Rodent Bait Station Required

Due to recent changes in rodenticide regulations all non-professional operators must use a tamper-resistant bait station when using rodenticide for rats and mice – this is a condition for all UK & EU registered products.

This listing does not include this bait station however a wide range of box kits including our extremely popular Roshield Baiter stations that include a large bait rod that can hold in excess of 10 blocks are available.

Roshield Baiter stations are suitable for both rats and mice and can be used in at risk environments such as around pets and other animals.

Smaller single block boxes are available for internal mouse control. This is recommended as mice generally prefer to eat from multiply food sources.

For an average rat infestation we recommend that installation of 2 bait stations per infestation/garden. For larger areas additional stations will be required.

A persistent family of rats took up residence beneath our garden shed. Unfortunately, we tried a number of humane deterents but all to no avail.

So, as a last resort, we opted for the poison route – something we had successfully used a number of years ago. I still had the rat sized bait boxes – and I reutilised them loaded with some of these blocks.

After a few days all evidence of the rats has disappeared. I will leave the bait boxes in situ (under our shed) for another couple of weeks just to be sure…..

So, this may not be our favoured way of preventing rat infestations but it certainly is effective. We and our neighbours, are pleased about that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very effective

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis rat bait/poison is very easy to handle (but you MUST wear protective rubber gloves) it is comprised of a hard waxy compounded mixture of I guess: wax, a food mixture, and what is very likely an anticoagulant all formed into a polyhedron shape. The bait pieces are quite large and can be skewered onto the rod provided with the trapping box. I put about four of these onto the skewer and fixed them into the box and placed it close to where our resident rat had been seen scurrying about. Within a day or so we saw the rat running about haphazardly in the back garden in broad daylight and then for about a week or so it was seen no more. I checked the box and although there was no dead rat (that was to be expected – since it probably went elsewhere to die) but the bait blocks had clearly been nibbled and chewed. So I closed the box (gloves worn again) having added more attractant (see separate review) and replaced it on the basis that rats frequently have runs to and from a food source – so where one goes, others will follow. I’m very pleased with this product.
