This pen was just what we needed whilst we bond our 2 rabbits. Its sturdy and can be used to fit any space. We used cable ties to add extra support but it will stay together well without.

I bought this for my rabbit to keep him in when no one is home. Really customisable and easy to build and fit in a variety of areas. The gate is perfect too as it makes getting him in and out so much easier.

I wanted to give my indoor cat a little outside space. He is a largish boy so I never thought this would hold his weight and just wanted it create a cage. I’m pleased that the result is fairly sturdy and will happily sit in place without needing to be attatched to the wall. Be careful when assembling of sharp bits of plastic on the connectors or any over hang of the mesh. That aside it did take some arm strength to get the pieces to attach. (The included mallet is useful sometimes but I found myself just using brute force with more ease!) It’s great that I could extend this with another kit , though I’d consider adding a supporting wall in the middle as I think the roof would need it so as not to sag more using it with one side open as I am. Sure it’d be great for rabbits or gunia pigs but it works great for cats as long as its secure enough relative to their activity. (Despite being larger my cat is very timid so I’m not worried about him trying to jump or climb or knocking into it.) Overall would definitely recommend for its affordability and adaptability!

Good idea and sturdy, and value for money, but please PLEASE THINK BEFORE BUYING FOR A CHINCHILLA…. even though its says for a chinchilla and the squares are only 4cm wide, 1st time using it and one of mine managed to squeeze through and the other one got half his body through and was wedged, we nearly had to cut the metal to release him, but he managed to work his way backwards and got his head stuck, so took a bit of freeing him.

I have 4 chins and all 4 could get their heads through it. Have had to request to return it for a refund and try and find something else with smaller squares.

It is an easy product to assemble, and a good idea, just not for a chin that can squeeze down their bodies to fit through small gaps.

Love this product – it comes with so many pieces I’ve built a main cage in the lounge on 2 levels and have a mini one in the kitchen. Plus still more left.
Easy to build on one level a bit trickier adding the second level and knowing how to build a ramp or steps. Have got round that by using bricks as stairs and a small piece of carpet for the flooring, otherwise their legs will slip through the holes.
Guinea pigs were 4 weeks old when bought this and they ran straight through the holes so I had to tape the first and second holes to keep them in. 4 weeks later and I’ve been able to remove the tape now they are settled and don’t want to escape!
It looks good and enables you to make it into any shape to fit any room which is helpful. Not adding the roof level makes it so much easier to pick them up, otherwise they cleverly hide somewhere you can’t reach them!
Overall 100% recommend and I wouldn’t want any other type of cage than this one.

Two very happy bunnies with their upgrade. My free roaming bunnies have been converted to a home they love. I created this into a 2 storey space for them and its surprisingly sturdy, goes together easily and isn’t an eye-sore.

The additional 5th star would be earned if there was an option to choose or later add more pieces to extend it. And have a better secure on the door. I’ve added a clip from their old pen to secure it overnight but they can easily open it.
