Insta360 GO 3 Creator Kit 128GB – Vlogging Camera

I received my insta360 Go 3 Black on Friday February 2/24, ordered replacement lens cover Saturday february 3/24, received the lens the next day and dropped the insta360 go3 Sunday February 4/24 smfh . As you can see in the video the puppy was showing me love as I was petting him and his nose tapped the camera that was on the WEDGE and made the camera fall. When you buy the content creator bundle it comes with a necklace that has a magnetic back to attach the go3, a rubberized wedge to till the camera up or down, a quick release sticky mount, screen protector, usb-a to c wire for charging.
The picture quality is great as you can see in the video; I was recording at 2k/30fps. The audio is nice and clear, it was a bit windy outside, I didn’t pick up much noise from the wind. I specifically mention the wedge because without it, using the necklace might record your videos too high. The wedge is a good idea to keep things eye level but it reduces the magnetic strength between the go3 and the necklace. I believe if I had the go3 directly on the magnetic pendant the camera would not have fallen off when the puppy nudged it with his nose. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra ten dollars on replacement lens covers for your go3. When mine fell it scratched the lens cover that came with it, luckily the same day it scratched was the same day my replacement covers came in the mail. I haven’t been able to test the battery life recording at 2k/30fps or wether or not it overheats like a GoPro.But So far so good . I def recommend buying one for quick social media posts on TikTok or instagram. If you’re creative you can def take advantage of the magnetic back of the go3 and get great angles with it.
TBH, I wouldn’t recommend this for children tho. The small aesthetics of this camera is great for filming any and everywhere, but with that being said, I can imagine lil kids easily losing the camera. The camera doesn’t have any gps location or tracking device to help find if lost.
The pod that the camera comes in is the only way to charge it and preview your content with the insta360 app. It’s a lil hard to take the camera out of the pod but I rather it be hard to get out than easy to fall out of the case. The insta 360 app is pretty good to edit and trim things on the go but I prefer to use adobe.
