I couldn’t even return it because there was no amazon locker option even though I picked it up from there. Ill update if anything changes.
Setting them up was a breeze. With their adhesive backing, I installed them around the ceiling within about 15 minutes. The adhesive is strong enough to keep them in place, yet easy to adjust if needed. The included remote control allows for convenient customization of colors and effects, providing endless possibilities to match any mood or gaming session.

Traditionally they’ve had very poor adhesion and the quality of lighting and use very poor.
Usually bundled with a very cheap IR remote control.
These Govee lights are definitely a cut above the standard ones.
Firstly the adhesion is incredible. They are so sticky and hold fast to the wall or ceiling instantly giving you real confidence that they’ll stay put for years.
Secondly, the light output and colours are brighter and more of the actual LEDs along the strip. They are dimmable, colour changing and other options too. Which leads onto the third thing that sets these apart from the other models.
They come with an app for both iOS and android. Once installed and connected to Wi-Fi the lights will update. Yea, the LED strip will connect to the internet and update. Crazy.
Once updated, maybe 5 minutes.
The app is very well put together, here you can change the colour options, brightness and even scenes. You can set a bedtime routine where the lights will dim over a period of time until they switch off. A morning routine where they gradually switch on and brighten to any colour of your choice.
They can react to music and sounds. The list is endless.
Finally there is a physical push button built into the lights where you can physically switch them on and off.
An absolute great purchase and brilliant price. 20 for 20 metres of light strip that will easily enable you to have lighting around the bedroom/living room or kitchen.
