Skullcandy Sesh ANC In-Ear Noise cancelling Wireless
Skullcandy Sesh ANC In-Ear Noise cancelling Wireless Earbuds, 32 Hr Battery, Microphone, Works with iPhone Android and Bluetooth Devices – Black

Key Features of the Item
Welcome to premium, 4-mic digital active noise canceling. Unlike 2-mic systems commonly found in affordable noise-canceling products, Sesh ANC can detect and cancel noise in the full range of sounds you can hear. In addition, our Clear Voice Smart Mic is the closest thing to talking in person. It’s optimised for vocal clarity and uses artificial intelligence to reduce background noise.
Really good, amazing battery life!
I had the standard 14.99 Skullcandy earbuds before, fine but battery life was 2-2.5 hours tops so not really suitable for intended use. So I got the Sesh ANC buds and what a world of difference! Great sound quality, amazing noise cancellation. I mainly wear stacking shelves in a UK supermarket before we open and I can’t hear a thing except my tunes!
And battery life is so good. I’ve listened to tunes 4 hours straight and not run out. Then you pop in case for rest of day for cheeky top up and repeat. I’ve easy done 5 days on the trot listening to them 3 hours at a time and still not needed a recharge at the mains!
i adore them
i have went through SO MANY bad expensive headphones. beats, beats studio buds, airpods, every generic headphone brand out there, my experiences with them have been terrible. but no pair of earphones have surprised me so much and given me so much joy. THESE EARPHONES WORK BETTER THAN ANY PAIR I HAVE OWNED OVER DOUBLE THE PRICE.
the battery is PHENOMENAL i swear i have used these things for 8 hours in a row and their battery hadn’t even dropped below halfway, they don’t make that annoying squeaking noise my beats made when they were low on battery, they’re not AS clunky as they seem and don’t poke through my beanie when i wear them. I have literally no complaints at all besides from the fact they seem to have gotten quieter over time? i’ve only owned them about 2 months but the audio seems to have dipped in how loud it can go but then again it could just be earwax? or an ear infection on my part? i haven’t gotten around to cleaning them so i’ll update my review if this issue persists
Great music experience
I purchased this for my wife for Xmas and she loves them, she is very impressed with the comfort and battery life. The range has also be surprising where she has left her phone and easily roamed our house remaining connected and listening to music.
***EDIT: connected to my phone in the other room, I tested the distance away from the device to see if there was any connectivity or latency issues. None, I’m talking 3 Camaro RS lengths if not more and no issues.
Goodbye wired xbox headset
OG REVIEW
I saw a sale going on at my local meijer on these things, checked Amazon and I saw it was cheaper. No brainer right?
Buying these I had no idea the versatility you have with these! You can turn off the noise-cancellation, turn it back on, then there’s an aware mode.
What else I like about them is when you want to pause your music or turn the volume up or down- depending how long you press and hold down either button on either earbud determines the function, it has its own timer and beeps/sort of vibrates to let you know it’s understanding you and your input instead of you doing something expecting a result and it does a completely different function- which is nice. Pressing on the buttons while using them does NOT hurt your ear either; the silicon buds provide enough shock absorption you won’t hardly feel anything.
You can use it to answer calls too, and the call quality may not be as crisp as the new air pods, BUT it has a longer battery life. Take that as you will.
Now these are also Skullcandy- they aren’t some Sony or Audio Technica studio level audio quality. These are “go for a walk/run/gym session” or traveling headphones for the road or airport level quality.
I’m a fan of Skullcandy too. I have a wired pair that I used back in 2010-2011 that had lasted me since then and other bluetooth ear pieces I’ve used the battery didn’t last long as I liked or their touch sensitive gestures didn’t read my input right, eq was unbalanced or not enough bass. I wanted those rich mids with complimentary highs with just the right treble and balanced bass. I wanted the same level of quality or better from earbuds as I had experienced with my old wired Skullcandy’s withoutbuying Skullcandy’s until this time around I bit the bullet
If it still delivers, don’t go looking for another brand and disrespect yourself. Make the investment, you won’t regret it.
Connectivity isn’t much of an issue either. There’s a couple steps to follow if you want to pair it to a new device like anything else; other than that no complaints. Just disconnect it from your first device and treat it as a new connection (as described in the directions) and it should work just fine
Sesh ANC is over all good product. Recommended to all. Built quality is good feels comfortable. Overall sound is decent if you are listening to music. Not to much bass, but sufficient. It has tactile buttons on both buds (not touch buttons). So you need to put little pressure to press it. ANC function works well during the call. Awareness function also works well while listening to music. Made in Vietnam.
Had the jib 2s for close to a year, but because of a little inattention, I lost them. I had a good experience with them and I wanted to have a daily at work wireless in-ear headphones so I bought these.
The battery, with the NC off, are somewhat on par with my jibs, but the fact that these are about double the size and the case is at least a quarter fatter, makes me wonder where the space went.
The audio quality is good, no xm4s to be sure, but a good all-rounders. I’m no audiophile and the majority of audio on my phone are liberated audiobooks, argh!
I like the physical buttons and the lack of sensors and gyros my xm4s come with. You need to press a button to get something done and you don’t have the problem with accidental touch on a conductive layer or your media starting or stopping when you have your earbuds in the pocket.
I hate the shape of these buds. I hate it with a passion. I think its trying too hard to find its own shape… I might be subjective. I also dislike the fact that you can’t just swap between ears. Again I’m not an audiophile and I don’t have a huge interest in the quality of the reproductive, unless its so poor it’s noticeable.
The case is bulky and nothing more to be said about it.
The water and dust resistance is very important for me and after the first day in the actual field, sun, sweat, dust and grime, they held up nicely.
The noise cancellation feature is meh to say the least. Nice that it’s there, but nothing to write home about.
The aps that you need to have the full features of the earbuds, the skullcandy app and the Tile… Fair enough… Not great, but alright.
I’ve had these for like 5 months and use them daily. I have tried a lot of wireless headphones before, from like $20 ones and to AirPods Pro. I am kind of picky and know what I want and honestly, I love these.
Pros:
– Battery life is awesome. I charge the case like once a week and the case keeps the earbuds charged even with daily use. They charge quickly in the case and last a long time when used (they last for hours, I don’t know exactly how long because they haven’t died on me yet). This was such a nice change after having my AirPods constantly dying on me.
– Noise cancellation is great. TBH it’s sometimes a little too good and I have to turn it off while at work because I can’t hear when people call me.
– They stay in my ears and don’t fall out. I have had a lot of problems with earbuds falling out when I’m like cleaning the house or moving a lot, but don’t have that problem with these.
– App was easy to use and get setup and I was able to customize the controls for noise cancellation and forwarding and reversing, etc really easily.
– Tile tracking is easy and really useful. I remember it being easy to setup when I first got them. I’ve never lost them in public but couldn’t find them in my own house and was able to use the Tile app to make them play a noise and was able to find them quickly (my mom was jealous because she is constantly losing her AirPods around the house).
Cons:
– They can be annoying to switch between devices. I am constantly switching them being connected between a MacBook, iPhone, and iPad. When I first got them switching between devices was difficult and frustrating, but I figured out the quirks and now it’s really easy. Basically, if you haven’t connected to a device before you have to turn the bluetooth off on any other devices you have connected to in range and then it’ll automatically prompt you to connect to the new device. If you are switching between devices you have connected before, as soon as you take them out of the case if you click on them from your bluetooth menu it will connect to that device – no matter what device it was last connected to. I hope that makes sense….. It’s convoluted but works great not that I have a system.
I tried these because I used normal old-fashioned Skullcandy headphones in middle school and high school in the early 2010s. I remember liking them then but had never thought of them as a wireless earbud company (nor realized they still existed). I bought my dad a different Skullcandy wireless earbud for Christmas that he likes and decided in January when my AirPods broke to try a set myself. Glad I did!
Fantastic
Was a little skeptical before purchase, but have liked Skull Candy gear previously. Bought to go with new phone that has no jack socket.
Absolutely fantastic ear buds. comfortable, never feel like they’re coming out. superb sound quality, not even any noticeable lag when using with laptop for gaming. Battery life is as described, lasts most of the day drowning out distractions in office.
Would buy again!
Yep, I didn’t secure one of the buds properly in my ear and it fell into my piping hopt soup… carrot and parsnip since you asked. After fishing it out with my spoon. A quick wipe down, removal of the tip to extract as much carrot from the speaker as possible. Sure enough, worked immediately.
These are loud enough and the noise canceling is extremely good for this price point. Battery lasts plenty long enough for even the hardiest of soup eaters.
Great product. Highly recommend.
