Does the Job
This cable is exactly what you think… It does its job, exactly to the specification advertised.
I’ve used this to convert my USB C power sources to USB A ports for my older devices with older cables. It’s exactly what I needed since it also gives me some extra cable length. The only thing I have noticed about this cable is that it is a bit stiffer than most, but it’s not an issue for me. I can still coil it up just fine for storage.

Most electrical connections have the same slim coated cables. Not this one. It feels heavy and durable. I wanted a short length, not 6 feet of cable, so be aware of the length. So far, so good. I like it.

I just migrated from a PC to a MacBook Pro. My PC has 2 USB ports and 1 USB C port. The MacBook only uses USB C - so what to do with my peripherals requiring a USB port? This perfectly solves the problem. This adapter feels quite sturdy. It clips to the MacBook with a sturdy click. The ends seem quite sturdy and the entire adapter feels like it will last a while. This adapter allows me to continue to use all my old peripherals. Well worth the investment.

One Small Issue
The USB 3.0 female end doesn’t connect to a USB 3.0 male end cleanly. You have to exert a little bit of force. It seems that the metal sides are grinding up against each other, causing some friction. This isn’t a big deal although it would be nice if it could attach cleanly.
On the other hand, this thing transfer data at 5Gbps. This is pretty good. It’s as high as you can go for USB 3.0.

It is also compatible with a flash drive, a keyboard, hub, mouse, etc. The listing also states that it withstands more than 10,000 + bending tests, and the braided nylon jacket adds extra durability. I don't think I will bend it more than 10,000 times. LOL! But it's good to know it will last. I am very happy with this adapter. I might have to order more!

This helped to save my old, beloved (cheap) computer speakers. Plugged them in, then the cable to my computer and they worked. I’ve had these speakers across three computers and would miss them if I had to give them up. Great cable.

The CLEEFUN USB C to USB 3.0 Adapter Cable only fit in one of the two iPhone 15 phone cases I tried because the shell on the USB-C connector is large as can be seen in the attached photo. Otherwise the cable performs as expected.

This adapter is rated for 5Gbps data speed, while some others that Amazon sells are rated for 10Gbps. If you have a newer higher-end device that supports the higher speed, you should buy the faster adapters since they don't cost much more. If you can live with the slower speed, this adapter works fine. I use it to connect older (and slower) USB-A flash drives, SSDs, etc. to my laptop and tablet that only support USB-C. I like having the flexible cable since it puts less stress on my device's USB-C port.

This cable is thick and has a nice braided outer jacket to resist abrasions. All the plugs and ports fit well...tight connections.

Solid. Good USB-C connector, very snug USB-A connector. OTG and 5Gbps speeds work.
I wanted a better-quality OTG cable for my phones and this one has worked well so far.
Solid construction. A little stiff. Metal connector housings. USB-A socket very snug, but usable. USB-C plug decently snug so won’t fall out, clicks in nicely. OTG on phone worked. USB 3.0 5Gbps speeds worked.
0.16V drop at 2A (well within USB spec). USB cable tester shows all relevant lines connected.
Minor issue: connectors were rotated with respect to each other so one won’t lay flat.
