    Long time Philips shaver user but after a faulty Philips 9000, tried a Remington and it’s great. Swivel heads as well as the whole head pivoting, decent shave, decent battery life and USB A charger (USB A at one end, bespoke connector into the shaver).

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNov 2023: My beard has always been thick, and I have been shaving with Philips rotary shavers (top of their range) for 30 years. This is the first time I have tried a Remington (X9), and I am so impressed! I could not imagine that shaving could be so smooth and precise. As for the current price, it’s a bargain. 11-03-2024 update: I just bought a second one at the latest unbelievable price! I can have it in my travel bag and replace the second Phillips that I had in there. Try to shave near the nostrils with a Philips! Impossible! This does it beautifully! I would not change it for any Philips.

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a very nice shaver, good build quality as expected from a leading brand like Remington. It is cordless and fully rechargeable, a dedicated USB charge cable is supplied. I put the unit on for a full charge overnight, a full charge takes a few hours and lasts a long time too, the handset has power level indicator lights.

    With the unique pivot ball swivel head the floating shaver blades are sharp and effective adapting to all contours, the power and efficiency gives a quick and close shave, leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth. It is great for sensitive skins because it very comfortable to use and has left next to no irritation. Comes with a few accessories including an interchangeable clipper head and guide comb for trimming and a handy storage case to keep everything together.

    If i’m honest, this shaver is expensive at an RRP of about 200 (at the time of review) although there is a current 50% offer which i feel is much more appropriately priced.
