This was bought as a present, and it was very well received.
The build was apparently straightforward, and it produces an attractive product. I’d bought a set of lights for it as well, and when these were added it made for a lovely ornament.

Stunning kit, bought as a gift for myself. Didn’t take me very long to put together, but I did play with lego a lot when I was a kid. I suppose I must be a “master builder”. Lovely little display piece once finished with trees and plants that can be swapped around to alter the look.
Wonder which kit to tackle next, perhaps something really challenging.
I love this set, I bought it for my partner for Christmas and he loved it!
We built it together and had a blast. Only criticism is that the base isn’t very steady so when trying to build on top you have to be so careful not to dislodge it. Other than that its great 🙂
A present for my son, to sit alongside the Lego Bonsai he has. He said it was a good model to build and didn’t take too long. It really does look good alongside the bonsai tree and he’s pleased with it.
Box arrived in near-perfect condition; a minor grazing on one side. I got it when the price dropped to around 63, so at a per-piece price of ~0.04pp it was well worth picking up. Wonderful as a display piece and a nice amount of variety thanks to the various plants having multiple spots they can occupy.
I’d say the most fiddly part was the water sections, it’s very easy to find yourself miscounting and having to remove and fill in gaps unless you pay careful attention.
The surround / base is a delightful echo of the pot structure for the botanicals series bonsai tree and fits well alongside it, but this one you’ll want close at hand, The square modules that support the larger plants and trees are infinitely rearrangeable, and if you’re a collector with spare botannical parts you can easily build your own rearrangable custom plants to work on this base.
