I bought this for a friend to replace an aging PC. It booted up Win11 and after some fine tuning it runs like a dream. They are beyond happy with the results of this PC and everything now runs so much better. It would be a great PC for many functions like a NAS. I may buy a few of these yet for myself.

Funktioniert tadellos
It took quite a while for updates to Windows 11 but it did it eventually. I loaded all the stuff I use regularly and it ran. Microsoft office 2007 (what the hell? It does all that I need.) Filemaker 5.5 (see previous parenthetical comment.) Current Chrome. Current Thunderbird. Starts quick. The little handbook that comes with give some gobbledygook about taking it apart and installing RAM and an SSD! What the hell was that about? It ran right out of the box without attacking it with a screwdriver.

My take is that a good mini PC is better than an overpriced Raspberry PI and all the add-ons it takes to boot from disk. This Bosgame is a very good choice. It comes with Windows 11 Pro and works well with Linux. Regardless of the ultimate use, it is a well priced option.

Great little mini-PC that have well know components: The Ram is DDR5 Crucial 4800Mhz (2x16GB), and the NVMe is a Kingston M.2 2280 NVMe Gen4. Nice inline Power supply (Not a big block that is attached to the power outlet like on the Bosgame P1 that I return). Come with a legit version of Windows 11 Pro, I reinstalled a fresh copy of MS Win11 pro 23H2 from Microsoft website and it was activated at the first boot automatically. Installed all the drivers form Bosgame website. I also installed AMD Software Adrenalin Edition, because some characters were not displayed correctly when using Kodi. This mini-PC run very well, very quiet and cool too.

Just received it yesterday but I didn’t wait another day to install it. Yes, it is so easy to install, even a novice can do it. It’s so fast and nimble compared to my Dell i7! The size and weight of the item disguises its strength as a performer. I intend to buy another one for my son’s use! Only time could tell if this will last a long time. But I’m convinced it will! For its price, I got a winner!

Mostly good
It is mostly good. Quiet yes, Boots up and shuts down fast. All ports work. Bounces around the internet just fine. Plays movies from stick just fine, Streams video just fine. Connects to bluetooth and internet wirelessly fine. Plays basic games good enough, the computer does not cost a fortune so not expecting great gaming.
A minor problem was when I was making a backup image of windows 11 to an external drive using the usb c port, the backup failed after about 4 minutes in. this happened twice. When I switched cables and used a usb 3 cable and port the backup of windows 11 was successful. further use of the usb c port has not been a problem when transferring smaller amounts of data.
extra drive installed and working, the cable is included with computer.
Exactly as described, and works straight out of the box!
This is a great little system. I’m retired and no longer need the mobility of a laptop. So I replaced my old desktop and my old laptop with the combination of this little system in my office, and an iPad for mail etc, and when I’m on the go. The system worked right out of the box and easily accepted all my regular apps.
I wasn’t sure that 16G would be enough memory – but it’s perfect: powerful and fast. A impressive little system..
Great Value for Great Specificatio
Bought this to replace my aging Win 10 computer and very impressed. Started up Win 11 without connection to internet (which is recommended by others) then registered with my MS account later. Downloaded from my MS account my MS Office 2016 which is still supported until at least next year. Fitted an SSD in accordance with the BosGame instructions and that works fine. Currently driving two monitors using the twin HDMI sockets, a Logitech keyboard on USB and a Tecknet Bluetooth mouse with no problems. The headphone socket powers my logitech speakers.
This product is a nice looking bit if kit. However, on first boot it takes you to a Windows 11 start up screen. Doesn’t ask for an MS account and asks 3 security questions (red flag number 1). I have deleted the stock OS and put a clean copy of Windows 11 on it. There is no Bluetooth on the device (red flag number 2), I have checked all hardware and theee is nothing. The headphone jack doesn’t work (red flag number 3) this means I have to use a USB headset to listen to anything. Hdmi doesn’t have sound only image (red flag number 4). I have it running but have disabled all connections as I don’t know where the data is programed to go.
This is a very capable mini PC and a bargain for the price.
Let’s get the name out of the way first though. Although it is called BOSGAME it isn’t really something you’ll want to use to game on. Technically, you could, but unless you have an eGPU to plug in (if that’s even supported) or just want to play simple puzzle games like bridge builders you’re not going to have a great time gaming, certainly not AAA first-person shooter type games.
But for most other things where raw compute power isn’t important, it’s a great option: web browsing, general office apps, video calls, media player, even some web-development – this would be perfectly suitable to use.
It’s especially good for exactly the opposite reason in fact – it’s low-power consumption. I’m planning on using it as a simple home-automation server (probably installing debian linux + umbrel) where the lack of GPU power is less important.
I was originally thinking that a Raspberry Pi would still be the goto option for something like that but Intel has really addressed the tiny-PC market with their recent CPUs and chipsets and this is going to be significantly easier to use and more functional out the box. To get the equivalent power in a Pi requires additional HAT boards for NVMe storage, plus then you need different cases and so on – lots of hassle for less power, and this is less expensive!
Of course “out the box” means once Windows 11 updates have finished installing, but that’s a one time thing – best to just kick off the update install process and leave it to do it’s thing. But I should point out that the Windows install that comes with it is refreshingly free of the kind of bloatware that I’ve previously seen when buying “big name brand” Windows PCs. I let it run just to check everything was working and get an idea of how it performed once the OS had settled down.
If I had to pick on anything as a shortcoming, it’s that the WiFi is “only” 802.11ac, it would have been nice to get ax, but hey – the 2.5Gb wired ethernet more than makes up for it. I think the WiFi uses an m.2 connector card so upgrading it might be an option. The m.2. drive is also only SSD and not NVMe so it doesn’t hit the performance it could, although I’m going to be upgrading that anyway.
You get a power adapter (quite small, as it doesn’t need to supply much) a HDMI cable and VESA kit so you can mount it behind a monitor, plus a SATA cable if you want to install an older style SSD..
Very happy with how compact and powerful this thing is for the price. I got the 16Gb RAM / 512GB storage model (but will probably upgrade to a 1Tb drive).
UPDATE: The NVMe upgrade was easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy and I also figured what that weird rubber tab on the bottom is for – it’s to pull the base plate off (duh!). I installed Debian and Umbrel, no problems at all, and it absolutely flies for less than it would have cost for a Pi based version or Umbrel’s own Home server (which would both be less capable).
I’ve also ordered another unit that I will keep as a cheap little Windows 11 desktop machine and standby replacement (BTW: it comes with the Windows 11 Pro edition which means you can use things like remote desktop – another plus).
UPDATE: the 2nd machine works great, just like the first. Because I’m using this one more for desktop use and keeping Windows on it for the time being I tweaked the BIOS settings to change the TDP settings so instead of 6W, 15W, and 35w power limits for base, boost, and turbo modes, you can set the boost to to be 20W or 25W, and allow it to stay at the higher power for longer. It really helps with responsiveness. See screenshots of the BIOS settings and benchmark results.
I bought one of these not knowing how well the N100 processor would work for my needs. It came with Windows pre-installed on it, and performance was adequate for use as a workstation daily-driver. Windows would use about 5-10% of the CPU just idling. Admittedly, I didn’t keep Windows on it for very long.
I erased it and installed Proxmox (virtualization) to offload some services I run (Home Assistant, PiHole, Servarrs, etc) and it took them all like a champ. Only running ~5% utilization with everything running, and it sips about 6W of power when idle and stays cool to the touch. It has a single M.2 drive, which I plan on upgrading anyways, but the SSD it comes with is adequate. About the only pitfall I noticed is that the optional 2.5″ internal SATA cable it comes with uses a very fragile connector to the motherboard.
=== EDIT ===
=== ORIGINAL POST ===
Der MiniPC entspricht der Beschreibung.
Performance:
All aspects of Win11 Pro work perfectly including updates installations and graphics. I use it for streaming into my LG OLED. Works way better than the included bloatware in the TV and the useless remote. The TV is basically a monitor fed by this computer and a wireless mouse. 4K 60Hz HDMI works perfectly. You get what you pay for and this one is worth it.
