Love the fit and ease of use better than my bovo and guess what battery last more than 30 mins unlike bovo…. fav headstrap so far also go the charging dock with it couldnt be happier now I just need the kiwi grips and I’m set!

I love this strap. The only thing I don’t like is that the single point charging connection is seemingly proprietary, I don’t want to use the Kiwi dock but other magnetic connectors I’ve found are incompatible. I reached out to Kiwi, but they won’t sell a magnetic connector for a regular charging cable, or tell me where I could buy such a thing.

I have not tried other head straps for my Meta Quest 3 but this one has been SO nice in comparison to the original. It tightens with just a small turn of the knob on the back which is much easier than the original. The battery recharge on the headstrap has been solid. I never have to recharge during the middle of an activity now and if you go out of your way to get the Kiwi dock you can easily just set it down and let it charge both the headset and the back up power supply. Awesome product all around and I would highly recommend it.

Unfortunately it just doesn’t charge anymore.
Its a shame because the strap is very comfortable.
** EDIT: Kiwi reached out to me regarding this issue, they swiftly replaced the defective battery New battery is working fine.

Dieses Kopf band ist sehr viel angenehmer als das Original. Das einstellen mit dem Rad gelingt sehr schnell und gut. Durch den Akku habe ich eine Lngere Laufzeit mit der ich sehr gut zurechtkomme. Auch das einmalige Anbringen des Bandes geht sehr gut. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und wrde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.
Everything I was looking for.
I’ve had this for a little over a week now. I use my Meta Quest 3 for productivity and gaming. I use the app Immersed to work with multiple monitors. Today I sat on my computer with this thing on for 3.5 hours straight and my head started hurting a bit after about 2.5 hours. When I took it off the pain faded pretty much immediately and I was able to get back to work after a quick break.
While I have it plugged in when working I use the battery pack for gaming. I don’t know how long exactly the battery pack makes it last, however, when playing Ghosts of Tabor, I would run low on battery only after 2-4 full-length raids while using the default strap. Now I’m able to play pretty much as long as I want. I don’t ever play for more than 3-4 hours straight, so I think as long as you take breaks every 4-5 hours you won’t ever run out of battery.
The cushioned straps is very comfortable, but it was very difficult to install, as the Velcro just kept getting stuck in the loop, I had to get a pair of tweezers to pull it through. 4/5 would purchase agai

Da mein Akku-Headstrap fr die Quest 3 von Meta nicht funktionierte, konnte ich ihn nach einigen Monaten hoffen auf ein nicht gekommenes Funktionsupdate an Amazon zurcksenden und habe parallel den Kiwi Akku-Headstrap bestellt. Bin sehr zufrieden, er ldt die Quest 3 perfekt und die Nutzungszeit hat sich vervielfacht!
Easy to install
Easy to install the battery head strap has a battery on the back that has a charge port for the original charger cable from then quest 3. You don’t get a charger cable or power block you have to use the one that came with the quest 3. The battery has lights on it to tell you how much power is left. The fixed cable from the battery to the headset charger port is not a bad length it sits well with the included cable clip and has a little extra for people with larger heads. Once everything is attached the headset and strap are really comfortable and the weight it great it seems light and well balanced. The only thing I would say is it would have been nice to have a long cable to charger the battery on the head strap instead of using the short one that came with the quest 3.

And makes booting overall a confusing exercise. Also, you can no longer rest your head on any seat back, battery will get in way.

I do not normally write a review because I feel if i get what I was expecting then I have paid my money for it and unless it is junk, I do not respond, However I received the new headset and power stand with control covers from KIWI, for my new Meta Quest 3. All I can say is WOW!!!! much more than I expected and worth twice what I paid!!! I cannot believe the quality of the products and how comfortable the headset is, plus the fact that the battery on the headset and the internal battery of the Quest 3 are both charged at the same time. I am just so glade that there are still companies that still take pride in their product to give their customers the best equipment!!!!!! A must have if you have a Quest 3!!!!!!!!!

The default Q3 gave me a raging headache so I bought the official silicone face mask and the official battery band from Meta. These helped in a fairly big way but big is relative considering the bar was already so low. In reality they still put all the pressure on my forehead and cheeks and due to the lack of cushioning on the strap that also felt like a lot of pressure.
So I bought this and my god is it worth every penny. I also grabbed the AMVR Face Cover from Amazon and these two things combined are genuinely like wearing pillows on your head. I could wear this thing for hours now whereas before I could barely manage 45 minutes and even that was not comfortable.
The best part is (which I was not expecting), this actually keeps the Quest 3 charged fully while using it! I played for a full hour and a half earlier and the headset was still at 100% with only the headband having drained. That was not possible with the official Meta headband which is mind blowing.
The build quality is also incredibly good. I expected this to just be some Amazon knockoff but no, the packaging and the product are both high end.
Worth noting that I also bought the regular (non-SPC) version before this, only because I didn’t realise it was not compatible with the vertical stand they sell. I can also say that the non-SPC version is just as comfortable and just as good at keeping the charge of the Quest 3 so if you don’t need the stand, save yourself 30 and get that one instead.
Coming to the stand though – it’s great how this pairs with that. It has a little connector that will charge both the battery and the headset at the same time.
Worth every penny and nothing bad to say. Very rarely do I think things deserve 5 stars that’s what I’ll give this. Easily.
Two of my biggest complaints about the Quest 3 were its dubious comfort with the fabric strap and the disappointing battery life. This strap fixes both. The padded headset is more comfortable, easier to put on and take off, and the additional weight balances the headset nicely. And yes, it seemingly quadruples the battery life of the headset.
My only disappointments are minor; the larger back piece makes laying down or leaning back a little less comfy (since there’s a battery in the way, so forgivable). Additionally, it would be nice if there was some kind of notification when the extended battery drained – you can’t see the LEDs when you’re in VR! So a small beeper or something would be nice. Heck, even Meta could fix that with a “Headset not charging” notification. So not really Kiwi’s fault.
If you own a Quest 3, you should just buy this strap. It’s the best one out there.
Easy to install and the comfort is great. While it adds weight to your head, it also helps balance the front-heavy headset. Fits perfectly on the stand, which charges BOTH the Quest and battery strap simultaneously! I get about 5 hours in VRChat using SteamLink and Quest 3. Highly recommended. Kiwi stuff is quality for people who care about VR.
Let me start by saying this is my 3rd headstrap I’ve tried and has best comfort and battery life so far played for about 2.5 hrs and still had 100% on headset and 50% left on battery strap.i also had the Aubika battery strap and returned it seemed to drain fast although others say its great I like the kiwi better It uses the battery strap power first then uses the quest internal battery last haven’t even drained the headstrap yet. Only thing that sucks is that there’s no on off switch it powers on once u plug it in to the quest and off once u unplug it. I also got the charging stand to go with it and let me tell u it’s awesome I love it so clean looking and convenient to just place it and done. I recommend this strap 100%
I’ve used KIWI products since back in the Rift S days and they haven’t failed me yet. Now that I own a Quest 3, I ordered this head strap to extend play time, and to be able to play comfortably as well. I did not like the original strap this VR headset came with. This head strap was night and day. Immediate difference right out of the box. I played for maybe a solid 3 hours with zero discomfort.
I wear both glasses and contacts and playing on the Quest 3’s original strap with glasses made it a bit annoying to put on and take off. I could never quite find the sweet spot when adjusting the original strap so I always felt the headset pressing against my face a little too much which in turn pushed my glasses down on me even more. This KIWI head strap slightly folds and made it an absolute breeze when I wear glasses.
The weight distribution with the battery pack on the back was great. I didn’t feel any pressure on my face the entire time, nor did my glasses press down on my nose. I didn’t even talk about the battery, but it absolutely does the job. Don’t expect 12 hours, but this battery already makes Quest 3’s battery look sorry.
TL;DR: Huge upgrade over the Quest 3’s original strap, the strap’s slight folding makes it very glasses friendly, very comfortable to wear for extended periods, battery extender absolutely does the job.
