I haven’t actually tried them but was bought for a Xmas gift for my daughter in law, and she loved them.
On opening the box they look fantastic, so different, and a good size chocolate too, and a pretty box.
Only a very slight downside, on wrapping them noticed that they were only sealed down on one place, at the front, and the sides of box seemed to gape slightly, which is not good so sealed with little bit of sticky tape. With chocolates at this price, and let’s face it they are expensive, I think they should have been sealed better. This wouldn’t put me off buying them again though.
I was unhappy that the best before date wasn’t very long away which ment I had to give the chocolates earlier than I had planned or they would have been out of date. For this reason I’d probably not order again.
i’ve bought many Artisan Luxury Chocolates before, but these surpassed any others. Beautifully made and presented. Gorgeous and decadent flavours. Makes an excellent 5* special gift. I highly recommend. I bought them while on offer, for me; definitely worth the money.
The chocs themselves looked and tasted fantastic, all different flavours and textures. The big problem is that I ate them all in one day because I was so tempted to try them.
The majority of the chocolates were delicious, the lime and chilli surprised me the most! You could really taste the lime, then as soon as I started eating it I got a gentle heat in my mouth and throat. I’d definitely eat one of those again.
My favourite, by far, was the cherry pie, OMG! it was amazing. A lush whole cherry with rich cherry syrup, I’d love a whole box of those!
Slightly disappointed with the pina colada, hints of coconut but missing any pineapple flavour.
Overall I was happy with the flavours and textures. The box is beautiful, slightly let down by the ingredients sticker on the back, which was stuck on carelessly with creases and air bubbles. A small niggle but it spoils the overall, premium effect.
Would I buy them again, probably not, I’ve satisfied my curiosity but they’re too expensive to become a regular indulgence.
Good best before date of over 12 months.
