This finds the spot for me
I’ve had problems with muscle stiffness in the pelvic area. This roller, when used correctly, helps to massage muscles by laying down on the floor and pressing and rolling on it. It’s good exercise that I can do and I can leave my glasses on, held in place by my Specs-Delight, while I’m doing it.

Very good quality and sturdy foam rolle
The quality of the foam roller was very good. It was sturdy and strong. It was a great in reducing tightness from the body. The size of the foam roller was long, so was perfect to use all over the body.

    Great muscle releaf
I love the firmness of this roller and it hasn’t gone out of shape with regular every day use. It’s great for relieving stiff back muscles which are hard to reach.

    Smaller than expected
The quality of the product is very good but it turned out to be a lot shorter than it looks on the photo so I was very sorry that I didn’t really use a ruler to see how long it will be.

    Love this Foam Rolle
I love this foam roller! I have been using it to help with tight muscles in my neck and shoulders. It’s so comfortable to lie on to do these exercises and it’s great quality. I am so glad I bought it!

    Great foam rolle
This is a great foam roller, I had one before which was not great because the size was just not comfortable, this one is a very good size in terms of length and the width of the roller. The colour is very nice as well. I can really feel it work it will last a long time. I would highly recommend this roller if you are looking to buy a new one.

    Good produc
I have tried some foam rollers with trigger points. I found sometimes a few parts of muscles might be skipped due to the gap between the points. So I got this one. I am happy with it so far.

    Sturdy and strong
Good quality, nice and solid and sturdy-feeling foam roller. It is strong, dense foam that doesn’t lose it’s shape and there is no chance of it caving in or breaking like some foam rollers that are hollow.
It arrives with a paper sleeve around it that shows you some basic exercises, which is a nice addition.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersAmazing! I even bought another one!
It’s great! I even bought a second one (the blue one).
It is true to size: 15cm x 45cm and true to the colour in the images.
As someone in their 20’s who works in the film industry and has a lot of back pain; my physiotherapist advised me to buy a foam roller for some exercises. I looked on Amazon and found this one to be the most reliable. I bought the black one first and loved it. It’s soft, great quality and relieves my pain. It comes packaged like the blue version in a brown Amazon bag.

It is lightweight/soft but also firm/sturdy and does not feel ‘cheap’.

It is so helpful in relieving pain that others who also work in the film industry wanted to buy one too.

When I bought the black one it was 10.83 compared to the price at the moment which is 19.99. Goes to show how much people like it. However, definitely worth the money in my opinion.

So, At first I wasn’t keen due to the join between the two halves feeling a bit sharp. I also wasn’t keen on the feel of it. But I’m glad I stuck with it. First can I say how amazing and helpful their customer service team are. Nothing was too much trouble. Their only flaw is that they possibly didn’t fully sell the construction. I spoke to my physio about the join and she said rollers that are two halves stuck together are much stronger and last. She encouraged me to persist. Ones that are one unit do not.

I’ve found the length wonderful. I rest out my spine a lot. I also use it to elevate myself off the ground to do chest weights. Basically like a bench. It’s also good for rolling out two legs at once. I use it in conjunction with a small trigger point roller which I find better for knots. And after a workout. It is nice looking and I actually keep it on my bed sofa in the day like a long neck rest. It looks good. It might have room for improvement but in all I think they have done a really good job.

I’d give it 10 stars if I could!
This is a great product, I run 25k’s a week and have found my legs are sore and stiff the day/s after my run. Using the exercises provide with the roller and some on the internet my legs are noticeably better, muscles no longer feel tight and movement is a lot easier. I use it everyday and due to its sturdy construction it’s holding out. Only regret is that I didn’t buy one a long time ago.

Firm exercise roller for getting out muscular knots
I bought this as I needed an exercise roller to tease out some painful knots in my thigh, calf and hamstrings. The firmness is just right for applying even pressure to the muscles and then sustained action on the painful areas. I have used this piece of equipment for over a week now and have had excellent results. Very good value for money and highly recommended.

    Great foam rolle
we bought this after experiencing aches and pains after our long walks (a friend told is to buy this one) it has helped ease our aching muscles and especially the back ache we were experiencing.

it’s durable and I’m sure it will last a long time.

    Changed my life!
I could not imagine that I would need this thing so much!! One of the best purchases this year! Whenever I feel that my back is stiff and starts to get painful and uncomfortable, this thing relieves the pain in less than 5 minutes! And this review is honest, not paid and not influenced by anyone! Really liked that it is not too hard, but hard enough to crack my back and massage tired back muscles while I am simply rolling on it without a pain!

Well made, bit hard for me though
Item is as described but it seems a little bit hard for me. It doesn’t flex much and for me it can be quite painful on my back. This could be entirely a “me” problem though, I have no idea if they are supposed to be this way.

Perfect balance of firmness and comfo
Had previously purchased another roller which was a lot harder and meant for deep tissue massage, it caused so much pain using it that I didn’t want to use it (I know that pain is a given with these but it was too much). This one is much softer but still does an amazing job to get the majority of knots out.

If you’ve tried the harder rollers and couldn’t get on with them then I highly recommend one of these!

    Perfect firmness, quality item
I felt a bit overwhelmed when I went to buy my first foam roller (just re-started at the gym and found out they are now part of everyone’s warm up). This foam roller is actually the same one we have at the gym and that one is fine and obviously gets a lot of use. Mine feels equally good; really firm, sturdy, lightweight and good quality. I went for the 15-45cm size and I can easily roll my back over it. I think its perfect for the job, I can certainly feel where I have tightness and need to roll and I’m looking forward to less of the tightness as I use it more regularly!

    Bought for sore back muscles.
I’ve suffered with muscle pain in my back for years so having tried many things I thought I’d give foam rolling a go. I do regular spinning classes and am using the roller before and after. The instructions are really good, and you can find plenty of foam rolling exercises on line. When you do find that trigger point it does really hurt but it’s a nice kind of pain. I’ve only had it a week so let’s do how it goes in the next few weeks but so far so good. It’s good value

Great for pinpointing painful trigger points.
I bought this because I wanted a roller without the nobbly lumps you get on a lot of the cheaper rollers; I had a cheap nobbly one before and was missing the trigger points in my hips between the nobbles.

With this roller I’m able to get the pressure exactly where I want it to work on my tight trigger points.

I really like the length too, it gives me the space to shift side to side as I roll so I can really pinpoint the painful areas in my hips.

Five stars from me, happy customer.

Recommended to me by a sports therapist.
Never had anything like this before until I had Achilles tendon pain (apparently a common issue with runners and high stress sports activity – the calf gets really tight and caused the Achilles pain in my case). A physio recommended I did calf rolls. It seems to be working quite nicely but needs working at daily. I asked somebody who is a sports therapist which roller they would recommend I purchased. The Maximo was their choice for patient and personal use. The roller comes with instructions on how to use it for lots of other muscle group massages, these are easy to follow. In summary this is helpful bit of kit and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg (but will help both!).

... the calves as explained on a Youtube by The Joy of Pain Free Running
Bought this as advised to roll the area surrounding the IT band and the calves as explained on a Youtube by The Joy of Pain Free Running. As this isn’t knobbly like the one I previously purchased, it’s a lot easier to follow the instructions in that video and I found it’s done me a world of good in terms of pain to the outside of the knee, which I hadn’t previously been able to achieve.
So far it seems resistant and it’s also a bit wider than the other one I own, so it’s easier to do to legs and I might try it for my back as well.
