This is probably one of the best picnic blankets I have reviewed, no chemical smells, it is portable even though slightly bulky and easy to use .
One of the best feature is that it is also slightly cushioned and quite sturdy so if there are some spiky foliage underneath you are protected, plus the underneath has a plastic cover that protects against water .
I would recommend .
Excellent picnic blanke
I ordered the Aptilton picnic blanket for it’s large size and portability with its own built in carry case. The blanket itself arrives rolled up and well protected during delivery. The blanket is 2m x 2m and is ideal for those days out with your family offering a suitable place to sit whilst keeping you protected from the elements.
The blanket is well made and quite comfortable and has a waterproof underlayer to prevent moisture travelling to the top surface. It’s very easy to use with instructions located on the tag showing you how it can be rolled back up. so far i’ve enjoyed using it as it offers a safe space for my little one when out and it’s very easily to clean and pack away. It’s also very practical as it includes ground spikes for those extra windy times to keep it secure and avoid it blowing around.
Overall it’s great value for money.
Exceptional quality and great size
This picnic blanket is absolutely perfect for picnics or days out. It is 2mx2m, so quite larger than most blankets out there and it comes with 4 pegs which are a huge bonus. Takes a bit of practice to fold it back up, but it fits the while family, is waterproof and easy to clean and quite soft to the touch. Really impressed with this blanket and I would highly recommens it! For 16.99 and currently a 2off voucher, this is amazing value and a must have for the upcoming summer season.
Perfect for Picnics or the Beach
I needed a new picnic blanket for going on picnics and taking to the beach so was excited to try this out.
At 200 x 200cm it’s a nice big size, so easily can fit a couple of people being spread out. It comes rolled up with a strap which means it’s nice an easy to put on your shoulder to carry when you have other things in your hands. The blanket itself is fairly soft, so nice to sit on and I especially like that the underside is waterproof so when sitting on wet grass or sand you’re not going to get wet. As an added bonus it includes pegs which I’ve not seen before, so will stop it blowing away on a windy day. Overall a great blanket for warmer weather.
A perfect size picnic blanke
This picnic blanket can easily hold a small family for 4 without any trouble. It is large, the design on it is lovely, and it’s easy to carry with you wherever you are going. The biggest hassle is to try and fold it all back up again and it tends to take me a few times every time I open it up to try to get it back into it’s compact and holdable size. The blanket even comes with some stakes which is nothing I have seen before and I love it, nothing more annoying than a picnic blanket constantly folding over your food on a windy day.
Really do like this and would recommend it!
Perfect picnic blanke
This picnic blanket set is just perfect for any setting. It’s simple to peg into the ground and can carry so easily. Its lightweigth to hold and yiu can with ease due to this and the strap. It’s made from soft material but the layer underneath is effective in not allowing wet or damp to get on clothes and so on.
Large and waterproof
This is the best fold up picnic blanket I have owned. It is really large and can accommodate a family of four. However, it still rolls up into a small and easy to carry shape.
It comes with a carry handle or a shoulder strap, and is nice and lightweight. It has a waterproof layer, so great if you’re sitting on damp grass or sand. The top layer is very comfortable to sit on and easy to wipe down. It also comes with 4 ground pegs that go through loops on each corner, so you don’t have to worry about it blowing away when you aren’t sitting on it.

It’s a picnic blanket. It is pretty thin. The design is pretty boring. It comes with folding instructions which are also attached to the blanket. But it is still a pain to fold. I read some of the reviews already posted and they give the impression this is something extra special. It is just an oversized picnic blanket with a carry strap and some pegs. I personally would prefer that there was no fitted strap and it just came with a simple mesh carry bag. I don’t need the fuss of having to fold a blanket a certain way.
Lay your blanket on the ground!

The dimensions are generous and when spread out it can be staked for stability using the four tent pegs provided. Once you’ve got the knack, it can be easily folded in on itself and then secured with Velcro and transported using the carrying handle. It’s machine washable too, so when the picnic’s over it can easily be cleaned, dried and ready for next time. It’s well made, does the job and the silver gray dandelion pattern is an attractive, added bonus.

Huge Picnic/Beach Blanke

This arrived rolled up neatly with the carrying straps tucked inside, which you simply pull out to access. It can be carried over the shoulder like a bag or just held in your hand.. the straps cater for both options and the shoulder strap is adjustable.
The first thing you notice when you unroll this blanket is the huge size of it.
Easily big enough to seat a whole family and then some.
The blanket feels quite thin but it’s very well made and durable feeling.
The main upper material is quite soft to touch, which is lined underneath by a waterproof aluminium material, ensuring no ground moisture can penetrate through.
The 4 corners of the blanket have a loop which are used to secure the blanket to the ground using the 4 supplied plastic pegs, ensure gusts of wind don’t see your blanket flying away!
It’s a shame there’s nowhere dedicated, like a pocket, to store the pegs when the blanket is rolled up, but they can be pushed inside as it rolls up quite tightly and hopefully they won’t fall out.
There is an included instruction sheet explaining how to properly fold up the blanket, which is necessary reading as it has to be done in a specific way. Thankfully the instructions are also stitched inside the blanket for convenience.
Once you’ve grasped how to roll this up properly you have a massive, really handy and portable picnic/beach blanket to carry when needed.
It’s reasonably lightweight too, despite the size.
Brilliant!
This is a decent sized blanket for our family 4. It comes folded up quite compact and has a carry handle making it easy to carry around. It’s fairly spacious and is quite thick and comfortable to sit on. The waterproof backing is brilliant, perfect for when the grass is wet.
What really set this blanket apart for us from other blankets is that it comes with 4 stakes (like pegs / nails. At each corner of the blanket there’s a loop stitched on, and you just poke a stake through each loop in order to secure it to the ground (grass or beach).
It’s quite durable and I definitely see it lasting us for a good few years. The best part of it is that is is machine washable!!!
Nice large size
This is much bigger than my last picnic blanket and at 2 meters squared it’s an excellent size. Really nice quality material with a quilted top layer and waterproof aluminium base layer. I really like that I can just pop it into the washing machine to clean. This all folds up nicely to form a bag with carrying handle so it’s super easy to transport. The surface is water repellent so any spills can be easily mopped up and the addition of 4 ground pegs is a nice touch so it can be pinned down on a windy day. A really nice quality picnic blanket.
Huge and good quality
This is not your average picnic blanket – it is so much better!
Firstly, it is HUGE. When opened out it easily sits 6 people with still enough space for the picnic, and if anyone has experienced the joys of trying to stop a blanket blowing away in the wind, this one can be pegged down at the corners – brilliant. The 4 pegs come with the blanket and push down the little loops at the 4 corners of the blanket.
There are 3 layers, and the bottom aluminum layer is waterproof so everything keeps nice and dry. The top layer is a lovely grey with white dandelion design and is very soft. It is not very padded, so you will still feel any pebbles through it, but on grass or at the beach it is perfect.
It folds up easily into a small size with a handle for carrying. At first it is a little tricky to get it right, but there is an instruction sheet, and even better the instructions are printed on the picnic blanket label so you always have a reminder – genius!
An excellent picnic blanket to keep handy in the car, or for camping and holidays and days out.
This picnic blanket is absolutely massive, which is great for a family of three. I really love the dandelion design, which looks beautiful when spread out.
The mat itself folds quite easily into a bag shape, and it’s not difficult to attach. Easy to carry strap attached as well.
The base of mat is completely waterproof, but the top does absorb moisture, and can pick up stains. On the plus, though you can just pop it in the washing machine to wash. I did this as soon as mine arrived because when I unfolded it for the first time it smelt a bit mouldy and stale. The smell still lingered after the first wash, so I had to put it back in again for a second wash and then it was okay.

I requested the ‘Aptliton Picnic Blanket, 200 x 200 cm, Large Waterproof Picnic Mat with Carry Strap’ ready for summer, when it will be perfect for picnics and days at the beach.
It arrives in a tidy roll. The first thing I noticed was how soft it is to touch. The aluminium bottom gives it a durable feel and the design is very pretty as per the sellers images. There is a hand strap, if you don’t want to carry it on your shoulder and it is compact enough to put in a day rucksack too. The flap fastens with Velcro and the instructions on how to fold it up again are stitched into the seam in addition to being on paper within the packaging. There are also 4 yellow pegs included which hook into 4 elasticated loops at the corners of the blanket.
The brilliant thing about this picnic blanket is that you can sit on it and have a picnic basket in the middle, it is massive 200 x 200 cms. Folding it up is easier with two people, but not impossible for one, follow the instructions to get it back just right.
In the spirit of an honest review and this is very picky, some of the stitching is not great. The Velcro attached to the blanket has not been sewn on properly, I will need to stitch that as it holds the roll together. Also it would be even better if the flap had a pocket for the pegs, as they have no specific place.
The blanket is otherwise very well thought through and I would certainly recommend this as it is great value for money at 23.99 at the time of this review. I have deducted 1 star for stitching hence 4 stars.

This picnic blanket is huge, which is fantastic for larger families as you don’t have to carry around 2 blankets.
It rolls up to the same size as any other picnic blanket and is easy to carry around. It is put together using ultrasonic sewing so there are no holes to allow moisture through. It is waterproof. The material felt quite thin and would not protect you against rocks and pebbles. It also comes with four ground pegs which is a nice idea if you are trying to place the blanket down by yourself in a wind.
