Night vision seems OK, but I have a few “could do better” points of note.
    In my opinion…
    1. The “ergonomics” are (not) perfect ref all the control buttons being (so close together) in the centre of the unit on the top, making it far too easy to press the wrong button whilst using in the dark. This can be frustrating!!. If your out and wearing gloves even more a problem.
    2. A proper “optical zoom” would make these far, far better. Digital zoom has it’s limitations, and when taking video or images using digital zoom, the image becomes not so clear, so you loose detail!.
    3. If using for any length of time, the side grip tends to get a bit uncomfortable whilst holding them, and they are quite a heavy unit.
    4. LCD is nice and clear, but if using these close up to you eyes like real binoculars, the surrounding thin rubber eyecup can be “very uncomfortable, and very scratchy”, close to your face, and not a snug fit on your face. Just my opinion.
In summary, whilst these do a good job at night vision, they (my opinion) could be better designed to make them very good, and not just good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but the ergonomics could be better designed, and an added optical zoom would make them better.

Fantastic infrared binoculars, easy to use, lightweight and pocket size, they are menu driven which is easy to follow, and sit comfortably in your pocket or backpack, the screen gives a good image and the infrared sensor picks up items very well in the dark.
