I own many exercise bands of different types, tubes, loops, bands with handles etc. These exercise bands are the kind you get from hospital physios for physical rehab but serve well as portable versatile exercise bands and generally the least expensive because there are no handles or grips on them, you just basically grip the ends and ensure you hold on but being rubbery material, that’s not too much of a problem.

What disappoints me about this set is that, they are not long enough for a complete range of exercises such as standing shoulder presses. The product images show the higher tension bands to be much longer but these are not. Even the lowest tension yellow band is unable to stretch long enough for a standing shoulder press.

Aside from that misleading factor, the bands are capable of giving a wide range of exercises for a full body workout, just not as much variety as longer stretch bands can give.

Four bands of different tensions are provided, and the tensions do give a good range.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as long as shown in product images so less variety of achievable exercises

These are really simple resistance bands – they have no handles or grips, which is both a pro and a con. A pro because this actually makes them more versatile in terms of use, a con because you have less grip.

They are quite stretchy, I liked that you got 4 in a set and they were varying strengths, meaning this set can grow with you.

Also comes with a bag you can store them in.

This is a set of four resistance bands which come packaged with a drawstring bag. The bands are labelled Light, Medium, Heavy and X-Heavy. Each band is 1.5m long. There is also a leaflet with four exercises to get you started.

The bands themselves are about as simple as you can imagine, no handles, just a strip of latex or something like it. Note that they are not loops, just a length with two ends. You can still do a lot of exercises with them but be aware that for a little bit more you could get a set with a wider range of resistance strength and handles to grab onto — though the advantage of not having handles is that you can grip them wherever you want so not having exactly the right length is less of an issue. There are other types of resistance band too so make sure this is the one you want.

Still a good start for someone on a tight budget or for whom this type of band is all they need.

So first things first, these bands are decent quality, they come in four levels of resistance, each in a different colour, and they have a nice little bag to keep everything in. The problem with them might be unique to taller people (I didn’t have anyone shorter available to test them out) but if you’re looking to use them for standing-up exercise, they’re probably not long enough for you – which is a bit of a problem.

Like I say, for seated or yoga sort of things, these work fine but the length is something to be aware of.

They’re decent enough for the price though.

In this set you get four resistance bands, all of different strengths, a storage bag and some information leaflets. Each band is colour coded to the strength to make it easier for you to work through them, starting at the easiest resistance and working up to the strongest.
I looked online for videos to get the best out of the bands and there’s so much you can do. I’m just a beginner, so starting out doing the simplest of stretching exercises, mainly focusing on my arms and building up some core strength. You can even use these sitting down, so if you’re an absolute beginner, or have mobility issues you could still get started right away with these. They all feel nice quality, I feel confident using them and they’re a nice width. This is a good value set, made of steady material and it’s a said that will grow with you as you become stronger and more confident using them. They are also good to grip, so far, I haven’t noticed any slipping whilst using them.

This is a review of a free product.
In the package you get X4 bands ranging from light to hard, each one feeling tighter / stronger as they get tougher. These are great for working out at home, or taking to the gym – the pack comes with a carry bag.
The only downside is each band was in its own plastic bag which I feel is unnecessary plastic waste. You get an over-powering smell of the material as well – which is to be expected, just very strong.
The bag it comes with is of quite cheap material, some other products come with a mesh bag which I think looks a bit nicer taking to the gym, but most people have their own gym bags anyway, so this really isn’t an issue, just pointing out.
9.99 you can’t go wrong really, great bands at a great price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good bands, handy for home workout and travel

The bands themselves are good and have nice resistance throughout the stretch rather than some which are suddenly change and come with a neat bag to keep them in.

At 1.5m they are a too short for most of the exercises shown, 1.8 m is probably the minimum to do them. I use a lot of resistence bands and found the lightest (yellow) weight on these a litle stronger than some of the same resistance.

I would like to know how the weights are measured, is it at a certain stretch distance and is it consistent between brands.

The bands each come in their own plastic (non recyclable type) bag and then the four come in another one which is a little excessive I feel in these days when we are supposed to be cutting down on packaging.

The bands themselves are good, just a little short to be able to do all the exercises demonstrated.
