I was looking for a record player that had built-in volume control and after trying a couple of others this was by far the best, the sound is great and the quality is very good, very easy to set up, I highly recommend.
Good piece of kit, well packed, easy to put together and plays your vinyl with clear audio.
Arm doesn’t return automatically at the end of play and additional speakers would further enhance the sound but overall a worthwhile investment.
Great sounds
I wasn’t sure what I was expecting. This beautiful record player turned up very quickly. Well wrapped. My husband opened it Christmas day, pleased as punch. I’ve been looking for a replacement one for years. After setting up with the belt and hefty turntable. Plugged in and connected to our marshall speaker. The tone was amazing. The speakers that came with it bussed a bit, but moved away from turn table all ok. Would really advise people to get one. *****
i bought my wife a ton of vinyl for Christmas and wanted to get her a turntable of her own. This is a great turntable and the speakers are surprisingly good for the price. Can’t really fault it for the price.
I bought this record player for my husband last Christmas and we are really pleased with it. Looks good AND sounds good.
Chose this one because I thought he may want to upgrade the speakers but so far he is really pleased with the sound quality.
We also get a lot of use out of the Bluetooth functionality, which means we can play music directly from our phones when we can’t be bothered getting up to flip a record or don’t have what we want to listen to on vinyl.
Set up was very straight forward, the quality is fantastic and the sound is crystal clear. I’d definitely recommend for anyone just getting into vinyl or for anyone like myself rediscovering a passion of the past in the modern day
Fancied getting a vinyl player for a while and saw this on Amazon. Checked out a few reviews on Amazon and YouTube and decided to get this one. Very straightforward to set up and operate. This biggest surprise was how great my 20+ year old albums retrieved from the loft sound. Blue connection a bonus too. Would highly recommend.
This looks superb. It looks far more expensive than it cost and feels like a quality piece of kit… I was very impressed the sheer weight of the deck. It feels secure and stable. It takes a bit of setting up and not for absolute beginners, though the instructions are clear and just take it slowly and you will have no issues….
Using it feels luxurious… the time it takes to gently drop the stylus onto the record is quite delightful.
The sound is excellent.
The supplied speakers are perfectly good for a small to medium room, but in truth, coupling up to bigger ones is recommended. My Mordant Short speakers are 35 years old and pack a whoppin punch… the sound is truly glorious. Rich, warm and full of detail. But hey… each to their own. If you could buy without speakers I might suggest that – but the deck is so good the fact I didnt use the supplied ones didnt cause me any concerns as this is still very good value for money. BUY ONE!
The turntable and speakers certainly look the part, a well crafted piece of furniture. More importantly, the sound quality is excellent, go light on the volume control because it has power!
It is very good value for money and brings your old vinyl back to life. I found it fairly straightforward to put together, just using the quick setup. My only slight gripe is the connection cable to install the supplied speakers, and in particular the fragility of the speaker connection on the turntable.

What a beautiful, simple player for anyone semi-serious in starting out a vinyl journey. (Or in my case, a re-discovery.) A clear, polished build with simplicity at its core, the Angels Horn turntable & speaker combo’ produced a deep, sparky resonance and a sound that fills a room. There’s real dynamic in its output.
We mistakenly bought a cheapy all-in-one a year or so back, which produced a nasty, faint, thin sound that probably destroyed our records as it went. Stumping up just a bit more for so much more was worth every quid. This is a gorgeous player. Just ignore the vinyl nerd snobs on the internet. Those guys will have you haemorrhaging your bank account for a player with almost zero discernible difference.
This Angel has the most beautiful of voices. Just buy it. K?
Fairly simple to set up. Setting up the counterbalance needed a bit of thought, but using a digital kitchen scale we managed to get it to 3.5g. Blown away by the beautiful sound of this kit.
My old records sound more crystal clear than I’ve ever heard.

Excellent value for money
Got my old vinyl out of the attic and played it on my old stereo it brought back memories but sounded bad. I am 70 and my younger wife who is all digital and Spotified up said that stereo is
Ugly and sounds bad, get a new one..I looked on amazon and read the reviews and on YouTube (I’m tec savi too) and came upon Angels Horn and decided to give it a go..Set up was easy and now vinyl is playing while I type this review. More than pleased, all records play well and sound is fabulous. Item is packed well and instructions good but plenty of set up tips in the web if your not sure.
I would recommend this stereo.
After 20 years I have purchased a new turntable. This product is simple to set, looks fantastic and sounds great. The option to have active speakers direct from the turntable or feed into an amp is great of you want to enhance the system in the future but it sound great just out of the box. So pleased with this purchase.
