    Exceeded my expectations
An inexpensive purchase but exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable. The Ingersoll is a little thicker than I expected but I can still feel the ground beneath my feet. Surprisingly warm in cool weather, but well ventilated to avoid sweaty feet. I’m glad I bought these and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again.

With feet like a duck, I normally struggle getting my wet feet into these kind of slip ons, but these were perfect. Very comfortable and well made, light weight. Perfect.

    Great for martial arts
I use these exclusively for my martial arts lessons, after injuring a toe when bare foot. They work really nicely for that, just the right level of ‘barefoot’ feel with a little extra protection and grip. So for me, these are ideal, and so much cheaper that other ‘barefoot running’ alternatives. But I cannot speak for outdoor use or running – just indoor floor work.

Bought these 1 year 3 weeks ago. Have used them every single day around the house, and outside when trekking to the corner shop 0.5km away. They are superb, really comfy and lightweight. They look and feel flimsy – but have lasted 1 year – did not expect that. I will probably reorder every year – they are that good.

Stood on a weever fish while on a beach in UK. The initial agony had me dreading ending a gorgeous beach day and having to sit for hours in A&E. Luckily it subsided. My foot ached on and off for months afterwards, until I did a 10mile + hike blister formed bled and whatever remnant of the blasted fishs’ spine was inside my foot finally came out. Lesson learned – wear something on your foot when at the beach. Haven’t worn these yet but tried them on and they are comfy. Seem perfect for the job.

These are the beach shoes we’ve been looking for, worn everyday for 2wks either round the pool, in the pool or on the beach, comfortable from the 1st wear and throughout, washed up well too.
We’ve gone through so many different pairs of beach shoes and wasted so much money but glad I’ve found these

    Mum says 'thank you'
Bought for my mum, had 2 separate deep incision operations for a melanoma, in her big toe plantar/sole area. These shoes were a massive help, my mum couldn’t wear normal shoes for best part of 6m. And she wore these outside, she added an insole for more comfort. She also washed them, many times. No splitting, talking soles, velcro still effective at closure. Without these she would of struggle to go out, the price was excellent for the daily price per wear. Many people stopped my mum asking ‘where she got them from’! I needed to leave my feedback to help other potential customers. I have a pair used for steam/sauna at the gym and very happy with my pair. More than 5 stars. Thank you

    Great alternative to barefoot shoes
I do a lot of walking and these keep my feet comfortable all whilst providing the benefit or a ‘barefoot’ shoe for a great price. I would have preferred black laces so they were more incognito when i wear them to work so I just coloured the laces in with marker myself!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersVery good beach / water shoes
Upon opening the package, I was visually very impressed with the look of the shoes, but doubtful as to how long they would last due to the canvas type material being very thin.

I used these for an entire week of beach exploring, snorkeling and general roaming. They are excellent!

Lightweight, flexible, comfortable, stay on feet, while diving into the sea and swimming, including snorkeling and rock/ cove exploration. They dry well, whike walking about after being im the sea also.
I’m over the moon with them.

Although the material on the toes are thin, they lasted well so far.
I dare say, they will eventually wear a hole and they definitely could do with a reinforced rubber toe area, however they are great and highly recommended.

They look alot more expensive also. Happy with the light grey colour also, other people commented on them and asked where they were from.

*photos aren’t the best, but all I have.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat value for money
I take these hiking when I know I have to cross rivers. They are really lightweight, don’t take up too much space and were perfect for walking through rivers with a pretty good grip. They fit well, are comfortable and dry in a reasonable time. I also use them for paddle boarding and think they’re perfect for that.

Light and comfy, nice for general about the place when slippers might not do, very breathable and so maybe not quite suited to wet days unless getting your feet wet is the intention lol

Good but collects a lot of sand.
Collects a lot of sand inside and hard to clean out. Also found that it was quite slippery on some wet rocky beach surfaces and did not grip as well as I expected for the price.

Buy half a size down and they will fit like a glove!
Was surprisingly pleased with these water shoes. There’s lots of different shoes to choose from and I’ve tried a few before but they felt very flimsy or uncomfortable. I’m a size 11 shoe but chose a size 10.5 and they really do fit like a glove. They have a simple draw string at the top of the shoe to tighten them and they don’t budge at all, they were surprisingly comfy even after wearing them for several hours and walking on some quite rough surfaces in them. After using them daily for a months holiday they still look as new as the day they arrived, would highly recommend them!

    Not vibram....thankfully
So looks like a toe fit right? Yeah it’s not, but that’s a good thing.

Size is about half a size up, I went 8 its defo 8.5 and loose. Velcro undoes every 5 mins in the sea so feels like a sardine is trying to flap its way into your shoe. As with most swim shoes, the sole bit comes out most of the time but normal I guess.

They are fine, takes a while to dry but I am sea swimming in October in the UK so I’m at fault there!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersComfortable and practical
Wow, I was surprised at how minimalist these are. Weighing hardly anything and having a hardy sole with drainage holes, these seem durable but only time will tell. Loops front and back of the ankle make for easy wearing, coupled with the adjustable elasticated laces I get a good fit every time even with my wide feet. Walking around has a natural feel, I know I am not barefoot but the interface is more sensitive than trainers. I have only worn them around the house for now but the insight gained makes me confident that in a watery environment these will do just fine.
Be aware though that sizing should be via the EU standard as the seller has no idea about the UK standard (45=10.5 not 11.5).

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersNice cheap way into barefoot shoes
I got these, as other have, as a cheap way into barefoot shoes before spending big money on a leading brand. With the insoles removed these have been a great way in, to get my feet used to the new way of walking. I’ve been for a few walks now in various conditions and I can say they have performed very well. The best advice I can give is to ease into it, don’t wear socks. Avoid puddles and too much tarmac and you will be grand. Only reason they loose a star is due to the laces. If you want them a tight fit, you end up with a really long dangly lace which you have to try and tuck in somewhere to avoid stepping on.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersAffordable barefoot shoe alternative (vivobarefoot, etc)
Although these are advertised as a water shoe I bought a pair as a low cost alternative to trying out barefoot shoes, without spending a whole load on the leading brands (looking at you vibobarefoot!)

I am not disappointed in these at all, they have virtually no structure, and once you remove the small insole they’re like wearing no shoes at all. Zero drop, zero structure, exactly what you want in a barefoot shoe

I am a runner, and as such was interested in wearing barefoot shoes to strengthen my feet, I can’t always be actually barefooted. These work great for that. I am not running in them, only walking. You probably could trail run in these but it’s not something I am interested in doing, although I might try them out for a beach run one day.

I saw a review that says these are fashionable … Please, they absolutely are not and they look pretty awful but if you’re interested in function over fashion they’re perfect for that.

Size up. I bought a 9, I wear a 8.5 in normal shoes, these still a little tight. I could have gone up another size I think.

I got caught out in the rain and they dried super quick too.

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersExtremely comfortable shoes - Muti Purpose
Had a standard pair of trainers with the usual slightly raised heel that eventually split from various leg exercises in the gym.

My gym friend recommended flat shoes (lifting shoes). The ones designed for gym use were coming up to 100 and I wanted a cheaper option.

These came up and lots of reviews were talking about swim and beachwear, so I was unsure if they’d be suitable. For 20 went for them anyway.

These are absolutely incredible shoes. My lifts / form in the gym have changed; your toes have way more space and will splay out a little to help give you support and balance. Comfortable and just a pleasure to wear.

In fact, they’re so nice, I’ve started to wear them on walks / short hikes. Zero “rubbing” or blisters so far. I love the idea of “barefoot” shoes and if you’re dabbling in the concept then these (I think) are a cheap and good starting point.

    These are my takeaways.

    PRO
    – Very comfortable to wear.
    – Breathable (you can feel the wind around your toes as you walk outside!)
    – It feels like you’re walking without shoes on (barefoot).
    – More natural support / stability in the gym from your own body / feet.

    CONS
    – The sizing seems off. I’m a 9 but upsized to a 10 and they’re perfect.
    – Probably not suitable for all weather. Can imagine your feet would be cold in Winter.
    – They take on water immediately from puddles or rain (although they do dry out fast).
    – The design underneath looks like a footprint. I don’t mind this, but they stand out and won’t be to everyone’s taste. I’m looking at others from this brand next as they seem more “trainer” looking.
    – Little sole padding / support. This is the concept of “barefoot” but, if you’re used to very supported trainers / shoes, moving to these (which are no thicker than a pair of flipflops) could be a shock. Although I was used to them in a week of daily wear.
