The ones we ordered several years ago finally wore out, so go these. Dad didn’t realize I bought these when he bought one the day before. He was happy about it.
Had to wash them in a lingerie bag (PIN THE CORDING otherwise you’ll have to rethread like I did) because the birds weren’t coming, but after washing and refilling with thistle the birds are enjoying it!!
NEVER ABLE TO FING THE REFILL BAGS IT SEEMS ,SO I WAS GLAD TO SEE AMAZON HAD DEALERS I COULD ORDER THEM FOR MYSELF ,PLUS LET OTHER BIRD PEOPLE KNOW THESE ARE ABLE TO GET ,,NOW NOT SO EXPENSIVE TO FEED THE LITTLE BIRDS
But the finches really do seem to prefer the socks to a metal mesh nyjer feeder.
I have to put the sock into a support cup and use my canning funnel to fill these. I wish that pet was simpler and less messy.
