Clever little bath thermometer (which pleasantly looks like a rubber duck).
The temperature reading activates automatically when I placed the duck in the bath and within seconds it would flash blue (for too cold), red (for too hot) or not flash when the temperature was just right. It also displayed the temperature on an LCD panel on the back of the duck.
Generally this worked well – in the water the duck was a little off balance sometimes (and doesn’t self-right itself), but placing the duck gently in the water works (until the little one knocks it about). Also, when finished, the duck needs to be on a dry surface (otherwise the temperature monitoring will keep going and drain the battery)
Overall, this is simple to use, and not offensive to have floating in the bathtub.
I use this when preparing a bath for my grandaughter. I usually do an elbow check but this gives me a rough idea of the temperature. Floats well in the bath water and easy to read
Have used this for 2 years now and even bought friends it at a newborn gift. Use it every time we bath our daughter. She likes playing with the duck too!
This is a great, really cute thermometer, our little one has a current obsession with DUCK DUCK DUCK. So really handy for ensuring the bath temp is perfect for them. Its a really good price so can’t grumble.
My daughter has sensory issues so keeping the bath water at a certain temperature is always a struggle.
This nice little duck thermometer has a sensory in the bottom that measures the levels while floating in the bath.
It has a clear display that shows the values and has different coloured LEDs that flash when it drops too cold or gets too hot.
Great value overall.
