Trust Gaming GXT 835 Azor Gaming Keyboard with QWERTY UK
Trust Gaming GXT 835 Azor Gaming Keyboard with QWERTY UK Layout, LED Lighting, Game Mode, 12 Multimedia Keys, Anti-ghosting, Membrane Wired USB Keyboard for PC, Computer, Laptop – Black
Full Control
Thanks to the 12 multimedia function keys, it’s possible to access a variety of functions, from playing music to starting a search. Besides that, the keyboard features a game mode switch, which disables the Windows key, making sure you won’t accidentally exit your game.
Grandson loves i Grandson needed a new keyboard for his computer. The pc I recently built for him has 5 argb fans, 4 sticks of memory again with argb and a cpu cooler again with argb. This keyboard which includes led lighting works perfectly with the same effects as inside his pc and he is over the moon with i
Solid keyboard but not what I wanted Bought this as I thought the keys would be back-lit, I have difficulty seeing the letters later in the day and wanted one similar to my husband’s without paying over 80. Kept this as a spare for the kids and just bought the same one as hubby has in the end. Serves me right for trying to skimp lol
Sound of the keys I really like the sound of the keys it’s very satisfying and goes well with my setup. 0 regrets for buying this and it’s also very cheap compared to other keyboards in the market. Only thing I’m not happy about is the amount of presets for the lighting and the brightness
Pretty basic, but fu A step us visually from a basic keyboard, but although it looks a lot like a mechanical keyboard, it does not function at all like one, with pretty mushy input which is not particularly great to use, but also not the worst.
The illumination is also kind of mimicking proper RGB backlighting, and although it does work well to see the keys in the dark, you cannot change the colours, and I don’t really know who would want both Red, Green, and Blue, at the same time.
Overall, this is a cheap copy of a high end mechanical keyboard, which I find odd, however although it’s massively compromised, it’s not a lot worse then comparably priced membrane boards overall. If you want to save money, you could do worse, but please do not buy this as a Christmas gift for a teen gamer that’s looking for a mechanical gaming keyboard, as it will disappoint!
Looks great, nice feel to i A really good looking RGB light up keyboard. There’s something about a wired keyboard with big keys that just feels right. This one from Trust Gaming looks great, has a nice feel to the keys and has a wired connection so no problems with signal issues or regular battery changes.
Price point is fair and reasonable and overall a good value for money product.
A fairly decent cheap feeling keyboard as expected for the price. Let’s start with the fact that this is a fairly cheap membrane keyboard, and while it feels okay for a membrane keyboard, it’s still not the best for typing.
On the other hand, it’s a good size with nice big keys, and the RGB lighting is lovely and bright with 3 customizable options. It would have been nice to see the lighting come through the actual keycaps, but again, at this price, I shouldn’t complain.
If you want a budget-friendly RGB keyboard, there are certainly worse options than this.
Its a good keyboard Trust me.... A nice keyboard thats generally nice to use and type with.
No ghosting or missing key presses at any stage.
Not the fancy mechanical keys you can find on keyboards that cost 7 times more, but this works just as well.
Plugs into the PC and if using Windows, it will as expected, install and work immediately.
No issues with the back lighting either, everything worked.
Good value, recommended.
Rainbow wave illuminated wired qwerty keyboard Disclaimer: This came in free of charge through the Amazon Vine program. I’ve had no direct contact with Amazon Vine or the manufacturer. The opinions are my own and no one is reviewing my comments before I publish it. I pride myself on reviewing items fairly and objectively with the consumer in mind.
I’ve been using this keyboard with my work setup for the last week, and I have to say I’ve really enjoyed it. It obviously was intended for gamers and has a distinct gamer feel to it, but I quite enjoy that and the colours seem to perk me up.
There are 2 optional step heights to raise the back and anti-slip rubber feet. Having had plenty a keyboard break at the step height clips, I was pleasantly surpised at the novel design and how strong and secure these felt. They would definitely stand up to a battering on the keyboard.
The backlit lights can either be off or 1 of 3 rainbow wave colour patterns (see photos). These are very bright and colourful lights and create quite the presence in a dark room at night. If you want to make this more subtle you can adjust the brightness with the function key and the two bightness (lightbulb) keys.
The keys are set quite high, assuming to allow for better illumination. This is definitely a ‘clicky clacky’ keyboard so bear that in mind if you prefer a soft touch keyboard or work in a quiet office environment.
There are 12 function keys and a button to control the backlit options. It has anti-ghosting so allows for up to 8 simultaneous key presses. It is wired, which felt like a step backwards for me but I can imagine the backlit lights would quickly consume batteries. In a way, it was quite refreshing not having to worry about spare batteries for a change. If you need a manual for the keyboard, this can be found online.
Overall I think this keyboard is fantastic and sold at such a reasonable price, I just wish I had the matching mouse now!
Grea Admittedly I’m not the target audience for this because I’m not a gamer – but I did need a keyboard for my home office, so here we are. Visually this was great. The colours weren’t mega bright but there enough to do the job. USB connectivity with a woven outer jacket for extra protection from fraying, and I had no issues connecting to my laptop, it was very responsive. The keyboard is a decent size, the keys are a bit bigger than I’m used to but that’s not a problem. The box has no manual inside, just instructions to download from the internet. I only wanted to see the manual to change the colour settings and instructions for that were available on the website, but the manual itself gave me an error message when I tried to download which was a bit unfortunate. However, the keyboard itself does a fine job and I’m happy with it.
Nice colourful keyboard let down by spaceba Initial impressions of the keyboard are good, the key caps feel fine and they feel good for a membrane keyboard with one exception, I’ll mention it later. The keyboard follows the UK ISO layout and the font is nothing too distracting. They have placed the FN key and keyboard back lighting below the right shift area.
The lights are beneath the key caps and create a nice effect, there are three presets with different colour themes and you can turn them off with the fourth press. There are keyboards with more fancy lighting features but for this price point this is fine, it looks great in a dark environment and the branding isn’t distracting at all. You can adjust the keyboard the two different angles at the back of the keyboard, as the keyboard is slighting thicker in height than a normal one you may have to take this into consideration. Also the USB cable is braided and also has a stylised USB end, it’s a nice extra touch.
Now onto the typing experience, as a membrane keyboard this won’t be as noisey as a mechanical keyboard but there is still some tacticle feel and the sound is crisp. I have included a 43 second video of the sound. Unfortunately, and this is where the keyboard has let me down, the space bar is the weakest point of the typing experience. Upon touching it you can hear it click, unlike the rest of the keys and it doesn’t not feel balanced from one end to the next. Looking underneath the space bar you can see there is a slight gap which creates that rocking motion. Annoyingly the space bar is also screwed in by two screws beneath the keyboard, so if you want to clean the space bar or replace the two springs you’ll need to remove them first.
If you can live past the spacebar issue then this is a solid budget keyboard.
Some negatives but it is cheap so do not write it off. I am a gamer and this keyboard is designed for gamers we are told. It is definitely plug-and-play with Windows recognising it straight away. However, I have issues. 1. the keys are very high up off the base of the board and when using it for long periods this is uncomfortable, especially for typing. I keep missing keys that I need, not because they are not there but, because they are more difficult to reach. Perhaps this is just getting used to it. 2. The keys use a membrane they are not mechanical and any gamer will tell you that mechanical is what is needed for the reliability and speed of response. 3. There are three colour schemes and the brightness level can be changed by pressing the function key plus page up or page down. To get the wave effect press the function key plus the bulb key. You can change the speed by pressing the function key with the plus or minus key 4. There is no wrist support 5. It is not spill-proof 6. It is only USB1 when we are all USB3 these days 7. It is back-lit but not key-lit so gaming in the dark is not as much of an option as you would think. On the upside having media keys are handy providing you remember to press the function key first and keep it pressed and being able to lock out the “Windows” key is good too. With all of the negative comments, I am still giving it four stars because of the price. Given the price point, this keyboard is acceptable.
Good beginner gaming keyboard. Very well-decorated and branded box, and impressive product.
First impressions, very clean and full layout keyboard that cuts to the chase, slim and professional. One thing that stood out the most is that I really like how it is frameless, which some keyboards lack, this makes the keyboard less “clunky” and more ergonomic by taking up less room on the desk.
If you could call this a downside, it is a membrane keyboard, no fancy switches, but the keypresses feel responsive.
These days people have keyboards that have switches, but the difference is that this is meant for gaming, and I would say that for a budget one, it’s a very good entry-level and a stepping stone, so perfect for younger kids and teens.
However at the end of the day, it is still a budget gaming keyboard, there are no macros or quirky settings some may find helpful it is your bread and butter keyboard with some nice lights you can tinker with.
So I’d say this is worth it, better than any other generic keyboards that you’d find on supermarket shelves, as this one is pretty quality.
Good value gaming keyboard I doubt this keyboard will win awards, but if you want a gaming keyboard on the cheap then it’s worth a look.
It’s a membrane keyboard rather than mechanical, hence the cheaper price tag. Build quality is average.
The lighting is under the keys rather than shining through the keys, and you only get 3 lighting modes – nothing is customizable apart from brightness level.
It’s perfectly pleasant to use for long period – I played Genshin Impact using the keyboard for a couple of hours and was surprised at how good it was as I expected to get frustrated after a few minutes and switch back to my usual mechanical switch keyboard.
