Temparatures down significantly over stock cooler see images for test.
Lower temperatures are from the new cooler, was using the stock AMD cooler (AMD Wraith Stealth), Overall easy to mount one tricky screw to reach on the left side of the radiator other than that was simple. Very quiet on full load could barely hear it. Definitely worth upgrading if going from a stock cooler.
Nice lED and is pretty quie
Use this with a ryzen 5 5600x and it works nicely, played rdr2 and temps were under 65 all the time
It was quiet aswell, the box was slightly damaged and 1 corner of the radiator vents were slightly damaged but I still kept it and it works fine, but besides this it’s very good and for 47 it is very good
Very quiet, cools CPU above and beyond expectations and ARGB working flawlessly with SignalRGB. Extremely easy to install on my machine (once I taped the backplate for the CPU on the back of the board) literally 5 mins of installation with a very sensible mounting solution. Inclusion of a cable with a pass thru for the rest of my ARGB fans is brilliant and saves the hassle of buying a splitter. Cables are sensibly situated on fan for good and hidden placement on motherboard. Pleased with the item in every respect – decent quality.
Great temperatures without water cooling!
Very good cooler, would definitely recommend it if you are still on a stock cooler. Temperature on processor went from over 80 C on load down to 60 C.
Regular temperature went down to 30 C from around 50C on my stock cooler.
Also if your motherboard supports ARGB it will look quite cool with the lights.
Just make sure your case can fit it, as I had to remove side panel fan in order to fit! It is bigger than I expected, and I could not tell from the images as it mentions being compact. Check measurements if unsure. The area around the cooler is ok, there is enough space for the RAM and GPU, but it bulges outwards/upwards (case orientation dependent) towards the side of the case quite a bit.
Edit-
Friday night went into MSI mystic light software, there is a concert option and the PC turned the room into a discotheque. The lights look awesome!
Good coole
I recently purchased this Arctic cooler for my home computer and I am extremely pleased with the results. The cooler is high quality and keeps my CPU at the ideal temperature, lowered temperature 25-30 degree celsius vs the factory cooler. Connected to my “Lighting” software instantly (I have RAINBOW port – Motherboard MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk). Installation was relatively easy and the instructions were easy to follow. The cooler runs quietly and efficiently, and I have not noticed any decrease in performance. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend this product to anyone in the market for a reliable traditional CPU cooler.
Great coole
Great fan. Easy to assemble. Requires an 5V ARGB header on the motherboard. If your board has the old 12V RGB header, you will need to use an ARGB Controller which is what I use on my ASUS X370 motherboard. Most new motherboards now come with the 5V ARGB header on their board rather than the old 12V standard.
Really good price/ efficiency
CPU temperatures stay low and it’s not noisy at all excluding a few moments where I’ve been gaming at you can hear some noisy but not at all loud to be fair.
I am a heavy gamer and tend to stream time to time. The stock Intel cpu for my i7-12700k was hitting as high as 96. Bought this item and couldn’t be happier. It was a pain to mount but it was definitely worth it as now my temps are not going above 60 on heavy load and turbo on. Brilliant for cooling down your cpu
Effective even in a small case
I bought it for a 10700kf. I have a pretty small case and this just fits in. With the stock intel cooler I was seeing temps in the high 90s. With this it rarely hits 80 under heavy load and usually hovers 60 and 70 for heavy gaming.
Great value cooler for LGA1700 CPUs
After browsing my options for a cooler on my 12th gen Intel CPU for a while, I was agitated by the lack of options and similarly. the amount of coolers that required you to purchase a completely separate mounting bracket to fit LGA1700 sockets.
Until I found this cooler however, and now I have zero regrets of purchasing it.
It’s quiet, keeps temperatures low and just looks stunning with its ARGB.
The installation is also very easy. It’s lengthier if you have an LGA1700 motherboard, but at least you are given the parts you need already rather than having to purchase them separately. Oh, and there’s an incredible video tutorial that’s perfectly clear and easy to follow, as well as very short in running time, made by Arctic themselves on this cooler.
Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an LGA1700 Cooler that isn’t overkill for price, looks great, and comes with everything you need.
Pros
– Looks great. It doesn’t look dumb like other air coolers on the market
– Powerful fan
Cons
– The ARGB cable is not long enough to route it behind an ATX motherboard, if the ARGB connectors are at the bottom of the motherboard
– It’s a little difficult to remove the fan from the coole
Swapped out my stock intel fan for this and it has dropped my temperatures while gaming from 80-85C to 40-50C then when idle from 45C to 25C and the noise levels are so much better. Cant even hear it!! Can’t complain, was easy to assemble and install. Perfect for the price and the RGB syncs with Mystic Light perfectly
I bought this cooler for my Core i5 12600K CPU. It’s an excellent cooler, which keeps CPU temperatures very low. My CPU temperature is below 50C most of the time. At idling, it sits in the 30s. It also looks good. It’s a big (tower) cooler but it fitted in my standard mid-tower case with a centimetre or two to space. It was also easy to fit, with high quality components, meaning you can fit it tightly onto the motherboard. The fan has nice RGB and runs quietly.
The only negative is the weird design of the fan. The fan itself is standard 120mm but it’s part of a fan shroud that fits over the cooler, which means you will not be able to simply replace it with a standard fan (although it’s a high quality fan that should not need replaced). This also means that it’s fiddly to install onto the cooler once you’ve mounted the cooler onto the CPU. I cursed more than once when I was installing it.
Overall, a great value for money cooler for Intel CPUs.
Dropped temps on my 12700 from 100 to 75 when playing Halo. My PC runs pretty warm as it’s got 3080 in a mATX case but this keeps the temps within limits. Install took 5 min and was super easy. RGB works with Gigabyte RGB sync.
Great looking cooler, performing well paired with an i5-12600K
I have this cooler in two i5-12600k systems, and it is performing well, and looking great.
Running Cinebench for over an hour resulted in CPU temps maxing out at 77degC on standard settings.
Fits fine in the Corsair iCue 4000x case and Phanteks Eclipse P360A cases.
Have just upgraded my PC to an Intel Core i5 12600K Processor – 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL 3200Mhz Memory – Intel Z690 Motherboard – ARCTIC Freezer i35 A-RGB and the cooler seems to be really quiet its much more silent than my older i5 4690k board and the RGB lights look really nice.
On desk top, my CPU is around 35C to 40C.
