Does what it says on the box. Quite compact and quite attractive. My house is almost entirely USB s so these are just stuck into the USB a slot of various chargers permanently . Low profile and not ugly. Quite satisfied. Extra cost is purely aesthetic but I think it's a reasonable ask. Jsaux quality is always dependable and solid.

Works great, but only USB-2.0 speeds
These work perfectly, but just so you know, you will not get USB-C OR USB-3.0 speeds through these particular adapters. These are White on the inside of the plugs, which generally always means USB-2.0. …And that’s the speeds you will get through these no matter what the rated speed of the drive or the cable in between is. These will max out with transfer speeds around 20 to 30-ish Gbps real world.
The transfers using this will be stable as a rock in my tests, but it will be slow compared to USB-C or 3.0.
These are a GREAT way though to get that square peg in a round hole so to speak when you need to take USB-C male TO USB-A type plugs. But these adapters will reduce your speeds. Very stable connection though.
Used for apple watch with new connection charge
I got an Apple Watch for Christmas with the new apple charger but we have USB ports in the plug sockets at home. These work perfectly as adapters and so far theres been no issues. they are a bit lose in the USB port but this hasn’t caused ay problems
