Completely successful experime
I purchased this unit, as a whim, as an experimental replacement base system for an ancient Windows 10 laptop based configuration, and am so far totally satisfied.
Windows 11 Pro runs like a bandit, no funky problems.
this thing is quick and good
good for web browsing, music, movies that’s all i really use it for as I’m not expecting much for the price but its definitely very quick and no lags or issues so far hope it stays like tha
When I bought it, I knew what I was getting. It was meant for remote access and web browsing. And it performs perfectly. I did notice the Windows 11 pro image that it came with was glitchy. I wasn't able to successfully process the 22H2 update -- it just hung at 100% update. So, I reimaged it with the Windows 11 pro cloud download and after that it worked great (you get to it by resetting Windows 11). All in all, it exceeds my expectations.

Great for a home serve
This is a good PC to use as a home server for hosting light/basic programs. The Intel N100 is powerful enough for things like Homebridge which is what I mainly use it for. You could also plug storage into the USB ports and use it as a file server.
The only reason I give this 4 stars is because the 2.5Gbps network controller is the Intel I225-V (3rd gen) is not the best. There are reports online about this network controller cutting out (which I did NOT experience), but I did have issues with the controller downloading to the PC. When uploading from the PC I can get the full 2.5Gbps, but downloading is limited to about 1.2Gbps. I purchased a 2.5Gbps USB to Ethernet adapter and that can get 2.5Gbps in both directions, but I wish I didn’t need that.
I have been buying these smaller PC’s Always a Mac guy but nice to have variety at home. First was a Kamrui N5105 which performed well. Next was a Bosgame Ryzen 7 (wow setting 8 gets 20fps) Bought this Bosgame Core i5 1135g7 and it runs amazing and is the fastest mini PC yet. (wow setting max 10 gets 55-60fps internal graphics) I bought it for the thunderbolt and will add egpu later.
Lots of power and features in a tiny package
I love this PC!
I was expecting it to be a slow and sluggish dog.
Instead it is running with the pack.
No problems so far.
It was practically running the moment I plugged it in.
So far, the hardest thing I’ve done with this PC is stream videos from the internet.
If the cooling fan is running, I can’t hear it.
It has plenty of ports for plugging in accessories, a second monitor, etc.
I’m using a wired, lighted keyboard, wired gaming mouse, and an HDMI monitor.
There are still two more USB 3.0 ports left, and a USB-C port on the front.
It also includes a bracket for an additional hard drive, and a mounting plate for attaching it to the back of a computer monitor.
I think this PC is powerful, small, and just plain fun to use.
I think this is an amazing value
I've been using this PC for a couple of weeks now and I've been very impressed with the performance. It has all of the speed, storage and inputs you need for most daily computer use. You can connect dual monitors, external storage, mouse, keyboard, a docking station, etc. It comes with Windows 11, and it runs impressively fast for the size and the price. It is also very quiet. This computer makes for a great, very affordable option for anyone that typically uses a computer for browsing the internet, email, word processing, spreadsheets, or even graphic design programs. It's also a great option for anyone that's short on space -- great for dorm rooms, small condos or apartments, kid's room, smaller work stations, etc. Anyone expecting what you'd get in a $1,000+ computer is missing the point -- this is more than enough computer power for the vast majority of computer users at a absolutely phenomenal price. This mini PC is great for students, older folks, light computer users (internet/email/YouTube etc.), or light office or design work. Of course there are many other use cases for mini-PCs, such as setting up a home server. Overall, I've been very impressed with this computer and it's absolutely amazing that you can get this much computing power with all of the inputs you need in such a small size and at such an affordable price. Recommended!

For the price a very nice Windows 11 Mini-PC, suitable for writing, browsing, email, ...
Obviously not a gaming system, given the class, but can be a great laptop replacement for many users, needing only standard/basic PC and internet access.
Comes preinstalled with Windows 11, ready for completing Windows installation. Includes a 512 GB NVME system drive.
If you need extra space, unscrew the bottom cover, grab the included SATA cable, and you can install a standard SATA drive in addition to the include NVMe drive. Old-style SSD or a spinner drive. (Thin kind only).
My first action was to clone the system drive onto a larger NVMe drive, so I could set it up with dual-boot Windows/Linux. Worked out perfectly.
Second, I installed a spare 2.5″ drive with the included SATA cable (connects to a small white connector on the motherboard).
Everything works perfectly, with the performance you would expect from this class of PC and CPU.
If you have a spare monitor, keyboard and HDMI cable, this PC is well-worth the price and with an included small VESA adapter it can be mounted directly on the backside of a monitor making an integrated system.
For me, this system is mostly used for Windows/Linux experiments. For real work, running Adobe software, Office, and others, I have a powerful desktop. But if your needs are mostly in browsing the web and reading email, this system could easily be your only PC.
Highly recommended.
Very good performance to price value
This is a very decent tiny computer. Its biggest advantage for me is the tiny size. It can be invisible when attached at the back of a monitor and connected to wireless accessories like keyboard/mouse, headphone/speakers, and wifi.
Performance wise, it’s very decent, not the best, but still highly acceptable by today’s standard. It’s a good systems for home, school, and office use. It has a very good video playback so it can also serve very well as a home entertainment PC when connected to a TV.
The CPU is an Intel 12th gen celeron with 4 cores. It has a 16Gb DDR4 RAM and a 512GB SATA SSD M.2 drive. There is an included cable for an optional 2.5″ drive which can be installed inside the unit – also a very good feature. Fan noise is quite noticeable although not too overwhelming. All parts, excluding the CPU, are of Chinese brands.
With the given performance to price value, this is an excellent deal, hence the 5 stars.
Great Mini PC for Streaming and Browsing (But Double-Check Security)
This is my first time using a mini PC, and I have to say, I’m impressed! It’s incredibly compact and takes up almost no space on my desk. Setting it up was a breeze – just connected a wireless keyboard, mouse, and monitor, and I was ready to go.
It works perfectly for streaming shows and movies. Videos play smoothly, and the picture quality is great. However, there was one concerning aspect. When I first booted it up, it seemed to have some pre-loaded software that might not be secure. Because of that, I’m hesitant to use this mini PC for anything that requires logging in with personal information.
If security is a major concern for you, this might not be the best choice. But for simple tasks like streaming and browsing, this mini PC is a great little device!
Very nice Mini PC for the price, but does have a few flaws.
For the price, this little MiniPC is a very good deal and the performance is, overall, quite good and there are a lot of things I like about it. Performance wise, the Alder Lake N100 has 4 e-cores and comes in about like a older 6th generation i5-U series laptop processor. While not a speed demon by current standards, that is still very acceptable for most office applications and works just fine for media playback and basic web usage. Essentially, it doesn’t feel slow at all, though disk performance is a bit underwhelming. Additionally, while 3D performance on this PC is not good, it is about what I would expect for this class machine and actually maybe a bit better (definitely not suited for gaming though). It is also nice that it has a plenty of RAM (16Gb) and a more spacious than average SSD (512Gb). The included WiFi module (an Intel 8265NGW) is actually a pretty decent one, albeit not the newest and only 802.11ac rather than 802.11ax. Other pluses are that it comes with Windows 11 Pro, includes an interposer board and bracket for mounting another internal 2.5″ SSD or HD in case you need more storage, includes 2 HDMI’s and plenty of USB’s (including a full featured USB-C that could be used as another display output), it comes with 2.5GB ethernet, the fan is very quiet, and it is super easy to open and work on.
Unfortunately, there are also quite a few minor issues that keep this little PC from being perfect. First off, the M.2 SSD that is included is a SATA based one rather than NVME, which explains its rather poor performance. While not abysmal, it definitely isn’t great. Additionally, due to how this unit is designed, upgrading to an NVME drive makes very little sense and offers only minimal performance improvement. This is because the M.2 slot only has a single PCI-e channel enabled, which means that while most NVME drives should work, they will be unable to reach anywhere near their maximum performance capability (around 850MB/s was the max I could achieve in my testing). So, while, yes, you can upgrade the SSD if you need more room, don’t bother doing so with the expectation of better data throughput. The next issue I have with this PC is that while the CPU in this is generally designed for around 6W TDP usage, this one is set up for a full 15W TDP profile. While this does greatly enhance performance in some cases, it also means that it is running WAY hotter than I would like it to and way hotter than the cooling system in the PC is capable of handling. During a simple burn-in test it hit a full 85C within about 30 seconds, the fan maxed out, and the CPU began throttling. I have not checked the BIOS settings to see if this can be altered. Personally, I prefer to have my PC’s set to where they don’t have to temperature throttle for longevity and reliability reasons.
Other observations that are not really issues, but are just things you should know about. First, by design, this PC is only able to use DDR4 rather than the DDR5 that is the current standard, which does reduce performance a bit over what it could be. Additionally, the CPU itself only supports a single memory channel and is limited to supporting a maximum of 16Gb of memory, so the 16GB DDR4 module it comes with is as good as it is going to get (e.g. nothing faster and it can’t run 32Gb). Also, one thing that caught my eye the statement in the Amazon description of this PC is that, while the USB-C port supports PD and is capable of running the PC, they don’t recommend doing so for long as it will “overheat the USB interface”. Although I don’t anticipate ever needing to power this with USB-C, it still concerns me a bit.
Overall though, this is still a very nice little MiniPC for the price, as long as you recognize its limits and realize that, with the exception of storage capacity, it really can’t be upgraded much beyond what it already has. All things considered, I am still quite pleased with it and happy to have it.
Small, well built, and for the price relatively fast. It won't game but if all you do is write documents, play videos etc. this little machine will do the trick. I bought is as a replacement for a PC from 2015 and wow it was such a speed difference. These new low power Intel processors have some chops. I wouldn't try a 100 page spreadsheet or video editing but for the rest of us, it will do just fine.

Unbelievable. A computer in a box.
When I first saw these, I thought perhaps they would be some kind of DOS system meant for coding only. Never did I think that this little cube could perform the way my brand new, top-of-the-line laptop could do.
Windows 11 – The Windows 11 OS is all there and is so pretty. On boot up, I had to enter some things like my country, password, the PC’s name, primary language, etc. Once the setup was complete, then it took me to the main desktop, which looked exactly like what I have running on my lap. Clicking around was fast and fun, and felt no different than working from my computer.
Multiple display capability. I plugged the box into two screens, which all powered on quickly. The instructions say that it has three-screen capability. I do have a third screen and intend to try and hook that up once I pull it out of storage. I like the idea of three screens, which I use for work, and now will probably use it for home office work.
The box doesn’t come with a mouse or keyboard, but I just used a mouse/keyboard set and plugged in the USB receiver. It worked right away.
The downside is that there is a chip that came with this box and I have no idea what it is for. No instructions came for this particular piece. The instructions are for setup only. I am not technically adept so cannot figure out whether this is a memory chip that I am to install, or what it’s for. I read another review and notice that there may be some issued with the unit overheating when powered for any extended period of time. So far, I haven’t seen that issue. The power source I’m using is the one that came with the unit, although the product description says it can be powered with USB-C adapter (but with a warning that it will overheat).
I downloaded Office 2023 and have full functionality of the Microsoft suite. It was a quick download and I was able to operate the various apps immediately.
There isn’t a lot of bad I can say about this unit. I don’t know enough about the OS and the internal storage to say whether this a suitable alternative to a laptop. In my mind, with just accessing simple everyday applications for writing, editing, and reviewing, I think it does the job well. Internet surfing is like on any other computer, and I haven’t come across something so different from using my own laptop that warrants a note here. If I do, this review will be updated.
Overall, I think this is a great alternative to a laptop. I think I would just be mindful that if porting this unit around for travel, be mindful of what monitors are available and be sure to have the connecting wires and power source to support it.
There were no items in the package that were missing or damaged. I think it’d be easier to go over in pros and cons, with cons first.
Major Cons:
1. Thermal throttling – This is because of BOSGAME’s design and quality control (see below). Temperatures were maxing out at 88C quickly, throttling the CPU frequencies.
2. Confusing Design – They put tape over the CPU heatsink, and on top of the case to limit airflow out of the mini-pc case.
3. Poor quality control – There were globs of thermal interface material (TIM), and the soldering for the WiFi/Bluetooth antennas were poorly done.
Major Pros:
1. Easy access to internals – Four screws to remove the bottom casing. Then another 4 screws to be able to remove the motherboard from the top casing (be careful, there’s two soldered wires from the Wifi/Bluetooth to the antennas. Then 3 screws to remove the CPU/Case fan, and 4 screws to remove the CPU heatsink. I cleaned the glob of TIM off the CPU and replaced it with a TIM of my own and removed all the weird design tape. Max temps never got higher than 73C.
2. Replaceability and Upgradeability – You can replace the TIM, WiFi/Bluetooth card, Memory (you can even use DDR5 and LPDDR5 memory), and the M.2 NVME SSD.
3. BIOS and an activated Windows 11 Pro Operating System – You can change the BIOS, and the mini-pc comes with Windows 11 Pro activated. The Intel N100 is already very efficient with a low TDP, so I opted to disable Intel Speedstep, changed the fan speed to be at 100% if temperatures got up to 63C, and set Windows 11’s Power Plan to High Performance.
General Cons:
1. Generic DDR4 16GB 3200 MT/s memory.
2. Generic 512GB M.2 NVME SSD.
3. Outdated Intel WiFi/Bluetooth 8265NGW card. The Bluetooth is only 4.2 (seller’s description states 5.2 and 4.2). As of this review, the latest Bluetooth version is 5.4.
4. Sound is only at sample rate and bit depth 24-bit, 48000 Hz.
General Pros:
1. Supports 2.5G Ethernet.
2. Clean system with no bloatware, ran a full scan using AVG, BitDefender, and Windows Defender (offline).
3. CPU fan is very quiet, even at full speed.
4. Supports 4K@60Hz, 2K@120Hz, and HDR.
Some benchmarks:
Geekbench CPU (default TIM and settings): 1150 Single-Core; 2750 Multi-Core
Geekbench GPU: 3166 OpenCL
CrystalDiskMark 8.0.5: 561 MB/s Read; 509 MB/s Write
Geekbench CPU (replaced TIM and performance settings): 1164 Single-Core; 2867 Multi-Core
Geekbench GPU: 3197 OpenCL
Overall, it’s a solid mini-pc. Great for watching high definition HDR videos, office work, and light media encoding and editing. You could even upgrade to a faster 2TB M.2 NVME SSD, an Intel AX210 NGW WiFi card (supports Bluetooth 5.3), and a 32GB DDR5 SODIMM.
There are plenty of similar listings for Mini PC on the market. This BosGame Mini PC G35 comes fully loaded. I like that this has 16GB DDR4 RAM when compared to other mini pc in this range that only has 8GB. 16GB ram comes with 2 separate slots of 8GB each. This is also expandable to 64GB. This is not a gaming pc as it doesn’t have the best graphics card but for normal needs it is plenty. This PC has a 2.5GB ethernet port which is more than enough for most home connections. I started using this as a Media PC connected to my TV via HDMI and since then I have been adding more solutions such as Homebridge and PiHole. I have also set up a remote PC login so I can access this machine from my phone. This machine has become a Ture all in one machine and I get to use it for multiple tasks. This mini PC has a small body and you can mount it anywhere. For reference, the power adapter is half the size of the machine. There is a VESA mount that is included with this system. This machine has a USB C port as well. You can expand ports by using a hub. This has a fast 512GB SSD which is more than enough for most uses. This machine has exceeded all my expectations and I hope I can use this for a long time.

What’s Included:
– Mini PC, power adapter, 1 x long HDMI cable, 1 x short HDMI cable, screws pack, 2.5″ SATA drive adapter cable, external mounting plate & user manual
First Impressions:
– Metallic case feels durable
– The SATA adapter allows the PC to support 2.5″ drives
– 11th Gen Intel Core-i5 processor
– Brand name 16GB of ram & 512GB NVMe drive provides a higher level of quality
– Thunderbolt 4 Type C port
First Use:
Opened up the computer and replaced the NVMe drive so I could re-install a clean version of Windows 10. I was happy to see brand name components (e.g. memory and NVMe) were used to build the PC.
Installation of Windows 10 went smoothly and was happy to see that it automatically activated the OS with a digital license. This means that an OEM product key has been integrated into the motherboard. This was an actual surprise as I’ve tested other mini PC’s from Amazon and they did not include the product keys either on the motherboard or in the box, so this is a definite bonus.
During the setup it could not locate a bunch of drivers for the components but luckily BosGame has drivers and firmware updates on their website. This is good to see that there is driver support for the product if required.
Note: I also installed Windows 11 Pro afterwards and it also activated with the embedded OEM key in the motherboard and the same drivers on their website worked for Windows 11 as well.
The system is very quiet with the occasional whirr of the cooling fan, but it’s so quiet you may not hear it unless you’re in a quiet room.
One item it doesn’t have is a drive activity LED. I like to know when my drive is inactive, occasionally active or just running like crazy because of a background task.
Based on the below performance numbers in Win10 & Win11, it’s about the same in the performance numbers with the occasional win in Win10 while others in Win11, but they’re close enough to say there’s no real performance difference based on a different OS.
Performance Tests:
HWInfo: Max CPU temp 97C under heavy benchmark testing and found the CPU also needed to be throttled in order to stay under the thermal limits.
CineBench R23:

Pros:
– Compact & quiet
– Durable metal body
– Quality branded components used
– Drivers/Firmware available on the Bosgame website
– Integrated OEM Windows product key for easy OS activation
– Full featured (dual HDMI, gigabit LAN, WiFi6, BT5.3, Thunderbolt 4 Type C Port)
– Includes a bracket & cable to allow for 2.5″ SATA drive installation
Cons:
– Doesn’t include a drive activity LED
– Limited settings in BIOS, so no overclocking or other customizations
– The front USB-A ports are upside down so when plugging in a thumb drive the status LED faces downwards
– CPU cooling could have been better to prevent the CPU from throttling during testing
– Bottom cover was very difficult to come off even when using their included silicone pull tab. I needed to install a screw into one of the mounting holes and pull the cover off. Would have preferred if this was just a bit easier to remove.
Final Impression:
Overall, the BOSGAME G35 Mini PC did an excellent job. Quality build and components used that provides good processing power and should be able to be used as a PC replacement. It doesn’t have the greatest graphics processor, so you won’t be able to play the latest games on max settings, but will handle your daily tasks with ease.
