RUAMUAFLY Car Phone Holder [2024 Material Upgraded] Mobile Phone Mount for Dashboard Windscreen Vent, Suction Cup Phone Stand Van Automobile Cradle for iPhone 15 Pro Max 14 13 12 11 SE Samsung Sat Na
My first tip before you buy this is that if you are going to install this using the air vents from your car, make sure that your air vents are higher on your dash. The lower they are, the more likely this will be too low and obstruct with the console or your gear stick.
The suction seems good but at the end of the day, it’s a holder with a suction suction cup! All holders with one are hit-and-miss. They will all need re-administering every so often.
Overall I am pleased with this and would recommend it because the device is so versatile in terms of how it can be positioned and bolstered to stay in position.
The plastic feels a little flimsy but this also makes it lightweight.
I use this in my hgv every day and had no issues with it, its sturdy enough and holds my S23 in it over all the potholes this country has. I highly reccomend i
This is a versatile phone holder in that you can install it in multiple areas of the car – you can stick it to the dashboard or windshield using the suction cup, or you can clip it into the vent.
The adhesion on the suction cup seems to be pretty strong – I haven’t had any issues with the holder falling to date.
My phone is fairly large (S24 Ultra) but it is held securely in the phone holder with room to insert a charging cable at the bottom.
For 19.99, it does a good job.
This phone holder is really sturdy, it’s made of high quality heat resistant materials. It provides excellent stability and strong adsorption, allowing it to firmly adhere to the windshield or dashboard and can accommodate multiple sizes of phones. One thing that attracts me about this stand is that it is extendable and can rotate 360 degrees to adjust the angle you need. In addition to this stand, there’s also a ventilation stand, which is a pleasant addition.
Finding a reliable car phone holder that withstands the rigours of daily use and the bumps of the road has proven challenging until now. This holder stands out for its durability and the secure grip it provides, even when navigating through rough terrains. The ability to easily wash and reuse the suction cup without losing its stickiness is particularly useful. The ease of adjusting the holder to various angles ensures that the phone remains at the perfect viewing angle, enhancing safety while driving. The single-hand operation feature is a thoughtful addition, making it convenient to place or remove the phone without distraction.
This phone holder is pretty substantial and does the job as expected. It gives various options for fitting and will cover most people’s needs. It can be mounted on the air-vents, on a smooth dashboard surface or on the windscreen.
The base is the strongest and stickiest I’ve come across on a phone holder like this and it really takes some effort to remove it once fitted. This means that it should stay in place and not drop off like some others do when there’s a big temperature change outside the vehicle.
There are two buttons (one on either side of the phone holder) to release the phone and this is a good thing. Some holders like this just have one button and often it’s on the wrong side, so two buttons give much more flexibility.
All the adjustable screw tightening knobs are easy to tighten and keep everything from bouncing around too much when driving and hitting the ubiquitous potholes!
The two different mounting options are handy to have if you intend to swap this phone holder around for use on different vehicles, but if you’re only ever going to use one, then then it’s a bit of a waste.
Overall, this is a sturdy phone mount with various fitting options to suit most situations and vehicles.
A great phone holder for any car. Comes with multiple ways to affix to the car – either above the dashboard, on the windscreen, from the air vents or some other way. Very strong and easy to connect.

Ruamuafly have done a great job creating a largely adjustable and solidly constructed phone holder that provides extremely good grip. Unfortunately this can also be a cause of frustration as, due to a lack of rotating base, it’s necessary to completely remove, clean and re-seat the entire mount every time you need to swivel the arm left or right.
That gripe aside, the mount is extremely sturdy with almost zero wobble when correctly tightened, and it’s suction power – both on a flat plastic dash and on a clean windscreen – are truly impressive. The phone and the mount remain firmly in place, even when tested on bumpy country lanes.
The main arm tilts and extends outward, and the ball-neck allows the phone screen to angled up, down, left and right to a small degree. The phone is held in place by adjustable arms with foam pads that grip well, and a lower ledge can be raised and lowered to accommodate most smartphones in either portrait or landscape, all whilst being plugged in and charged.
The set also comes with a secondary mount to attach the mount to flat and square air vents, which also works well and is a very handy addition. The included instructions are also comprehensive, well written and easy to understand.
Overall this is a very good mobile phone mount that performs its primary task extremely well, remaining stuck firmly in place. The lack of a rotating mount is the only reason I couldn’t award a full 5 stars.
Experience enhanced stability with the 2024 upgraded design, featuring a suction cup that firmly attaches to your dashboard or windscreen with strong stickiness and suction power. Made of high-quality heat-resistant material, it can be easily removed and reused after washing, providing you with long-lasting convenience.
Enjoy compatibility with thicker phone cases, thanks to the 0.96-inch deep clamp that securely grips 99% of heavy phones with thick cases. The wide clamp accommodates phones ranging from 4 to 7 inches, including popular models like the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Google Pixel, and more.
Benefit from a longer and sturdier telescopic arm, made of 100% PC material and advanced technology. Stretching up to 8 inches without shaking, the arm allows for flexible positioning, and the bracket can be adjusted to any angle with its 360-degree rotatable range.
Experience effortless single-hand operation with 2 “one-click release” buttons, designed for easy use by both left-handed and right-handed users. Additionally, the optional mounting on the vent includes an upgraded elongated steel hook compatible with a wider range of horizontal or vertical air vents. The non-slip silicone surface enhances shock resistance, ensuring your phone stays securely in place.
Navigating the city’s potholes and uneven streets, the durability of this car mount stands out. It clings to the dashboard without faltering, a testament to its robust build. The suction cup’s resilience is noteworthy, easily handling the summer’s heat without losing grip. Adjusting the arm to view navigation maps or to take calls is smooth, without the jitteriness experienced in other mounts. The added bonus of being able to mount it on the air vent offers flexibility depending on the vehicle or preference. However, for those with particularly heavy phones or bulky cases, the clamp might feel a bit snug, requiring a bit more finesse to secure the phone properly.
I like that you get two options for installing this phone holder, via an air-vent fixing or a dashboard/windscreen mount using combination sticky pad and suction.
Unfortunately I am unable to use the air-vent option as the vanes in my air-vents are just too close together and I can’t fit the little clamp between them. So I am forced to use the sticky pad mount, I am aware that obstructing the windscreen is actually an offence, so I have mounted mine on the dashboard.
I did wonder if it would work on the dashboard as my dash is quite curved an is made from a textured material, I needn’t have worried, the sticky pad worked extremely well and once the suction was applied, by flipping a lever, it is very securely fixed. The arm on the mount is adjustable for length and height and the actual phone holder has a ball joint to change the angle the phone sits at. I am impressed that even with the arm at its full length there is no shake or wobble It is useful that if it is necessary to move the mount the sticky pad can be reactivated by washing it in clean water.
The business end, the holder itself is well made and solid, it also holds the phone very securely and the soft-open action gives a feeling of quality.
I think that this is a very good product and at a very reasonable price, given the two mounting options.
This seems to be a very solid little phone holder with varying options on mounting.
I have gone for the vent mount as it’s the most discrete but the suction cup worked well on both the windscreen and dash of my 2023 MG HS.
The vent mount works extremely well, clamping down on the vent slats with no problem at all, something other vent mounted holders have failed with.
The actual phone clamp itself is very secure and even after driving down some very bumpy farm tracks there was no movement at all, even when the phone was in landscape orientation which means it’s really only held at one end.
In fact, that would be the one improvement I would make. It would be nice to be able to somehow fold the bottom part that holds the phone (When in portrait orientation) back so that you can slide the phone further along when in landscape and hold it in the middle.
Like I say though, the holder seems to be secure so it’s a minor thing really. Obviously time will tell on durability, but right now I’m very happy with i
This item arrived in a branded box.
You can choose between attaching the arm to your dashboard or by using the smaller attachment that fits into the air vent. I chose the smaller attachment, and it’s easy to connect to the actual phone holder and to secure into the air vent. It has a small hook on the arm that secures it to the air vent.
When you put your phone into the holder, you squeeze the sides together to grip your phone, and to release it, you squeeze the smaller arms in, and it can all be done one-handed, which is a bonus.
My phone was secure in the holder and as my phones charger is positioned in the center on the bottom it can also be charged while in the holder.
I have no issue with this item and I have no qualms in awarding this item 5s.
For 20 this is a good quality well made, all round mobile device holder for you car or van with two ways of attaching by the sucker pad or via the air vent, I have been using with a 15 pro max on the sucker for the last few days and is stable with little movement, the tip is to make sure the surface is clean and dry before fitting so it has maximum suction, not used the air vent adapter but you can see this has the longer air which would give this that extra strength used in an air ve
I got this phone holder for my husbad as he likes to use WAZE to navigate when driving, and wanted a suction fitting attachement rather than the type that holds to the blower vents.
I gather from him that this one actually does both. You get three parts – the part that holds the phone (his is an iphone XS Max) and two methods of attachment – the suction type and the vent type.
He reports : “it was very easy to fit and does the job – it holds my phone”
He mentioned that it’s preferable to have the window squeaky clean for the suction / sticky part. You partially unscrew the nut, pop the holder part in, tighten the nut, use that for positioning and done. He’s happy
Easy to put together and a nice range of adjustment options. I’ve had the unit on my desk for the last day or so to check what the suction is like prior to putting it in the car (and risking the whole thing falling off the windscreen whilst driving). My phone is fairly weighty (iPhone 13 Pro Max with a credit card case). If the reach and angle are adjusted to the max then the device stays in place for an hour or so and then becomes detached. This is attached to a perfectly flat desk surface, so should be indicative of how it would behave on a windscreen. If I only adjust it by a small margin (reach and angle) then it stays in place.
Arrived as part of the Amazon vine review programme.
Fitted easily (I chose the windscreen suction pad for my Mitsubishi PHEV), good strong adhesion with sizeable suction cup. Solid once fitted.
Pros:
Very well built, looks like it can take some real punishment.
Feels very solid and locked in place once installed (movement can be locked off well).
Good adjustments (rake and sideways).
Suction cup has adhesive already added – to help when fitting to dash / windscreen etc.
Good phone release buttons to help with quick removal.
Cons:
Nothing found as yet, quite impressed really for this money.
Conclusion:
A cheap but well made product that fits either to a cars vent, dashboard or windscreen – giving you extra options. if like me, you have limited space for vent fittings – then this is phone holder for you.
Thanks AMZ
This is a well made and finely engineered phone holder. The finish of the parts is excellent.
The “sucker” mount is actually coated in adhesive, as are most similar screen phone holders. It fixes on the windscreen very firmly and requires some effort to remove, although it does seem to come off without leaving any residue/adhesive. It’s probably better to think of it as a semi-permanent fitting on a screen.
The phone can be inserted into the mount and clamped in place using one hand, similarly, one handed demounting is easy. The additional vent mount provides an alternative fixing system (if the car has the right air vents) which is also easy to clamp onto the vent laths with the quick turn hook-like clamp.
In use it’s a stable mount, if the screen mount is used at the long end of its adjustment, some “bounce” can be caused on rough roads or bumps/potholes.
My car has this little area to put your phone in, next to a USB port, but apparently, the manufacturer didn’t bother measuring a mobile phone before deciding how much space to allow. It just isn’t big enough to hold a phone. So, I’ve been struggling to position the phone to avoid the cable getting in the way and interfering with the gear stick.
This gadget solves that problem. I’ve opted for the air-vent clip, which was easy to install and stays stable in use. The phone holder itself is flexible, allowing you to change the angle of your phone, and it firmly holds the phone with cushioned sides that release their grip at the press of a button. The slow-release feature with the button gives it a touch of class. I was a bit concerned that the air-vent clip didn’t feel very secure or permanent. However, after multiple uses, I haven’t encountered any problems, so perhaps that’s more about the car vent itself than the holder.
Regarding the alternative method of connecting, I didn’t try it properly as my dashboard is high up, curved, and not smooth, so it didn’t feel appropriate to have it up there. However, there’s a very ‘tacky’ base on the phone holder (which is washable to reactivate the tackiness if needed), helping secure a seal to the dashboard. There’s also a flip-button that creates a vacuum to secure it to the car. I’m confident that, with the right dashboard, it would work perfectly well.
The pack also includes a soft-feel cable clip, which is a nice added bonus.
Good quality phone holder that can be attached to either the windscreen or dash with the sticky suction cup and which can also be repositioned if required.. Also comes with an attachment to use on the air vents if preferred although this is less secure.
Easy to attach phone and takes phones of all sizes – easy one hand action to release phone.
