I bought this primary for “scanning” documents with my phone to turn into PDFs, and for taking pictures of items to sell online. it works great for that. It also works great as a general work light and provides a nice, bright 30-inch x 30 inch work area on the table. it’s been used for probably 200 hours and still works great.
The only negative of this light is that it didn’t include a power adapter. I had lots of old 5w ones, but those didn’t work great, and I had to acually buy an adapter since we use the light all the time.
This works perfect! You can’t beat the price for the value! It’s great for overhead videos, I will say it doesn’t go quite as high as I need it for the videos I make currently, but that’s not this things fault… It’s my phones fault that it doesn’t zoom out on selfie mode. Lol. It comes with the ring light, and you have the choice to use it without it as well! It has 3 different light setting, warm white, cool white, and a more natural white. It does come with a remote, but it only works with an Iphone which I don’t have, but it states that it only works with I phone! It assembles very easily, it’s a great size and folds down, so it stores really easy. Not to heavy. Tighten the bolts well to hold it at the angle you need and it works perfect! It has a clamp that attaches to a counter or table top. And it opens wide enough that I think it will be able to clamp onto most lips of counters or tables! Honestly, you can’t beat the quality for the money! Great value! Highly recommend for new content creators!
No more blinding ligh
I bought this light to use near the couch while I am crocheting and in my sewing corner. Works amazingly well and I don’t have to have the over head lamp on or a light shining in half my face. I can position the light in front of me and work away.
My mama even wants one for reading now for her chair.

Easy to use, armature works smoothly and easy clamp install

I was looking for a replacement ring light and I was really attracted to the fact that this one clamps to a table/desk. I was worried about it not being bright enough because the one that I currently have is not very bright.
This light is fantastic it is nice and bright for anything that I would need the light itself swivels in any direction that I could possibly need to go part that holds the phone part even swivel so you don’t have to move the entire light. My main purpose for this is to use it make up light but it will also double fantastic online meetings or or taking videos. I was a little nervous to purchase because of the price but it was definitely worth it!!
I use it to record the process of drawing and the mount works good. The light is bright and i can choose different levels of brightness. The mount is stable with phone and holds it perfectly. A bit pricy, but overall experience is good.

The ring light is bright and has an amazing color and adjustability when it come to different lighting without have to change the actual ring light. It’s light weight, the stability of the ring light is great. not too big so it’s easy to store. Very easy to use. I just wish it had the ability to bend more. Other than that, great product.

Decent video light but with a few bits it could do bette
Will this do the job? Yes, definitely. It is a solid metal frame arm that is sprung to support the positions without the need of tightening or loosening grips all the time. But don’t expect to move it silently, certain moves will result in a metal twang sound. So fine if you’re doing stills or don’t need to move it while filming.
The brightness is pretty good with warm, cool and daylight options. When in daylight you can see that the colder colour is around the outer edge, but it is only by looking straight at it that you can see this. It isn’t visible as an artifact on the object being illuminated.
The remote shutter button is great, simple to use. They even include a spare battery!
It folds away reasonably well, but for some reason the metal block supporting the light ring is thick and so don’t fully fold back against the arm. Find if you just want to leave it in place, but it means it consumes more space in storage unless you fully dismantal it each time.
It won’t remember your settings when power is turned off. So you can press the power button on the unit itself and it’ll switch on and off using the same settings. But if you unplug the USB cable or turn the USB powersupply off then when you plug it back in it’ll come back on at the default settings. Only minor but some presets / remembering the last settings would have been good.
Needed a good light for taking photos with the phone, as well as to get rid of shadows when filming the desk from up above (think drawing/cooking videos for blogs and social media).
This light is extremely flexible (no pun intended) and fulfils all our needs. Firstly, you can rotate, twist, tilt and angle it into any position imaginable, whilst being able to attach to any flat surface – whether it’s a table, desk, chair, any other piece of furniture and so on.
Secondly, the LEDs are truly bright and get rids of any shadows caused by ceiling lights, making the videos and photos look extremely well lit and a lot more professional. You can even get more light when using 15W power adaptors or banks. The bulbs can switch between the usual white/natural/yellow tones and has granular brightness adjustment, which is handy to control overexposure.
Lastly, the phone holder itself is fully adjustable, which allows the use of both front and selfie cameras! You can also change the phone holder to other types of accessories via the universal 1/4″ screw. Added BT remote is very handy for photos, whilst USB power means you can used it on the go with power banks and similar sources.
I highly recommend this ring light, though one thing I wish was improved is the base mounting mechanism – it’s the old type rotating bolt/clamp, but perhaps they should have added a little stand conversion or a claw grip like GoPros have to ensure you don’t need to rely on a flat surface being available for bolting on to.
Decent ring light with good stability advantages over tripod-designs
This is a decent table-mounted 25cm ring light with clamp and arm, providing stability you just can’t get with a tripod.
The light source is from LED lights contained inside a plastic diffuser. The LEDs are USB powered (so you can power off a USB power bank to keep mobile). When powered up, the light is bright and casts an even light across your face (or an object).
It’s simple to use with 10 brightness settings (controlled through on-wire remote), and the option to switch between cool white, warm white and “both” with the press of a button. Also note the warm is much warmer and yellow than the bluish tinge appears in the attached photos.
The metal arm is well made with adjustment screws at every joint to help get the exact angle you need. The arms are counter balanced by springs which mean that you can adjust the arm into any angle easily and “let go” safe in the knowledge that it will stay where you leave it (though you can tighten up the screws to fix it in position and make it harder to accidentally knock). And this is secured to a table edge with a vice clamping mechanism. As long as you have a table edge, you have the ability to get much sharper angles than possible with a table-mounted tripod.
But note that the jaws of the vice will open up to a maximum of 5.2cm. This won’t fit tables thicker than that.
Also included is a small bluetooth remote (which can be paired with Android and iOS devices) so that you can start recording or take pictures without the camera shake caused by pressing the phone screen. The remote is a bit cheap, but it does the job.
Overall, this is a decent table mounted ring-light; the arm is well made and offers good stability advantages over tripod designs.

This ring right comes packaged with a stand, a phone holder and base, which are pretty straight forward to put together. They come with instructions.
I haven’t used a ring light before so I was very impressed with the difference it can make to photos. It makes the photos so much clearer and sharper. The brightness is excellent quality, and you are able to choose various different shades and tones through the buttons on the cable.
The adjustable nature of the light and stand means you can avoid any kind of shadows and get the perfect shot. It’s also very light, and easy to take the whole set apart, so you can put it away when not in use.
There is a remote shutter button for use with the camera, using Android or iPhone. You just need to pair it via bluetooth.
All in all this is an excellent piece of equipment for producing well lit photos and videos.
Big, versatile and stable desk/selfie/videocon ligh
I like everything about this light. It’s enabled me to ditch three pieces of equipment and replace them on my work table with one. It’s a really effective work light, with the usual multiple brightness and white/natural/yellow choices and is almost infinitely poseable – staying where you put it. (The two main joints can be tightened easily to maintain the correct position.) The clip for the smartphone in the centre of the ring light holds the phone steady without any unnecessary fiddling around to make it fit (mine is quite a large Sony) and the bluetooth remote works reasonably well. (Mine is a little bit temperamental, but that might just be me.) It’s also very handy that you can remove the halo light and use the stand alone for other bits of kit ike webcams, digital cameras and GoPros.
Given how versatile and robust this is, it’s reasonably price and a good buy for home use.

An excellent tool
I very much like this ring light and stand from Luxsure. I have started creating a lot of video’s for product reviews, Youtube and many other purposes. Getting the right lighting and having a convenient way to hold a camera or phone while filming or photographing could be a bit of an issue without having access to some, quite expensive, equipment. But this desk stand with its LED ring and phone holder is perfect for my needs and at a price which I would think suits most budgets.
I’ve been very impressed with the LED light ring which is great for filming, bright yet diffuse and so variable for different lighting effects. A really good range of pre-set whites at varying light levels to either enhance or subdue the subject characteristics.
The stand clamps easily to a desk or table and although the it feels quite light it is fairly stable and securely holds a camera or phone in the desired position using the holders provided.
Included is a remote Bluetooth shutter activator for both Android and Apple devices. I found this very easy to setup and pair and it works perfectly with my Samsung S21, negating any need to touch (and disturb) the phone when taking a picture or starting/stopping a video record.
Three minor criticisms:- 1. It does not come with it’s own power supply so you need to have or buy a separate power supply with a USB ‘A’ output socket. Of course, maybe the absence of this item keeps the price down. 2. The length of cable from the USB plug to the lighting control is very short, at only 1m long this is rather limiting and in most situation you would require an extension cable.
3. Lastly, and this really is a very minor point, I found the holders for a phone to be very hard to open and fit or release the phone, the spring which clamps the phone tight is very strong and I found it quite a fiddle and difficult to open the clamp without unintentionally pressing the phone buttons or accidentally turning the touch screen off. The addition of a quick release lever or even a lift tab would make this much better.
Despite these few minor criticisms though, I still think this is an excellent piece of kit, a great tool and very good value.
Well constructed and versatile ligh
I got this for use on my office desk to provide better light to my work area and to supplement lighting for video calls.
The light comes well packaged in a flat pack box with the contents secured by a custom foam insert. It’s very easy to construct – simply screw the ring light onto the stand and secure the stand to your preferred surface with the attached clamp.
The light is powered by USB A and I have mine connected to a USB port on a power strip under my desk. There is an inline controller on the power cable to switch the light on & off, change the type of light and the brightness. There are 3 light types and 10 brightness levels that can be selected.
The stand feels robust, with decent springs to hold it into a set position. The stand can also be used without the light, so you can use it to support a phone only or a GoPro for example so it is versatile. There are nice touches like the inclusion of a bluetooth remote for your phone and clips to contain the power cable on the stand.
My office is also used by my daughter when she returns home to visit and I know that she will get good use of the light for applying make-up, etc.
The light and stand feel of professional quality so I think it’s a decent value for money package.
Bright and useful
Simple to setup and it omits bright led light which is perfect for vlogging or even carrying out video reviews on items. The holder in the centre of the light is a perfect location for your phone and offers a stable filming position. The arm is easy to manoeuvre and lightweight. Highly recommended and well work the money.
Bright and easy to use - a little stiff
Overall this is a good ring light, bright, multiple tones and a large size which makes lighting products and spots effective.
Pros:
– Very bright options, excellent for eliminating shadows.
– Bluetooth controller is easy to connect.
– Cable length is reasonably good.
Cons:
– Extended arm is a bit stiff and struggled to get some angles.
– The phone clamp isn’t quite as strong as I’d like.
Overall I’d still strongly recommend this product, it was probably more like a 4.5 star. I’ll be using it regularly for video calls and recording “how to” videos.

Great quality, very easy to install, with different settings and adjustments, being suitable for type of desks widths.
The quality of the lighting is great, three different types of colours, and you can adjust the intensity accordingly with your needs.
We left in your kids study desk, great lighting for reading and studying time, also great for recording my paintings.

In holds properly my phone and I can also just the angle very easy
It was very easy to set up this product because I just had to unfold it and then lock it on the desk and I have attached my tripod head. Because I work as a professional photographer for so many years I have plenty of lights and I prefer to use mine instead of the ring light that it came with because the intensity of the light it is kinda weak and it is not very helpful for me I use the stand almost every day and it is an easy process to place my phone and to adjust the angle based on what I have to film.
If for example even though I have a very solid desk, when I feel if I put my hands on the desk or I take something from it then I can clearly see movement in the video because these stand in my opinion is not that steady but usually I prefer the keep the products that I’m filming only in the air and like this everything is just fine.
It is still helpful for me because I don’t have to set up all the time I tripod and I’m using this product almost every day for roughly one hour and I like the fact that he offers me the possibility to change the angle easily but even in this case it is not my favorite stand because it is not as stable as I would like to.
Definitely for beginners this is a good product because it also comes with the ring light which I have tested and if the distance between the light and the subject is close then the video quality is more than fine.
This LED light stand is very easy to assemble, it comes in separate threaded parts that connect together including a spring operated cantilever bracket stand which can be easily extended, folded &/or posed to suit your purposes.
The metal cantilever bracket features a short pole at one end which connects to the adjustable height metal desk clamp & an adjustable circular connection at the other end which attaches to the ring light part of the lamp.
I can assemble & disassemble this entire lamp within minutes which also makes this easy to store compactly when not in use which is perfect for my limited storage space.
The ring light features an adjustable plastic phone clamp in the centre which easily accommodates various widths to suit your smartphone or camera, the clamp can also be easily manoeuvred upwards & downwards or rotated to provide the best angle for your photography.
There is an additional interchangeable adjustable plastic phone/camera clip which is slightly shorter & wider than the pre assembled clip attachment if your device is not compatible with this one.

Great little ki
I was genuinely surprised just how good this ring light & stand kit is. You might not realise it at first because everything is very light. But while it doesn’t have that solid, sturdy feel, it’s well made and very well thought out.
Whether you want to film or stream your desk, use it as a selfie light, or even just use your phone as a magnifier for a project you’re working on, it works well, and can easily come apart again. I recommend keeping the original box for storage, as it’s nice and compact.
I do think it would be nice if the phone holder came out of the ring so it could be used on a tripod or the arm separately from the light, but that’s a minor niggle for this well thought out bit of kit.
A bit flimsy but a good ligh

In this pack you get a desk clamp, sprung tensioned arm, a ring light with USB connector and a smartphone mount, a separate additional smartphone mount, remote and battery. There are instructions but fixing it all together is easy anyway. Fit the clamp, then arm to the clamp, then the ring light to the top of the arm. If you don’t want to use the ring lamp, then this can be removed, and the separate smartphone mount can be attached to the top of the arm. Not sure of the reasoning behind this because if you don’t require the lamp, then just turn it off!
The lamp comes with a 185cm cable (not detachable) which has a control in the centre, this control turns the lamp on and off, can adjust the brightness and the colour temperature. The light can go quite bright and is ideal for its intended purpose.
The arm has quite a lot of tension and is difficult to bend into position, I first thought the elbow bolts were tight preventing easy moving, but this was not the case, I expect these will slacken over time and then I will need to tighten the bolts to help hold its position. Even though these joints are quite tight, the arm is quite flimsy and does wobble around quite a lot, however as there is a remote provided to activate the smartphone camera, there is no need to touch it once set up and so avoiding any wobble.
The base of the arm slots into the bracket, the bracket is not heavy duty at all and can be easily over tightened onto a desk, although there is a rubber pad on the top, the underside has no protection and can cut into a wooden desk if overtightened. Further to this, the section of the arm that slots into the clamp is just a hollow aluminium pin, having had similar arm and clamp arrangements in the past, I can almost guarantee that this will snap off if care is not taken when swinging the arm into different positions.
The additional smartphone mount that is provided is of very low quality and I am unsure why it is provided in the first place.
So overall, the light itself is great, nice and bright with adjustable brightness and colour temperature, the cable is just about long enough and the smartphone bracket in the centre of the ring light is quite solid and strong. The arm and clamp are a bit flimsy, and the additional smartphone bracket is of no real use. The addition of the remote (and a battery) helps enormously to avoid camera wobble.
Bright and versatile lighting for multiple applications.
Given the size of the box, I was amazed at the reach of the cantilever frame, it can literally cover just about any application, from close up to a wide high shot.
Built and installation is easy, bit there is a small instruction guide if you get stuck. Once built, you just use the clamp to attach it to a.solid surface, the clamp is quite large so will accommodate most desks/ tables.
The light itself is very bright and consistent providing excellent coverage. Adjustments can be made to the brightness (10 levels) and colour tone (3 tones) via the connected control box. Power is provided via USB which increases portability by freeing you from being tied to the mains socket, There is complete freedom of movement on the light via the pivot points, you can easily find the right position and once found, there are locking screws, although it already has plenty of tension.
If you want to take video/pictures, the phone clamp is in the centre of the light to prevent shadowing. It works really well and limits the glare that you get from normal overhead lighting. The included shutter remote, once connected to your phone, allows you to have complete control while minimising shake or accidentally altering the positioning.
Overall this is an excellent light source and it’s.versatility is brilliant. You can use it for anything from photography to a low cost work light. The only criticism I have is the clamp, I would have liked to see some sort of rubberised coating to prevent damage to the underside of the table etc but this can easily added by the user.
Nice light for product photography or working from home
I was sceptical but this turned out to be a great little product.
The clamp fits a wide variety of desk thicknesses, even my desk at 1.5 inches and would go thicker still.
I’m currently using this as a front facing light just behind my webcam as the lighting in my home office isnt great and this lights up my face perfectly and gives that professional lighting look on my work calls!
Id certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a ring light at a great price.
Excellent light and stand
This light and bracket appear to be well-made, multiple functions and orientations are possible with the bracket that should cover all needs, the light is bright with several hues available including warm, natural and cold. The stand can be used for a variety of functions I even use it with my miniprojector and it is strong enough to hold its weight, the standard screw ending will fit cameras and other electronics that use a screw fitting. Good buy, one thing to point out it appears the cable must be connected to the mains via USB, this is not a battery light.
Rather splendid for small product photography
First off, this is very easy to install, the provided desk clamp has a lot of adjustment meaning it should fit most desk widths without issue.
The light itself is both adjustable for colour temperature and brightness via a controller hardwired into the power cord, which is USB A and of sufficient length to allow positioning pretty much anywhere on your desk providing your power supply is also on the desk/table.
As other reviews have stated, the phone holder is fixed, though this shouldn’t really be too much of an issue as the arm itself whilst plenty strong enough for a phone would struggle to hold a camera of any size.
In use the light is flicker free and the arm is stable, to help this even further a bluetooth shutter remote is included in the package to be paired with your phone for handsfree operation.
When not in use the light folds up neatly out of the way.
I have been using professional lights for many years but have to say that this is a pleasant change, easy to use, easy to access and perfect for work where a phone camera is adequate for the task.

Versatile ring light set up for home usage
This is a very nice ring light for use with your mobile for photos or video. It will never be bright enough to light up a room by itself, however it is quite adequate for close ups of products or as a fill light.
As a former professional photographer, I have used many studio ring lights and this one is fairly typical, producing a modest hotspot in the centre with a soft shadow around the edge of subject. For the purposes of most people though the light will be soft and even, especially if there is no background immediately behind the subject.
At this larger size it also has a reasonable spread, so it is quite flexible with the freedom to set both colour temperature and brightness thanks to the wonders of LED. The small remote for taking pictures or videos is welcome and was a doddle to set up. On a side note, I was impressed that it came with not just a battery, but also a spare as a reserve.
The stand is made of metal and I think that is essential in something like this if you want it to last. Assembly is a doddle, though I struggled to attach the ring light the first couple of times due to some stiffness of the connecting ring that then loosened a little. The stand is really quite flexible and stays in place without needing to tighten anything, though the springs do make an occasional noise that can be disconcerting.
The mount holds my iPhone securely and it flexible with both tilt and rotation. It even has hot shoe slots on the side for attachments. My only disappointment is that there seems to be no means of removing that phone mount to use an alternative if wanted. There is a metal bolt there, however it is seemingly locked in place and immovable without potentially breaking the it.
Amazing how lighting has improved since I was little
To think that you can have a light that is this bright, consistent, multi-temp AND it can be run off a power bank is amazing.
This is a great bit of kit and really makes a gigantic difference when doing selfies and vlogging. I don’t do any of these things but I was impressed as it even turned an ogre like me into something lovable when I tried it – I’m not too bad if the lighting is right!
I have ordered this mainly to use as a light for when I’m soldering tiny connectors and the reason this is particularly useful for that is that it is a ring that I can see through – my other lights get in the way of me seeing what I’m doing!
It’s nice and light and although not what I would call sturdy, it is accurate(stays in place) and as long as it is not abused it will last for many years. I didn’t ‘t find it difficult to find any angle I need.
It comes with a remote shutter button for the camera which has dedicated buttons for Android or IOS and it pairs as easily as you’d expect – turn on, pair in bluetooth settings and it works. The shutter button is particularly useful for steady shots.
I thought you would be able to dettach the phone holder in the centre of the light ring but it seem you can’t – it REALLY seems like you can but I’m afraid I will break something if I put more force than I already have. It looks like you could unscrew it with a hex/torx bit but nothing I have fits so I then tried mole grips to no avail. It’s still amazes me typing this because it’s knurled as though you should be able to unscrew it with your fingers!
Anyway, It’s flexible, provides superb lighting and is easily mounted – fully recommended!
Carful with the phone
This is fine. The light is good and the clamp is nice and secure. The problem I had with my iPhone 12 is that the holder connects with the volume buttons on the side of the phone. This not an isolated issue for this type of holder, as many more have the same problem. Overall ok
I have a large number of items to photograph for sale, many of which require overhead shots. After looking at a few different units, I decided on this one as it has an important, fundamental feature that other options have not adopted: it positions your phone *within* the light ring rather than in front of it.
For all the models that position the phone lower than the light itself, all its going to do is cast an unwanted shadow of your phone on what you’re trying to photograph. A pretty fundamental design flaw—but not with this model.
It attaches quickly and easily to your table, and the flexible arms allow you to articulate the light and camera to virtually any position and angle you need.
The light is bright and I love that you can change the color temperature from warm to cool, as well as adjust the brightness.
