My first tip before you buy this is that if you are going to install this using the air vents from your car, make sure that your air vents are higher on your dash. The lower they are, the more likely this will be too low and obstruct with the console or your gear stick.

The suction seems good but at the end of the day, it’s a holder with a suction suction cup! All holders with one are hit-and-miss. They will all need re-administering every so often.

Overall I am pleased with this and would recommend it because the device is so versatile in terms of how it can be positioned and bolstered to stay in position.
The plastic feels a little flimsy but this also makes it lightweight.

I use this in my hgv every day and had no issues with it, its sturdy enough and holds my S23 in it over all the potholes this country has. I highly reccomend i

This is a versatile phone holder in that you can install it in multiple areas of the car – you can stick it to the dashboard or windshield using the suction cup, or you can clip it into the vent.

The adhesion on the suction cup seems to be pretty strong – I haven’t had any issues with the holder falling to date.

My phone is fairly large (S24 Ultra) but it is held securely in the phone holder with room to insert a charging cable at the bottom.

For 19.99, it does a good job.

This phone holder is pretty substantial and does the job as expected. It gives various options for fitting and will cover most people’s needs. It can be mounted on the air-vents, on a smooth dashboard surface or on the windscreen.
The base is the strongest and stickiest I’ve come across on a phone holder like this and it really takes some effort to remove it once fitted. This means that it should stay in place and not drop off like some others do when there’s a big temperature change outside the vehicle.
There are two buttons (one on either side of the phone holder) to release the phone and this is a good thing. Some holders like this just have one button and often it’s on the wrong side, so two buttons give much more flexibility.
All the adjustable screw tightening knobs are easy to tighten and keep everything from bouncing around too much when driving and hitting the ubiquitous potholes!
The two different mounting options are handy to have if you intend to swap this phone holder around for use on different vehicles, but if you’re only ever going to use one, then then it’s a bit of a waste.
Overall, this is a sturdy phone mount with various fitting options to suit most situations and vehicles.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, functional and with a very sticky base.

Ruamuafly have done a great job creating a largely adjustable and solidly constructed phone holder that provides extremely good grip. Unfortunately this can also be a cause of frustration as, due to a lack of rotating base, it’s necessary to completely remove, clean and re-seat the entire mount every time you need to swivel the arm left or right.

That gripe aside, the mount is extremely sturdy with almost zero wobble when correctly tightened, and it’s suction power – both on a flat plastic dash and on a clean windscreen – are truly impressive. The phone and the mount remain firmly in place, even when tested on bumpy country lanes.

The main arm tilts and extends outward, and the ball-neck allows the phone screen to angled up, down, left and right to a small degree. The phone is held in place by adjustable arms with foam pads that grip well, and a lower ledge can be raised and lowered to accommodate most smartphones in either portrait or landscape, all whilst being plugged in and charged.

The set also comes with a secondary mount to attach the mount to flat and square air vents, which also works well and is a very handy addition. The included instructions are also comprehensive, well written and easy to understand.

Overall this is a very good mobile phone mount that performs its primary task extremely well, remaining stuck firmly in place. The lack of a rotating mount is the only reason I couldn’t award a full 5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Superb suction and good grip, but base doesn't rotate
