I recently received this PS5 Controller Charging Station, and I’m quite pleased with its performance. The fast charging feature is a game-changer, allowing me to quickly charge my controllers in just 2-3 hours. The RGB light adds a cool aesthetic touch, making it stand out on my gaming setup. The docking system is convenient and keeps my controllers organised when not in use. However, I would have preferred a slightly longer charging cable for more flexibility in placement. Good quality, works well
It looks very similar to the official Sony Charging station, however it also has RGB lighting which you can turn on or off. Charges well and is very sturdy, however it would be nice if the padding on the bottom was a little bit thicker. Overall very good!

A much more fun way of charging my controllers
It can take a few goes placing the controller down to get it to connect and start charging. Apart from that, it’s a nice design and seems to work well.
Charging time isn’t as fast as when I have the controller connected to the console with the USB cable, but I wouldn’t expect it to be and this is a much more fun way of doing it.
Great charge
Anyone under the age of 16 is going to love the lights on this, anyone older that has a this charger in there living room, may not the way it lights up!
That being said, the lights aren’t to bright, but if you have the TV on and the lights off, your going to notice this. The PS5 controller sits really very well in the cradle and connects with no problems at all. Charging times are a little over 50mins for a full charge, so times are not to bad.
It’s heavy enough so that it doesn’t slide around if in a flat shiny surface. I’ve no complaints with how it looks or performs, just wish that there was an option to switch the charging lights, and just have a red for charging and a green for complete! Other than that, this is a very handy and worthwhile ps5 charger that does everything it’s advertised to do!
Lovely little charge
How did I cope before I go this charger.
This is a super handy device, all I have to do now after when I’m finished is just place the controller onto this and it’s is ready for the next time I need it.
No more forgetting to charge the pad, thankfully.
You can plug this into your PS5 to power it and most people probably will, I personally don’t like cables dangling everywhere, therefore I power up this from a separate usb plug, I also prefer to power down my console completely when finished with it, so it is the easiest solution for me.
The charger come in a nice box, showing the device in a nice light and I have to say I don’t think the images do the charger justice, as it looks rather nice at night time with the rgb shining up all along it. and if that is too off putting, there is a switch on the back that turns off the rgb lighting.
The build quality feels very nice and robust, I’m sure it will give me a long time of service.
It also blends in very well with the aesthetics of the consoles being a similar shape as the console, so it doesn’t look out of place when sat next to it.
Overall a very nice charger, would highly recommend
Works a Trea
if u use or have 1 control i would not get this but if u have and use 2 controls double play well this is well worth buying the charging station is so small that it takes up no space at all on the desk and i love how the indicator lights enlighten me to when it is charging red to when it is fully charged green it took about 3 hours to fully charge and i adore the rgb colours that are visually pleasing depending on my mood if the rgb colours become irritating i just switch them off at the led display.
Easy to use
The HELLCOOL Ps5 Controller Charging Station arrived well packaged, in the box were the charging station, USB cable, warranty card and full instructions.
The charging station was very easy to set up and holds the controller safely, it charges quickly there is a battery protection function, so to charge the controller the battery level of the controller must be under 80%.
The LED lights can be turned off with a simple switch but for me personally I don’t mind them being left on. The dock doesn’t take up a lot of room so can be put in a smaller space, overall for the price 19.99 at the time of review I think it is good value
Works well, great little charger for PS5 controllers
Arrived as part of the Amazon vine review programme.
Tested fine with two controllers charging. I like the fact that you can switch off the LEDS (which are actually quite pretty) but can be distracting.
Pros:
Easy setup, nothing special needed here, comes with the USB-C to USB-C power lead to plug directly into your PS5.
Looks identical to the Sony version but has pretty lights on the front.
Just rest the controllers on this to charge.
Cons:
None, at this price it’s well worth the money.
Conclusion:
A cheaper alternative to the Sony charger which works well and has the added benefit of some pretty lighting (which can be switched off if required).

Fast charges both of my controllers. Love the changing lights
This charger certainly keeps my PlayStation area tidier and thanks to the charger’s changing LED colour lights, more stylish too.
Of course, the main purpose is that both of my controllers are charging, and indeed they do, and I think they fast charge too as far as I can tell.
The charger has large charging indicator lights which I appreciate. While charging, they show red. When fully charged, they show green.
While the charger is connected, whether controllers are on it or not, it will always give a cyclic LED show of colours along the body’s inner rim for decorative effect (I show a few pictures of just some of the colours it smoothly cycles through). I love it but sometimes it can be a distraction so thoughtfully there is an on/off button to turn off the LED display, this will also turn off the indicator charging indicators lights off too.
Connecting the controllers onto the charger is a fairly easy slot in. It’s possible to accidentally knock the controller to a slight tilt and thus lose connection but you I would know if this happens as the charging light will go from red to green. So, there is no fear of thinking its charging when it’s actually not.
Lovely product and sits proudly on top of my “flat” oriented PS5.

Quite pleased with this. Ordering off-brand gaming accessories can always be a bit hit and miss, but this is a great little charger.
It’s not really a problem when you’re playing on your own and pick up your controller to find it’s dead because you forgot to put it on charge; you can just pick up the other one. But when you have mates round for a session a dead controller is a disaster on a par with the pizzas getting delivered to another house. This is great for that, as you just use it as a place to stow your controllers all the time, and lo, they’re always fully charged. I’ve actually always had a charging dock like this, and it is really easy to get into the mindset of ‘This is where the controllers live if they’re not being used’. There’s no faffing around with cables or–and I’ve done this more than a few times–plugging the cable into your controller, but forgetting to check that the other end is plugged into something. No, this just stays on, stays plugged in to the mains, ad does its thing with minimum fuss. All you need to do is put your controller on it.
This has a small footprint, it has lights so you know not only that it is indeed plugged in at the other end, but you can see in a glance which controller to take, and which is still charging. I like that you have the option of plugging it in at the wall (using your own plug adapter), or directly into your PS5 (if you do, don’t forget to change your console’s power settings in ‘Features Available in Rest Mode’ so that it ‘Still Supplies Power to USB Ports’ when in rest mode).
Cons? Well, the cable’s a bit short at just under a meter, but I have spare USB-A to C cables, so that got swapped out straight away.
The other thing is the colour-change light, which I’m not gonna lie, becomes pretty annoying after a while. Fortunately I had room to move the charger inside a cupboard so I don’t see it, but I can see where it would start to grate. You can turn it off, but if you do you also lose the charging lights, so you don’t see which charger is ready to go, or if you’ve cradled the controller properly and it’s charging. I would say if they ever upgrade, I’d give an option to turn the multicolour light off separately. LEDs have become a bit of a nuisance really; they’ve become so cheap that you can put them on anything, so manufacturers do, and sometimes you just don’t want multiple little glowing dots all over the damn place. The novelty’s worn off.
But that’s really one thing on an otherwise fantastic charger, and I’m very happy with it. The controllers locate really well, the unit looks great, it does its job perfectly. Nice little charger.

Charges the controller fine, the kids love the LEDs- lets face it, are you a gamer if you don’t want a constant glow from your set up?

Neat charging solutio
Got this to make controller more convenient than plugging cable directly in.
The unit is very compact and streamline. It powers via a USB C cable so can consume power from the PS5 console. As well charging status lights on the front, there are also LEDs along the sides of the unit that are merely decorative. This is where the only negative is in my opinion – if you want to switch off those side lights, it also turns off the status lights. It would have been better for those to be controlled independently.
The controllers sit well on the unit as they are charging and it’s a useful place to store them when not in use. And they look good too.
