A fantastic item well worth the money. I have and 56 Saab convertible which I’d like to keep as original as possible. This item has saved me a fortune over changing the head unit and does exactly what I needed. Connection and installation is so easy and clearly explained. Bluetooth phone calls are clear both speaking and hearing. I can’t recommend this product highly enough

Honestly, one of the best things I’ve bought for my car!! I have a problem with my stereo which puts a limit on the volume with every device that I try to connect to the stereo. I’ve done everything to try and fix this and I thought that this would be just another thing to add to the pile of stuff that doesn’t work but this solves the problem. Very easy to set up and install. There’s also a bass button that boosts the volume. I only use it for music and sat nav directions, it’s not ideal for making or receiving phone calls as it’s very hard for the other person to hear you on the other end but other than that, great product.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSound quality is good. Been using it for few months now. The only problem i noticed is that the mic sound quality is not good so if you want to buy this to mainly make phone calls than this is not a good option.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe device fitted the ‘cigarette lighter’ socket in my car though it was tight fit, but of course this is a positive as it ensures a good electrical contact. It first showed the battery voltage and then went into pairing mode which was a doddle. The default frequency is 87.5MHz, which is fine for me as there is nothing else on that frequency so I merely had to tune my car radio to 87.5 and I was up and running. Less than 5 minutes from start to finish 🙂
The nearest socket in my car is by the handbrake (there is also one on the back) but even there, the microphone licked up my voice fine and I could hold a telephone conversation with no problems at all.

So, in summary, I am very happy as the device is easy to setup and use – does exactly what I want.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis very reasonably priced FM transmitter solved our “issue”. We stream audio books or music while travelling. Old stereo has no bluetooth functionality so needed to use a 3.5mm lead to stereo unit connected via a lightening connector to ipad. This lead got in the way and crackled everytime it was moved.
This transmitter is easy to set up. I chose 87.5 on the van’s radio as there is no program on that frequency. Then using the button on side of the transmitter, select 87.5 on the transmitter. Go to ipad bluetooth settings and connect to BT23. Faint beep heard from radio when connected. Then just play program on ipad and it plays through the radio. If you keep volume high on the ipad, you can use radio volume to choose your preferred volume.
If you want to listen to the radio again, just choose your radio frequency and I’d also turn off transmitter if there’s any interference. Easy enough to just turn on again when you want to listen to ipad.

I’ve had things like this before but tended to find the sound quality and signal strength pretty poor but they served a purpose. My current car had a built in audio cable so I could plug my phone straight into it, but when I bought a new phone that didn’t have a headphone jack I had to consider something like this again. I wasn’t looking forward to a potentially sub par experience again but with this item I’ve been extremely impressed! Not only is the signal and audio quality perfect, the addition of a fast charging port, potential and the ability to charge more than one phone/device at the same time, plus I can ask Google without having to press a button too, these are all bonuses I wasn’t expecting to appreciate so much. My audio cable offered none of that before! It also quickly connects to my phone by automatically recognising it, so when I get out and connect my headphones, when I get back in the car it switches quickly back to playing through this instead. Nice!
So, I’m glad I gave this a go as I can see how far the technology has come since the ones I used to own. Really happy with it now and has added something extra to my aging car.

This device is mostly great and is an easy way to get digital radio from your phone into my old car’s FM radio
It’s not perfect , but I wonder if any BlueTooth device ever is !
Keep the volume up on your phone to make the signal cleaner.
It flashes a bit – and not really in time with the music – not sure drivers need this mild but pointless distraction.
Otherwise an excellent 20 solution to a 1000 problem , with occasional glitches which you’d expect at that price.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve had a good few bluetooth transmitters over the years, and since I decided to use an old kindle as a music player, rather than buying yet another android stereo with rubbish radio reception, I’ve needed two and sometimes three usb chargers. So this one seemed ideal. The fast charge works well, and the slow one does for the Kindle, while the other one (also quite fast) is there to charge a passenger’s phone. The bluetooth connection is solid, and automatically reconnects to the Kindle, as is the FM transmission, with very little interference. However, this is the one ‘but’ – the Bluetooth interferes with normal radio reception if I’m just charging the phone. Fortunately you can turn the Bluetooth off, leaving it to just charge, so it’s not the end of the world, but it is a slight annoyance to have to do that. I haven’t tried voice calling with it yet, but everything else seems to work well. Recommended, with that one caveat.
