Let’s me connect my iPhone 12 wirelessly to my 2016 Skoda Superb’s ApplePlay.
Once I’d plugged it and done the Bluetooth setup with the phone it’s worked flawlessly ever since.
Every time I get in the car the phone hooks up without any fuss. It’s a far more reliable connection than the inbuilt system in my 2021 BMW 8 series!

Works for what I need
Happy to give this five stars as it works in both of our cars, being a 2019 Hyundai Tuscon and a 2022 Volvo XC40 when running Apple CarPlay on my iPhone 15 Pro. Obviously can’t comment beyond that combo, but for these it worked out of the box with no issues.

I have an Astra K and the wired connection for CarPlay has always been hit-and-miss with connectivity issues.
I bought this one on a bit of a whim..thinking as it is one of the most competitively priced that if it didn’t work then no worries, I won’t have lost much. I wanted reliable connectivity for a family trip to Alton towers so I could use google maps.
Bought it, plugged it in, connected it to my phone and it’s simply perfect.
I’ve had no issues with reconnectivity or any other problems at all. I’ve permanently mounted it and hidden it out of view now so you can’t even tell it’s there.

I rarely write reviews, but had to for this … it’s amazing! My wife’s MG EV had issues connecting via an apple cable. I was sceptical about this, but it amazing, plug and play, no set up, connects straight away every time, streams phone calls, music, google maps and all other apps … an absolutely bargain too.

So, I am a serial “buy a piece of tech gear to help you cos you’re tearing your hair out… And it doesn’t work, cos nothing you buy actually ever works” kind of bloke.
And my soopa doopa state of the art Kia and my brand new all singing and dancing Samsung galaxy S ultra refused point blank to give me Android auto. It was in my car, it was in my phone, but neither of them would communicate allegedly. Tried everything and nothing worked. Si in desperation, did some research about this piece of kit, considered loads of more expensive ones, thought “it probably won’t work anyway” so I chose to buy a reasonably priced one. This one.
And guess what.. It works.
I fact I followed the 4 instructions, which took 2 minutes, and it worked. Unbelievably, It hasn’t stopped working and I’ve had it for 2 whole weeks. I know, pretty damned awesome huh?? Hasn’t dropped out,
Hasn’t failed to doodah, works before my car decides to do it’s start checklist thing even.
So I have WAZE and that nice GOOGLE woman on voice control.. It’s like new millennium stuff.
And I am one EXTREMELY Happy motorist.

Works well most of the time, but sometimes when you try to reconnect after getting out the car then back in, it just won’t work – have to turn off Bluetooth and reconnect that way
