This is a nice toy my autistic son really likes to play with this. I am scared of little magnets in toys but this is so well built that I can worry less.

I ordered this for a 4 year old, as they are absolutely OBSESSED with magnetic things – especially building blocks like this, and it was an instant hit!

I must say first and foremost that this does not come with any instructions on what to build, you pretty much have to freestyle it – whether that is a bad thing or a good thing is up for debate, personally I think some instructions/creative guidance is never bad, but also having the freedom to build whatever you want is also good. As a result, if you’re buying this for someone that needs instructions, this may not be ideal.

That being said, the blocks are all easy to use, the magnets aren’t super strong but that’s good, it means it’s easy to take apart, especially for younger children, and there’s not a whole lot of risk of magnet “pinching”, which can be horrible!

I do think this is slightly overpriced, in comparison to other products almost identical to this, but only slightly.

The tiles are sturdy and safe, perfect for little hands to manipulate. Watching my children build 3D structures and explore their imagination has been truly rewarding. Plus, with 100 pieces, there’s enough to keep them entertained for hours. Overall, a fantastic educational toy that I highly recommend for both boys and girls.

As a Nursery Practitioner, I am always excited to be offered for review any toys or resources which I can share with the children in my playroom. This style of magnetic construction tiles are really popular and a great way of introducing STEM ideas to children. The colourful tiles fit together really easily using magnetics, and can be used to create towers, rockets, castles and more. This set is really nice as it offers a good variety of shapes including long triangles, window tiles, small triangles and solid squares. There are also a couple of wheeled bases for building carts and cars. I always make sure that the children in my playroom are well supported and supervised when using these, and they are always a very popular resource – Children universally seem to love them, because they are lightweight to manage and handle, and so versatile. I also like to use these on our light box, as the colours really illuminate and refract. This set would be a great starting point for a collection, or a good set for an individual child and is great for gifting. Reasonably priced at 39.98.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for developing coordination, Fine motor skills and introducing STEM ideas.

I totally love this, it is so addictive and fun for hours! The magnets are fairly strong and build with these is very easy!
As it says above that i am nearly 60 and really love this.
Just need some more now to expand on it.
It is good value for money and you can buy smaller starter sets. This one i got is the 1000 piece one.
It will give the grandkids hours of fun (if they can get me off it!!)
Really good item and i easily recommend this..

We have three children aged 5, 7 and 10 and they all really enjoyed building with this set. Whilst 100 pieces sounds like a lot, they all wanted certain features/parts so they all enjoyed it most when they got to play with the whole set alone. They all created different things and were able to use it. The 10 year old taking it further by making a castle. Overall a good toy that lets them be creative and explore 3D shapes. My wife is a teacher and will be taking it to school when she teaches 3D shapes, although some rectangular pieces would make it much better as a teaching toy for cuboids etc. whilst you can use two squares it changes the number of faces they see so doesn’t help. It comes neatly packed in a box and has a bag for storage once opened. That’s a real plus as nothing worse than trying to cram everything back in a small box when you use it! Ideal gift.

    Great tile set.
    All pieces were undamaged.
comes as a 100 piece set
    suitable for 3 years plus
my nephews absolutely love playing with this
    great for stimulating imagination.
    hours of fun.
    Magnets are strong
Enough pieces to make some interesting shapes and buildings, but very soon you’ll be wanted even more to make bigger things!
When making them into something like a basic box, they feel impressively strong together.
