Power pack Not charging my quest 3
Feels comfortable and easy to assemble. However the battery was unable to charge the quest3. I could still charge the quest 3 through another option.
I may have to return it if it doesn’t work after multiple tries.
Great headse
This is a comfortable headset with plenty of adjustment for most heads sizes. It comes with a battery pack that is fantastic for extended use time. Which has been great when watching concerts etc. It is really easy to put on and feels well connected when in place, so it won’t be going anywhere.
Overall it’s a nice strap and very comfortable. I can recommend if you are after one like it.
Pretty useful
Handy and comfortable battery pack equipped strap that vastly improves on the one provided with the Quest 3.
Firstly, the extra battery life is well needed. I get more than double the playtime when using this strap, and generally it charges well. I have had issues with leaving the headset plugged in and charging through the battery pack only. Sometimes when very depleted I have come back the next day only to find it has not really charged much. My solution to this is to charge the headset and battery pack separately, but this may not be necessary all the time.
It’s pretty comfortable to wear and does take some strain off the face. I do find though that the battery pack / rear cushion does not sit low enough for my liking, so ultimately means it moves about more than necessary even with the top strap fully extended. With that said, it still offers a decent counterweight, so at least the weight distributions is good.
One thing I do not really like is the button on it. I do not understand why it’s needed. There is no occasion when I want to switch off the battery pack, and I’m pretty sure I have done this a few times by mistake now. Hard to tell if it works as intended, but that may be because mine is not working correctly. Seems totally unnecessary to have a button there anyway.
Overall though, a big improvement and worth the price, despite some occasional issues.

Great for Meta Quest 3 users
This head strap is an brilliant accessory for Meta Quest 3 users. It is comfortable, adjustable, and has a built-in battery pack, allowing you to game for longer periods of time without running out of power.
Extended Comfort for Virtual Adventures
The VR head strap with an integrated battery pack has enhanced my virtual reality experiences. The adjustable design ensures a secure fit, and the additional battery life provides extended playtime. However, the strap’s flip-adjustable feature could be more intuitive. It’s a valuable accessory for Meta Quest 3 users, offering both comfort and prolonged gaming sessions without the need for frequent recharging.
Extended vr sessions without interruptions
The additional battery life it provides means I can immerse myself in virtual worlds for extended periods without worrying about running out of power. Its comfortable design, with memory foam cushioning, makes it easy to wear for hours. The adjustable hinge is a thoughtful addition, catering to different head sizes and shapes, ensuring a personalized fit. It’s a robust accessory that has resisted wear and tear despite frequent use. Why wouldn't you?
The biggest problem with VR headsets is the battery life, and the Quest is no exception. The 2 or 3 hours that you get from a charge is nowhere near enough if you are really getting into something or especially if you have friends or family round and are taking turns. Before you know it the battery is dead, which is where an add-on battery pack comes in.
This is is cheaper than the official one but works perfectly well and I can’t believe that the official one could be more comfortable than this. Basically, if you are frustrated by the battery life, why would you want to pay more than this?
Solid choice of head strap with great battery life
I have to say I really like this head strap.
Having tried others in the past I wasn’t expecting much but this one is great quality, and feels as good as it could do when wearing it with your Quest 3.
Solid build, great battery life, easy to use and easy to assemble (takes seconds) this is a battery headset that can extend your gameplay whilst not being too cumbersome to cope with.
It definitely helps balance the headset too – with the counterweight of the battery on the strap balancing against an otherwise front heavy VR headset.
Good product this and it should last for ages too
I can play longer since I have this head strap
Since I am using this head strap for my meta quest 3 I can see noticeable difference in the experience that I have while I play games because it has included a battery pack which makes my VR stay on for longer.
The battery pack extends the playtime significantly and this allows me to enjoy the games that I play for longer without worrying about running out of power and this is really helpful especially when I play tournament and I need to be online for at least six hours.
The design of the head strap is quite comfortable and it balances the weight of the headset nicely which means that it is reducing the pressure on my neck. This comfort is important for me because it means I can wear the headset for extended.s with discomfort or they need to take a break.
Installing the head strap was straightforward and it fits perfectly on my meta quest 3 and the battery pack doesn’t add too much weight. It feels secure and stable even when I am moving around a lot while playing.
These heads trap enhanced my VR experience because it provides extended playtime and it also improves the comfort while keeping the quest 3 on my head.
Comfortable to wear, extra battery power a welcome addition...
Looks a decent bit of kit straight out of the box, so the main thing to check is comfort, closely followed by battery capacity.
Once set up, it does feel very comfortable in use. I don’t normally like any ‘extra’ weight added to head gear (having gone through a number of battery powered head magnifiers/headlamps etc with frustrating/uncomfortable results). Needs must in this case however, as the extra battery capacity /runtime is the really the main point here.
The rear pad is just firm enough to the job without feeling constricted, while the top strap is super-soft, so much so that you can barely feel it touching your head.
The tensioner does the job fine, but I would have preferred a knurled finish to it as opposed to being completely smooth.
Battery-wise, it was flashing a single LED from unboxing, so a monitored charge was made to see how much it took until the pack indicated full.
Via USB-C at a little over 12V, it settled at a rate of around 1.43A for most of the charge, finally finishing after about 1.5hrs for a total of 1650mAh.
It will take a few discharge/recharge cycles to get a true picture of the battery’s actual capacity, so if it’s way out after a few uses, I’ll come back and update the review.
It’s a nice set, and at the current price of around 67 at time of review, it deserves a 4-Star rating.
Great head strap for the Quest 3
If you have purchased any of the Quests, you will know well that the original straps are far from comfortable and that factoring in a new strap is often a must for extended use. This Zybervr Head Strap with Battery Pack is one such example of those, and a strap that ticks all the boxes for what you would want.
Firstly, it is comfortable to use for hours at a time, which I cannot stress enough is so important for being able to enjoy VR (and personally a big contributor for me as to why more people don’t play VR more bar the price). The memory foam is comfortable (not getting too hot) and as a glasses user the ease of removing is greatly appreciated!
Part of the reason the Zybervr Head Strap is so comfortable is thanks to the battery pack on the pack, as VR devices are naturally very front heavy with all the tech in that area, so the weight of the batter helps to distribute this more evenly. On the battery, it is (again) another must as the portable VR devices are notoriously poor in battery life, and so this will not only provide you more power for longer sessions, but also help your battery last longer. I do wish it was larger though, as you can find others with 10000mAh capacity.
Overall, a great product at a fair price, with only minor room for improvements.
Must-have for serious gamers.
This Zybervr Head Strap with Battery Pack for Meta Quest 3 is very nicely designed and built to a high standard. I didn’t expect it to compete on any level but it totally overcame my initial doubts about quality.
The main benefit is obvious: the vastly extended running time from the generous battery pack. The other benefit is improved balance. The adjustable tension band and pivoting side arms should accommodate any required posture and this should help to relieve a lot of tension, especially during a long session.
The padded rear battery cover is held in place by hidden magnets which is a nice touch. I found I needed to push the battery mounting posts very hard to get them to engage and was worried they might snap off when removing it. As with a lot of devices, once you’ve got the knack, you can’t see what all the fuss was about.
Just as a quick test, I also lashed this up with a Meta Quest 2 (which has a much deeper visor) and it worked very well. There is a version available for the Quest 2 but the side straps on the Quest 2 can be easily unclipped and the Zybervr Quest 3 straps will fit on loosely and could be fixed with a couple of zip-ties or tape. The USB Type-C connector is on the correct side so that worked well too.
This head strap is extremely well-made and comfortable. The extended running time makes this a great add-on for serious VR enthusiasts. Highly recommended.
Great for glasses wearers, minor comfort issues
As someone who wears glasses, finding a comfortable VR head strap can be a challenge. This one is a fantastic fit. It accommodates my glasses without any pressure or discomfort, which has greatly enhanced my VR experience.
That said, the downward tilt design, while ergonomic, doesn’t suit everyone. I found it took a while to get used to and sometimes caused a bit of discomfort after extended use.
Vr battery pack
Got for my brother as he just bought himself a quest 3. Unfortunately he’s ALREADY sent it back due to other issues. But the battery pack was perfect as you only have about 2 hours of playtime before it dies. Easy to use too.
Comfort Meets Extended Playtime!
Behold the Zybervr Head Strap with Battery Pack, a game-changer for Meta Quest 3 enthusiasts! VR headsets and battery life — a tale as old as virtual reality itself. With the typical 2 to 3-hour lifespan, it’s like a race against time. But fear not, for the Zybervr head strap swoops in as the hero, integrating a 6000mAh battery pack right into the mix.
This contraption, a touch more budget-friendly than its official counterpart, doesn’t compromise on quality. The construction is top-notch, and the installation process is a breeze, thanks to a manual that reads like a VR enthusiast’s dream guide. Plus, the rear battery pack compartment is a thoughtful touch — imagine the possibilities of swapping it out for a fresh one!
Now, let’s talk comfort. The rear padding is a cloud-like memory foam cushion, surpassing all its VR predecessors. It’s the type of comfort you’d wish for during the mother-in-law’s unexpected visit — extending gaming sessions for as long as you desire.
And let’s not forget the practicality of extended playtime. Whether you’re immersed in a gaming marathon or planning to survive the in-law’s visit, this head strap guarantees you won’t run out of juice. Movie nights on the go? Always covered!
In the grand world of VR accessories, the Zybervr Head Strap with Battery Pack emerges as the unsung hero, making every gaming session and movie night an epic adventure!
you definitely need a battery headstrap
This is the second battery headstrap that i have for the meta quest 3.
It was very easy to install onto the headset (as was my other headstrap)
very quick to charge (much quicker than my other headstrap)
and does exactly what you hope it would do by extending game time. (as does my other headstrap)
It looks good and well made.
there is a weight add on to the headset but it does feel better balanced now.
The only downside to this battery headset is when i look upwards i can feel it touching the back of my neck which momentarily takes away the immersion (the only reason for dropping a star).
apart from that i would definitely recommend a battery headstrap as anyone who owns an MQ3 will know the battery drains too fast.
+++AAA
Nice elite strap for Quest 3 with very nice padding.
VR headsets never seem to have an amazing battery life – 2 to 3 hours generally seems to be the case. Having a normal battery pack would be unwieldy so having it integrated into the head strap is a good move.
This is obviously a touch cheaper than the official one but it is very well constructed. In terms of installation, the manual explains every part in detail and is easy to follow and do. The actual battery pack compartment at the rear disassembles so, technically, if it were available, you could replace the battery pack if it died or was losing its capacity.
The actual rear padding is very very nice, it’s like a memory foam cushion and is probably my favourite one I’ve used – and I’ve had the Go, Quest 2 and Quest 3. Having an extended battery makes the gaming session longer (so really handy when the mother-in-law visits) and if you travel with it, you’ll always be able to watch a movie or two without recharging.
Speaking of charging, there’s a covered USB-C connector on the rear which is easy to access and charge, so no issues there.
As said, having the ability to have double the playtime, a really comfy head-strap compared to any other and should the battery cop out, potentially easy to replace makes this an easy recommend for Quest users.
Right……back to some Tetris Effect!
