Ideal for little ones who enjoy learning and colours. Feels really nice quality and would make a lovely gift for a first birthday or even a baby shower. Makes a lovely difference from the loud electronic toys!

This arrives in a nice cardboard branded box and is a high quality wooden number puzzle board in a great size for children. The pastel colours are aesthetically pleasing colours. The wooden numbers, rings and shapes are well made and are a good size therefore are easy to hold and place into the appropriate places on this puzzle’s board.

The mini rings correlating to the numbers are slim and lightweight. It is important to note that the entire product is made of wood as advertised unlike one that i purchased at Christmas which had thin plastic rings.

This toy allows little ones to learn numbers and count matching rings, learn colour names and shapes. I would recommend this and due to the high quality it could also make a wonderful gift.

Beautifully made wooden montessori counting/sorting toy. The quality is amazing, feels very sturdy. The colours are bright and inviting and there is a good range of shapes included. This toy will engage little minds and help with their fine motor skills, counting as well as learning colours and shapes.

Would make a lovely gift too, good value. Would highly recommend.

Good quality wooden puzzle. It’s been helping my little one learn how to count. The sticks with the colourful rings are bendable which makes it easier to stack. The colours could be brighter, in my opinion and the size a bit bigger. Other than that, it’s perfec

The wooden counting board, measuring approximately 37.8cm x 12.8cm x 1cm, offers a well-crafted and colorful learning experience for children. Its smooth edges and vibrant colors make it both visually appealing and safe for play. The innovative elastic attachment for the pegs adds convenience for little hands, although a storage solution for the numerous pieces would be beneficial. Despite some minor issues, such as the potential for pieces to be misplaced or interchanged, the board provides valuable educational opportunities, helping children learn numbers, shapes, and fine motor skills through interactive play. Overall, it’s a sturdy and engaging toy that offers hours of educational fun for young learners.

    The base board measures approx 37.8cm x 12.8cm x 1cm (+ poles)

The actual board and all the pieces are well made – we couldn’t find any sharp or rough bits.
The colours of the pieces are reasonably muted, but not drab.

The one detail that surprised me was that the poles for the disks are actually connected to the board by elastic. This seems to make it much easier for little hands to take the disks back off.

All the pieces for a number are the same colour, and no two colours are the same.
Each number has a block in the shape of the number, a shape (my partner was the one who spotted these have the number of sides to link to the number), and a pole with the appropriate number of disks for stacking.

All the disks, numbers and shapes could additionally be used like normal building blocks.

The digits 6 and 9 can be interchanged on the board (but then the colours don’t match), the number 8 can be put in upside down (one loop is smaller than the other), and the number 10 doesn’t quite ‘do it’ for me. I think it would have been fairly simple to at least make the board so the numbers will only fit where (and how) they’re supposed to – but it’s not enough of a niggle against the rest of the positives for me to drop a star on the rating. (Shame we can’t drop in half stars sometimes.)

Fantastic wooden counting board for toddlers which teaches numbers, colours and shapes. The coloured numbers line up with the number of counting discs, and also the number of sides on each corresponding shape.
My recently turned 2 year old is the perfect age for this as he’s just learned to count to 10 and is learning to recognise written numbers and the names of simple shapes. Even my 8 year old had a little play and it was a good reminder for him on the names of 9- and 10-sided shapes.
The counting pegs are on flexible springs meaning they can easily be bent out of alignment to allow a better grip on the discs for little fingers.
All pieces feel high quality and are in a smooth wood with no rough edges or splinters. The board can be stored fully assembled in the box which is handy to prevent pieces from being lost.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality Wooden Counting for Toddlers

Really nice traditional style, looks colourful without using super bright colours.
The parts while having a set place were easy enough for little hands to manipulate as they had wiggle room (ie: frustrations were reduced as if they didn’t need to line up the square 100% perfectly for it to get in the space.)

I would say that eve though it is recommended for kids aged 1+, some of the bits were of a size that could be a little risky if they end up being chewed on. But with supervision (as it should be!) this is mitigated.

My niece is only 2 years old, but she’s really into this motor skills game. Since she’s teething and puts everything in her mouth, we always make sure to keep a close eye on her while she plays. It’s a great educational toy, and the colors and shapes are really nice too. I just wish price was a bit cheaper, though.
