I’ve waited a while to review these in order to write an honest review. These are wonderful, fat, solid pillows. You can remove some filling if you want them to be less firm, but they are perfect for me. They haven’t lost their puffiness with use. They suit me me when I’m lying on my back reading, or sleeping on my side. I’ve been years searching for the perfect pillows & these are just perfect. I think that they are just the most amazing value for money. Thank you Martian Dreams; you’ve made my sleep blissful.
Only used for a couple of nights so far, but, wow, what a difference!
I have a newish, firm memory foam mattress that I struggle to get comfortable on. Thought I’d try upgrading pillows before buying yet another mattress and it appears to have done the trick. I only need one of these pillows for a good sleep. Very comfortable, soft and return to shape after use. Like the washable covers that come already fitted too. Quite expensive at 40 for 2, but you’re getting what you pay for. Not used for long, but happy that I gave them a try.
This pillow is wonderful! Very supportive yet moulding as well. The company has the most excellent customer service – they sent me some more filling, free of charge, and when the zip broke on the pillow cover, I contacted them and they immediately sent me two replacements, again free charge! Would not hesitate to recommend.
These are very comfortable pillows. I’ve had no neck issues since buying them.
Customer support is also excellent. They sent extra filling for free. As it happens, I preferred the way they were before so took the extra filling out. I suppose they know what they’re doing when they fill these pillows.

Perfect, clever double cased system. It means you can open it up, re-fluff it up, take out or add filling as desired.
I don’t even want to add up what I’ve spent on pillows, right from 6 packs of cheap ones, down, solid memory foam, bounce back etc. they were all either too high, too low, or if I got a decent one it would start to get lumpy and flat within a few weeks.
These ones on the other hand, are amazing! They are supportive but soft. I didn’t detect any strong smells (others I’ve tried never seemed to loose that sickly odour).
The outer bamboo pillow case is lovely too, I did sleep on it a few times, but I want to protect it further – so I still put my pillowcase on top.
One thing to note, is be careful opening up the inner zip, as the traditional filling tends to get caught in it. I’d recommend standing it on its side and pushing down the filling and be patient. There’s not really a lot that could be done by Martian for this, only a minor niggle. And nothing worthy of removing a star – because I’ve weirdly looked forward to getting my head on my pillow- I’ve been sleeping much better already.
I did ask for extra filling, because one of my “pillows” I have extremely hard as a support- and I am extremely hard on my pillows it seems. The other I actually removed some filling from, to get the perfect balance. The customer support is fantastic, UK based, and painless experience overall. For 90% of people it wouldn’t even be needed. But it’s nice that it’s there.
This is probably the longest review I’ve ever written here. If you’re on the fence with these. Do it! Oh and don’t freak out when they arrive like vacuum packed pancakes, they fluff up within minutes, I found them totally usable after half a day sat on my bed.
Soft and moldable material, perfectly wraps around your head. Just the right amount of filling but comes with a card where you can apply for more. Pillows dont get hot and stuffy and are smooth on the skin. Fast and caring delivery, overall a highly reccommend 🙂
At first when I took them out of vacuum packs I was a bit underwhelmed but then I gave them a gentle shake & plumping and within an hour they looked & felt heavenly. This is my third night with pillow…I’m really unsure how to describe…ive never felt a pillow like it, its like my head & neck melt into it, without getting a face full of pillow or material and whilst also offering support without being too soft or firm, and i find it cooling too. I’m 37 with rheumatoid arthritis affecting my shoulders & elbows etc, I was intermittently using an orthopaedic pillow from ikea but I found it too hard to use every night, this pillow is on another level, my joints & neck feel so supported in a more natural way. I bought two, and ones enough so I gave other to my brother who is also very pleased with his. Also upon registering for 5 year warranty it didn’t send me the email to validate so I emailed company who were friendly & quick replying & sorting it out.
Martian Dreams will also send you more filling if you want extra support. The case is mashine washable and tumble dryer friendly so no need for a pillow protector. They are also OEKO-TEX certified so great for the planet. Trust me stop browsing, just get these, best pillow out there, and a great price. They are slightly larger than my old pillows so check your current pillow case sizes, as you may need to splurge on new ones, but these pillows are worth it.

The 2 pillows arrive boxed in vaccuum packaging, you are advised to leave 48 hours for them to expand to maximum fill, they come with a beautiful zipped cover, protecting the inner great quality cotton zipped pillow, along with a card, telling you how to register the 2 pillows online for their 5 year guarantee cover, yes 5 YEARS.
On the card it advises, if you feel you need extra filling to go to the website indicated, state your order number & pillow description.
I did cover my 2 pillows with pillow protectors & pillowcase, just to protect the amazing cover they come in, but that is zipped so can be easily removed for washing
After trying the pillows for a week, I only needed 1 as they do have a good loft & 2 on top of each other 2 high for me, I decided to send for the extra filling & it arrived no problem the NEXT day. Since placing the filling into the inner case, & still plenty left over, I feel for me I have my DREAM PILLOWS.
Martian Made as a Company are just FABULOUS to their Customers, there is no hassle contacting them on their websites, you receive lovely replies & to offer extra filling free of charge, is above & beyond normal. I feel sure into the future they still would help.
I expected the filling to arrive in a plastic bag, but oh no, it arrived in a good quality blue nylon pull string bag, inside a vaccuum plastic bag, the filling is sooo soft, made up of shredded blue foam & soft lofting material, when you lay your head on the pillow, you feel no lumps or bumps, just ultimate comfort, they weigh quite heavy when you hold them, BUT very little ‘fluffing up’ the next morning, they just seem to bounce back into a good loft pillow. The price for the quality of these 2 pillows, I feel is reasonable & i feel i will not have to replace inside the 5 years of the guarantee provided, so over time work out very cheaply for 2 pillows.
I often do reviews, especially if a good product, but have to say on this occassion I really wish I could score more than 5 stars, as in my opinion apart from the pillows being so well made & presented, for me they are just PERFECT, Martian Made as a Company offer the most outstanding service, I have ever received in some time. The pillows were suctioned and once opened, air enters them to allow them to expand. I felt I needed more filling, so sent an email to the address on the enclosed card requesting same. The response was very fast. The filling arrived! First class service!
The pillows have a lovely washable outer quilted zipped casing and inside that, another quality zipped case containing the filling. Such an easy job, I placed some in both pillows fluffed them up and they looked good, for the first time in years I was excited to go to bed!
I honestly couldn’t believe it, but these pillows are squishy, cuddly and soft with bouncy support. I waited until a couple of weeks of use to give this review. Honestly, I fall asleep faster and sleep better and my neck is much easier to cope with.
After two weeks the pillows are as new, I just fluff them up each morning and actually look forward to getting into bed because I know I’m going to have a much more comfortable nights sleep after all these years! I’m amazed at the service and quality, not to mention the comfort. I highly recommend these pillows, although I cannot know how long they will stay as they are, but with a great 5 year warranty included I’m not too worried as they do feel so different to any I’ve had before.
