This ink cartridges multi-pack contains 1 magenta, one cyan, 1 yellow, and 1 black cartridges, which makes use of one complete change of all the cartridges in the printer.
The cartridges are very easy to install – simply remove the sealing tapes from the cartridges and insert the cartridges into the correct slots, making sure not to touch the area, where that chip is located. There is no need to do anything else, and as soon as printer will recognize the cartridges, it is good to go.
The image is clean, good enough to read even on the smallest text sizes. The print is not smudgy or cloudy.
Considering the price of for this set, it is a very cost-effective printing method.

Decent Knockoff for the Daily Grind
Now, I’ve given these a go because, let’s face it, the price of the branded stuff makes my wallet want to pack its bags and leave me. I popped these into my HP OfficeJet with a mix of hope and the kind of skepticism usually reserved for ‘fat-free’ crisps.

Quality Quirks: It’s not quite the Rolls Royce of ink. More like a reliable Ford Fiesta. Gets you from A to B, but you might notice the ride’s a bit bumpier. The print quality is decent, but next to the branded ink, it’s like comparing my cooking to Gordon Ramsay’s. Edible, but not award-winning.
Longevity Lottery: A bit like how I feel after trying to keep up with a baby all day – it runs out of juice sooner than you’d hope. Not dramatically so, but the branded cartridges do last a bit longer.

The Verdict

If you’re printing off reams of work documents that don’t need to be gallery-quality, these cartridges are a solid choice. They’ll save you a bit of dosh and keep your printer chugging along happily. Just bear in mind that for those ultra-important documents, or if you’re trying to impress with some high-quality prints, you might want to stick with the branded ink.

It’s a bit like choosing between a high-end steak and a decent burger. Both will sort you out, but it depends on what you’re in the mood for. For the everyday grind, these cartridges are the burger. Not luxurious, but definitely satisfying.

Great quality St@rink cartridges
I installed these great quality St@rink 953XL 4x colour replacement cartridges in my HP Officejet Pro 8710 printer.

These are XL sized cartridges which can last for months depending on your usage. The page yield is 2000 for black and 1600 per colour cartridge.

The cartridges are nicely packaged and provide colourful, vibrant print results, and vivid black printouts.

If you experience installation issues:

Go to the display windown, bottom left there is an arrow that is curved around, press this slowly 4 times. the arrow will not be lit but it is still effective, remember, 4 times slowly. Up will pop ‘Support Menu’, click OK, up will pop ‘System Configuration’ click OK, up will pop TradeOOBE, click OK, you’ll see ‘No Trade Displays’, click OK. Then simply back out of the menu by using the ‘X’ or cancel icon as many times as you need to get back to your home page. Turn your printer off for a minute, then turn it back on. Job done, you can use your cheap cartridges once again saving loads of money.

A big saving on the branded versions
These Starink 953XL ink cartridge multipack are a compatible (not original HP) ink cartridge option for several HP OfficeJet Pro printers. They are significantly cheaper than HP brand cartridges.and we found them asy to install and use. They have a high page yield of up to 2000 pages for black and 1600 pages for colour cartridges (based on 5% coverage). On test we found they delivered smooth printing with vivid colours and true blacks. We did have a minor issue with printer compatibility at first, but we were able to quickly remedy that and to be honest you often get intitial error messages with third party cartridges. We just needed to press a single button on the printer and it was sorted. So if you do not mind the odd (fixable) error message on set up, these are a great way of saving money.
